  1. OK, so having figured out how to strip the mags. checked the O rings and done the leak test in water, the 6 leaking mags all appear to be leaking from the filler nozzle. The O rings are all good, no damage or leaks. I found this great web site for spares and expanded diagrams http://eagle6.co.uk/shop/ I ordered new valves and tried fitting, still no joy! I'm stumped! I've also got an M4 STANAG type GBB mag that has developed a leak from the exit port, I was told by a tech in a shop that it was my exit nozzle and bought a new one, fitted it and yup! Still leaking! Any info or advice gratefully guys, thanks
  2. Halo Mill is a great CQB place near Huddersfield
  3. I agree with Ian, go in all guns blazing for a full refund and shop elsewhere, if they don't play ball, involve your local trading standards, they're taking the p*ss!
  4. Fair one, urban camo uniforms are pretty much Operation Broken Pencil! totally pointless! The best cam is your field craft and personal skills, especially in an urban/CQB environment, cover from view and cover from fire, use of shadows etc. We did use to employ an urban cam on AVs in Berlin, a block pattern of black/white/grey, but thankfully that never made it on to clothing!!
  5. Looking good Pierce, where were the pics taken? Looks a bit like the sandpit?
  6. Saw this in a local airsoft store yesterday!......... I had to run!!! to save my credit card!!!
  7. That's a torch??!! I thought it was ian's from "weekend collection "??!!! ;-p
  8. Welcome aboard Pyro, its a little father north, but The Mall in Reading is a great CQB venue, get in while you can before its gone for redevelopment!
  9. Cheers JC, i'll have a look at that too!
  10. Cheer Spatch, I'll give it a go!
  11. Hey folks, I've got a problem with my son's TM MP7, six out of his ten mags have developed leaks from the inlet valves. I've tried spraying silicone oil in to every orifice, I've tried removing, cleaning and re-greasing the inlet valve, I've even tried PTFE tape, but still leaking. Also I can't figure out how to strip the mags, there appears to be no simple way to do so and my usual tutor, YouTube, has failed me, can't find anything specific to the TM mags. It was bought second hand and all the mags functioned when bought, its only been skirmished once and the mags have been stored with gas in them. Please help??!!
  12. Here we go! 10 hours to Frankfurt, and then a short hop to Blighty! back tomorrow afternoon, The Mall on Sunday! Hoorah!

  13. Lovin' the boots!Got myself a pair, brand new from a mate's brother's girlfriend (yeah! I know!) Who works for Salomon, at a bargain price! But half a size too small and couldn't take em back! No worries me thinks, I'll ebay-em to fund a pair from Surf-Mountain in NI who do new ones for £122! So I buy another new pair that fit, meanwhile my teenage son goes "Yoke"!!!! Charming! Awesome boots though!
  14. Karimor SF Predator 45L day sack in Multicam from kit monster http://www.kitmonster.co.uk/images/karrimor-predator-45-multicam-00.jpg And waterproof bergen, day sack and side pouch liners!
  15. Hmmm, not sure, maybe ask the place you bought it from? they may even be able to do it for you at a reasonable price? I guess you'd have to select the material, make a liner and then stitch it in? I do a bit of my own sewing myself and used to do bits and pieces when i was serving, but tbh I wouldn't fancy trying to make effective liners. I'm trying to get myself round to replacing the PLCE clips on my ammo pouches with Velcro strips to ease closing the pouches! lol Good luck!
  16. Hey JC, sorry pal, I might be able to make the 17th, but don't get back to UK till the 13th. Enjoy! It's a pretty good venue, quite dark so a good torch and spare batteries are essential! And it's a bit of a maze so it'll take you a while to get your bearings! But at least it's laid out in quite a straight forward grid! Being purely CQB, if you really wanna clear the rooms? it's Pyro all the way baby! Have a good un!
  17. Three sleeps and a wake up and I'm on the Freedom Bird back to the world! Whoop whoop!

  18. It's not a bad price, though I would have thought tan would be a little cheaper, I have a WAS DCS in multi cam with the pouch load out it comes with and it rocks! very comfy, very versatile, it wasn't my first choice of PC but now I wouldn't swap it for anything!
  19. Use a combat shirt or jacket, that way you can wear it over a base layer. good luck!

  22. Seeing as I'm back from foreign shores for Crimbo, I'm looking for dates for skirmishes between 14th Dec and the 3rd Jan, so that my and my Son can "Git Sum!" Happy to drive for a couple of hours to get there if need be, looking at the South of England or the Yorkshire region. Best I've found so far is Halo Mill in Yorkshire, The Tower in Leicester on the 20th and a couple of UCAP Bunker dates and The Mall in Reading. Does anyone have any other dates or locations the...

So far we're booked for The Mall on the 14th, looking at The Tower on the 20th and will most likely be at Halo Mill between the 26th and 30th, hope to meet some forum chaps on our travels!

  23. Awesome job mate, its the little detail touches that'll really make it now, small union flag on left not right arm etc, Ed's got a great loaout vid on YouTube and as JC says, look for some late Herrick pics for your pouch placement, but it is a great looking load out, where's the site with the Puma hull?
