  2. Finally ordered 3 more mags to bring my total of WE M4 mags to 7, enough to stand a chance at playing with the L85 now 37 euro's a piece from Gunfire.pl and free shipping.
  3. 28mm war-gaming tends to be expensive by standard. Warlord Games are one of the cheapest 28mm brands on the market though. Its an easy game to convert though to other scales. If you want to game for much less then take a look at plastic soldier company's 15mm range. You can get an entire company for about £15-20s.
  4. There will almost certainly be a war-gaming club nearby and WW2 is almost always one of the periods played Do a quick Google search and find one you like the look of and pop along for a look. Beware though, sixes on a dice will become both your best friend and your worst enemy...
  5. There have been a couple of visits by drones at my local site:
  6. I think its something like 18mm on the WE while the real steal one is 19mm or something like that.
  7. You have to be careful with optics with these as well. The rail is slightly narrower then the other manufactures. To fit an ARES Susat on without it wobbling I had to superglue strips of cereal box onto the sides of the clamp on the scope.
  8. If you have an NPAS in there you might also have it restricting too much gas, a mistake I made and I had a similar experience to yours on full auto.
  9. Makes the guy behind actually standing up look even more dwarvish
  10. I may have very nearly shed man tears watching the hobbit today

I loved part 3 what do you think I would give it a 10/10

I would give it a 9/10 as a couple of cliches ticked me off at the start :P was awesome though :) I have a feeling that it will definetly be worth getting the extended edition though as I think it may explore what happens to Saruman when he goes after Sauron. My guess is he finds the Palantir then in the ruins of Arnor.

  11. I love your conversion with the demon getting whacked out of the way.
  12. Just started painting a model of death from Discworld for my dad for Christmas.
  13. Awesome games today!

  14. How on earth do you load a WE M4 mag with a speed loader? Been doing it by hand so far but getting fed up with that.

I hold one finger the rear side of the mag lip thing and then use the speed loader diagonal into it from the other direction.

Through I tend to just use the loading tube thing that comes with it now, speed load into that then just slide the thing down

The King Arms speed loaders come with an adaptor to let you load pistol mags.

Just use the pistol adaptor, it's a piece of piss then.

I got a pistol speed loader with an adaptor specifically for these mags, it is useless though :/ I seem to be getting it in fairly easily now - thanks for the tips.

  15. You can get army surplus chest rigs for around £18. 3 Double pouches and two very spacious utility pouches to put all your other bits in. Failing that you can put plenty of magazines in the side pouches as well.
  16. Certain items such as morphine, first aid e.t.c have to be in the same place so that a medic does not have to faff around trying to find it.
  17. Ill be trying out the L85 with Propane this weekend, I think its probably still going to be a better option then Nurpol.
  18. Re-read this topic as im pretty sure we have already made several recommendations on mice!
  19. DPI ratings control how many pixels the cursor will move on the screen with an inch of movement. Most people tend to have it set to about 800-900. Having the quick change settings is useful though in FPS as I tend to find that I want to lowest setting for infantry and then something a bit higher for vehicles, especially when flying on BF. Something with 2.5k is probably overkill unless you are running super high res screens. It does not hurt to have it but its better to get a mouse with a decent tracker then a mouse with high DPI as them ones tend to use much lower quality trackers.
  20. Firesupport have a very good chunk of there ICS range at 31% off.
  21. Getting a new mouse will make no difference to having a negative difference if you are comfortable with your current ones. As for HDMI cables just get a v.2 I believe it is. If you spent more then 10-15 pound then you have done it wrong.
