  1. I tried one of those bonnie/bush hats on today, I dont know if I just have a big head but even extra large size was ridiculously small on me lol ):
  2. If you play by the rules and have respect, it doesn't matter how old you are.
  3. Hi baz, Yes i know i have to play 3 games the site im going to has an event every sunday so i should get it by mid august
  4. After many hours of research I have made the decision to buy a G&G top tech gen 3 m16! I have booked in my dairy to attend all of the upcoming Sundays in July and august at Billercay skirmish. My airsofting career has begun A couple more questions i have, I have heard about people getting their teeth shot out during airsoft games. Is face protection mandatory and are these people just unlucky or is this injury a common occurrence? Lastly, I want to mount some kind of Optic or Aiming device on my gun is it likely that if a BB strikes the glass will it crack? and i wasted £50
  5. Thank you very much guys, I have gathered a lot of information now! I think I will get a G&G top tech then, I didn't know you could get warranties. Im a little confused when looking on the website at which G&G guns are "Top tech" are these the "Gen3" ones?
  6. I don't have a restricted price range but as it will be my first "competitive" airsoft gun to get me into the sport, I didnt think laying out £300+ would be a good idea. A lot of people have said that the G&G combat machine series are good starter guns, however I cant seem to find any in stock that is a colour i want (Only desert tan in stock). Its hard because I have never seen the difference of performance in person between guns, making it hard to contemplate the differences in price. If i did buy one of the mention guns, would I be completely outclassed by everyone? I would rather buy a gun that is competitive at a slightly higher price bracket, then buying a cheaper gun i will want to replace instantly.
  7. Simply put what gun is better, http://www.roeairsoft.com/product.php?xProd=142&xSec=7 or http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/airsoft-weapons-c38/electric-rifles-c45/cqr-mod1-p2189
  8. I live in Southend, I didnt know of any local airsoft shops. I will Definately check that shop out then. Just checked their site and this gun looks very cheap, on the land warrior website its £250 http://www.roeairsoft.com/product.php?xProd=142&xSec=7
  9. Hey dazols, Im trying to get my ukara so i will be going to all of the upcoming events at Billericay and renting a gun
  10. I've looked around and i cant seem to find an L129A1 made by a branded retailer. Would like to see one of those that can be bought stock
  11. Thank you for the advice BrightCandle, I will make sure to read through the manual of the gun I purchase so i can get an idea of the inner workings. Hi Cavninja, I will probably meet you some time then if youre also Essex based. I can imagine that buying new bits and pieces is quite addictive! unfortunately its not really possible as im a university student come September (I wont have much money ) By the way, I have read that KWA have a reputation of high reliability so i will probably buy the "KWA CQR MOD" as you have suggested Jay83 In terms of performance, would a top tech G&G gun be much better then the KWA CQR MOD? Because I dont mind paying the extra money if the performance or build quality is noticeable. Or would it be cheaper to buy parts for my KWA to increase performance
  12. @Moose i subscribed to Ed's channel @Jay £300 is not for my whole kit, just the gun and accessories for the gun I have more money to buy the kit and i am planning to rent untill i can get my ukara license anyway Thanks for all the information guys, very helpful!
  13. Yes Moose, How long can i expect a new gun to last before breaking or in need of repair? Also I have been looking around and this gun seems like a good deal? http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/airsoft-weapons-c38/electric-rifles-c45/g-p-g-p-ak-47-tactical-p3647
  14. Hi jay, thanks for the reply and suggestions I will be going to billericay on the 26th this month to rent a gun and get a feel for it. Just a question, how long can i expect my gun to last?

  16. Hello friends, My name is Josh I have just turned 18 and gained access to some money. I have been interested in the hobby of Airsoft for a few years now, but have never had the funds to start it. Now I have said funds and have come here seeking some friendly tips and advice for a noob. I am looking to spend around £300 on a Air-soft gun, the main aspect I am looking for is reliability and quality. These 2 features are the most important for me, i want a gun that will serve me well for years without fault! I am prepared to raise the £300 mark a little bit but nothing to drastic. If you can recommend a gun of the following criteria that would be fantastic, also if you can recommend certain brands and retailers to trust and others to avoid? On a sidenote, I am based in the Southeast of England. Can some local recommend the best sites in the area and possibly does anybody want to meet up? thanks -Josh
