Personally when I advertise stuff I usually make it clear that the price includes PayPal and postage fees. In this case quango2k hasn’t mentioned PayPal, just delivery. So it does leave room for confusion. As it is advised that all transactions go via PayPal I can see why you would expect PayPal fees to be included in his price. But once it is clear that the PayPal fees are extra, if you didn’t want to pay the extra, personally I would have left it at that. Thanks, but no thanks. I feel that posting a bad review was probably an unnecessary step to far. I wouldn’t necessarily say either of you were being an asshole, just a situation that could probably have been dealt with better.

Nice. I want a different stock on my URG-I. I think I’m going to go with a tan B5 Sopmod, but the Magpul with the riser looks nice. That may be an option. Is that a genuine Insight torch or a replica?

Well my dispute is in with Aliexpress so I’ll see what happens with that, but in the meantime I’m pretty much done with my Clay Spenser build. One or two little touches left to do, needs a better charging handle, but other than that, even with the damage, I’m very happy with it. I think it looks great with my Jason Hayes build.

To be honest, my heart did sink when I saw the dent and if it had been a U.K. or European store it would be going back. But it’s just way to much hassle to try sending it back to an Aliexpress store in China. So I’ve made my peace with it ? I’ve got a 416 with the Geissele rail for the Jason Hayes look, but I’ve been after a Clay 416 as well. I’ll get pictures posted when it arrives and it’s kitted up. In the mean time I’ve stuck it on my TM M4 URG-I.

It took nearly a month, but it got here and I have to say I’m very impressed. So a big thank you to rocketdogbert for the heads up. It looks absolutely perfect, apart from the damage to the front and a couple of small scratches, which I’m guessing must have happened during packaging as it came securely package in a decent case. The markings are really nice and it has some decent weight to it. Plus it comes with everything in the picture, Geissele style mount, covers, kill flash and throw lever. The glass is nice and clear with decent crosshairs and the zoom in and out is smooth enough. Obviously it’s not going to be as smooth as the real thing, but it’s a hell of a lot cheaper. All in all I’m very happy. Just waiting for my 416 to arrive so I can get on with my SEAL Team Clay Spenser build.

Can anyone recommend a courier who will transport a gas pistol to Republic of Ireland? Royal Mail/Parcel Force won’t due to the gas magazines. Thanks.

That may be an option and all the reviews look good. I’ll have to weigh up the delivery costs of the different sellers to see what’s best. I’ve seen this advertised of a few of the Chinese airsoft stores so I’ll see which is best value. But the reviews are definitely promising.

I’ve seen that Ares are doing a replica of the Vortex Razor LPVO and want to know if anyone has one and what they’re like. Even if they’re half decent it may be worth taking a punt as I’ve been looking at getting one for a while, but £1500 for a real one is a bit steep to chuck on an airsoft gun.

I’ve got the VFC M110 and it is gorgeous. I absolutely love it. But, and it’s a big but, I’ve not used it in any games and I never will. It was bought as a collectors piece and so I can’t tell you how well it will perform in game and how well the internals will last. The externals though, as expected from VFC are awesome and it feels fantastic. Nice heavy recoil, very loud and solid as a rock. It’s unfortunate that VFC can’t build the internals like the build the external.

Nothing airsoft related for Christmas, but I got these two excellent full metal GOATGUNS miniatures from my wife. I’ve got to say I’m very impressed with them and I think I’m going to get some more.

It’ll be a shame if they don’t become available here, because they look fantastic. I’d definitely sell my TM build to part fund buying one.

Has anyone heard any chatter about anywhere in the U.K. that intends to stock the Archwick L119A2 and if there is any time frame for stock coming in?

Yeah, this has been a problem for a while. I’ve noticed it particularly with GBB’s, especially WE’s. I’ve been waiting on stocks of XM177’s and M16A1’s coming in and they’re just nowhere to be found. As EDcase said, it does seem to have been the perfect storm. Hopefully things will start to settle down and we’ll get supplies through.

Update. Credit where it’s due. Sixmm have given me a full refund and didn’t ask for the suppressor back. All comms were via WhatsApp and were answered within 48hrs. One message stated that the WhatsApp account was a business one and all queries would be answered within 48hrs so they were true to their word. How much of this was down to me putting in a dispute with PayPal and how much was due to them sorting out their customer services I don’t know. But, a good outcome for me, so happy days.

Well, it appears my praise of Sixmm was premature as it turns out the £60 VFC M110 suppressor I ordered has turned into a £30 Ares suppressor on delivery. They’ve stamped M110 markings on it, which look poor and the ink they’ve used to highlight the markings has smudged along the side of the suppressor. But, worst of all, it doesn’t even fit the VFC M110. I’ve contacted them via WhatsApp sending all the pictures and received a reply from someone saying they are new to the company and will pass it on to the manager who will contact me tomorrow. It didn’t even come in any manufactures packaging, just wrapped in bubble wrap and shoved in a plastic bag. We’ll see what happens with my requested refund, but I’d avoid them like the plague.

I ordered a suppressor last week with Asia Airsoft via PayPal. I went to check on my order status a couple of days later and found the order had been removed from my order history. No record of it at all even though the payment had gone through. I contacted Asia Airsoft by email and was advised to contact via WhatsApp, which I did. I hadn’t made a note of the order number or received an email confirmation which I know is usual for them. I’ve ordered loads of stuff from Asia Airsoft in the past and I don’t think I’ve ever received an email. Anyway, my contact was able to find my order using the PayPal transaction number and everything was processed and sent out within a day or so of sending the WhatsApp message. They said in future I should order through the Sixmm website and the email that I received with the tracking details was from Sixmm. So it looks like Asia Airsoft is going to be no more and Sixmm is the new company. My order is in the U.K. so should be delivered in the next few days. Hopefully it’s right and intact. So far I can’t complain about their customer service.

Does anyone know anything about pew hub . co . uk ? (I’ve spaced it out in case it’s dodgy) I’ve not heard of them, but they seem to have the VFC M110 gbb in stock. I’ve not been able to find it anywhere in the U.K. and I’m wondering if anyone has experience of this site.

So, in answer to my own question, it appears yes, the Madbull Omega X FSP rail does fit without modification. The barrel nut is to wide to secure the barrel by itself, due to the specific TM barrel design, but I’ve managed to secure it with a spare O ring which fits snuggly round the barrel and under the barrel nut.

No mate it’s a knock off I got from Amazon if I remember correctly. It looks the part though.

Does the Madbull Omega X FSP rail fit onto the TM MWS without modifications? Or any other make FSP rail. I’m sure it’s probably buried somewhere in the 180 pages of this thread, but nothing obvious came up in a search.
