Are you the guy who posted questioning whether it was a scam? Did you get my comment? Hopefully it helped and prevented you getting scammed.

Let me guess, is it in Australia?

https://www.airsoft-hub.com/item/19722-rare-we-colt-m4-co2-rifle £1230 for a WE CQBR with mags and a few accessories. That’s massively over priced I hear you say. Ah, but hold on. He’s ex-infantry who wants something more than just a normal airsoft gun. So this is a rare WE Colt M4 (yeah, there’s no Colt trademarked receiver, so it’s just a bog standard WE CQBR with a couple of internal upgrades), which is a fully upgraded milsim rifle. Now you see where the value lies ?. Honestly mate, you’ll be lucky to get half that price ?
-
To be honest, with the amount of stuff I’ve bought and sold over the years I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s my wife trying to flog all my stuff ?
-
Also, be aware that if you see this WE M14 EBR for sale anywhere using this photo, it’s also one of my pictures of a gun I sold a while ago. I know of one person so far that’s had this offered to them for around £200 using this photo. £200 is very cheap for a standard WE M14, let alone a fully trademarked EBR with accessories. So it suggests it’s a scam as opposed to the current owner wanting to sell.

That had crossed my mind. He seems to have been a bit quite lately. Other than the fact it was clearly my photo, there were other things that stood out about the advert. Mainly that it was described as being a Tokyo Marui. Obviously, TM don’t do a GBB MP5, (although I wish they would, because it would be awesome). So, if you know your airsoft guns it’s possible to pick out some of the scammers. The problem is these people are mainly praying on people who don’t know a great deal about airsoft, or are new and just want a gun.
-
The irony is, I’m actually after a GBB MP5, so I would have been interested in buying it ??

https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/airsoft_i45974 Be advised there is a scam seller trying to sell an MP5 using an old photo from one of my sales. I’ve seen it on Used Airsoft, but don’t know if it’s anywhere else. They’ve photoshopped the name. I’ve added my picture below to confirm. The post has now been removed, but I think the name was William O’Connor, or something like that. Name was obviously photoshopped.

Does anyone know if the LCT wide hand guard is compatible with the VFC G3 without any modifications? Or anywhere I can get a real wide G3 hand guard? I think the VFC is real steel compatible. I’ve looked around the deactivated gun stores and none available at the moment that I can see.
-
Ah man, now showing 3 in stock. I’ve got some serious thinking to do.
-
I’ve just seen that Landwarrior have the Archwick L119A2 listed on their GBB’s page, but showing out of stock. I’m wondering if that means they’ll be getting some in stock soon. Listed at £1999.99 though ? I may have to consider selling some of my keepers if they do get some. Sorry for the necropost, but thought the update was worth it ?
-
Yeah, that’s part of the reason I sold both the ones I had, the trigger pull sucks. Hopefully if they’re changing it for the Gen 5, then it’ll be awesome because the trigger pull was the only issue with it. Everything else is great.
-
That’s definitely good to hear. I’ll keep my eyes open for that.

Personally I’m interested in most of the VFC stand. They’ve got some great stuff coming out, but the main highlights for me are the M249 and the HK53. I’m also looking forward to the GHK Glock 17 Gen 5.
-
We just need to get some U.K. stores to start stocking them and we’re laughing. I’m really impressed with VFC’s product range, both current and future, but I don’t know if it’s a production issue or import problems, but there’s never anything in stock. No G3’s available all year, still no Fal’s available and M110’s have always been very difficult to get.
-
You’re right, they are much better. I’ve had the G3, the M110, 733 and I’ve still got a couple of 416’s and a 2nd gen MP5 and have had no issues whatsoever. I love VFC’s stuff and that they are willing to make stuff that other manufacturers aren’t. My main concern really is whether U.K. stores will stock them. I spoke to a few stores a while back about the prospect of getting the M110 and for the most part the answer was no because they didn’t want to take a risk on VFC due to their reputation for poor internals. Hopefully some stores will stock this, but nowhere in the U.K. has had the G3, M110 or FAL available for ages, if at all, and at the price I’m imagining this will be, I don’t really want to risk trying to import one.
-
I’ve had the VFC Gen 5 and I’ve still got the VFC 19X which has the same style grip and it does feel that little bit more comfortable to hold. That said, the Gen 3 isn’t exactly uncomfortable, but it’s nice to see that we’ll soon have a choice between the two.
-
Yeah, the lack of a comma after lightweight would suggest they mean the recoil, but I’m not totally sure which way they mean it. I guess we’ll find out more when they release more details. There’s a YouTube video coming out soon by the looks of it and VFC usually do quite a bit of social media coverage on their new releases. As a collector I think I’d rather a more realistic weight with a lighter recoil than a lighter gun with heavier recoil. There’s always the potential for after market parts to increase the recoil. There’s been a fair bit of talk over the last couple of years of either a GBB M249 or a drop in kit for existing M249’s, but I’ve not seen anything come on the market. I’m guessing this is a promotional video as proof of concept or something like that, but definitely not something that was released to my knowledge. I may be wrong, but I would have thought that if A&K had released a gas M249 there would have been reviews and discussions around it.
-
Now this could be awesome. There’s been talk for ages of a gas M249, but it looks like VFC have actually got one ready to go. Yes, VFC internals leave a lot to be desired, although they are much better now than they were, and it would have been better if TM or GHK were to release one, but beggars can’t be choosers. At least VFC are willing to diversify and not just push out a new style AR-15. The only downside is that it says it’s a lightweight blowback. I’m guessing that refers to the weight of the gun as opposed to the weight of the recoil. I know an M249 is a heavy gun, but for realism I’d prefer the heavier weight.
-
I was hoping GHK would be releasing more Glocks and it looks like they are. There’s no specific release date yet other than 2023. I like the Gen 3, but there’s just something about the Gen 5 that I prefer. Hopefully we’ll get a Glock 19 from them as well.

It looks like all of the scopes and mounts are still available, which is pretty much all I use Aliexpress for anyway. I wonder what the reason is behind the move.
-
Just go to Aliexpress and put Evolution Gear Vudu into the search and it’ll bring it up. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but the Tango6T and Vortex Razor replicas I’ve bought we’re expensive as well and are really nice replicas. So I’d expect the Vudu to be nice as well. Not as nice as the real thing, but it’s a fair bit cheaper.
-
Aliexpress is your friend for anything like that. Evolutiongear do a Vudu clone. I’ve not ordered one, so I don’t know what it’s like, but I have bought an Evolutiongear Sig Tango6T which I’m very impressed with.
-
I was hoping for a GBB Famas, so this is something I’ll be keeping an eye on. Thanks for the heads up ?
-
I’m the same as Jim. I’ve ordered a bunch of stuff from HAO’s website and never had any issue with customs and never had any fees added. I’m not saying there’s never going to be an issue, but I think you’ll be unlucky if you get hit with customs charges. That said, the Angry Gun rail is very nice and, like I said yesterday, it’s probably the one I’ll go for when I come to build my 10.5. Just to keep it the same as my 14.5. I’m not sure what the colour difference is between the HAO and Angry Gun, but there was definitely a difference between the GHK and the Angry Gun. The GHK was a lighter shade with the Angry Gun being a darker, richer colour that I preferred. I think you’ll be lucky to get it in 2 weeks. It’s not impossible, but it’ll be pushing it. Especially with the Royal Mail strikes. It looks like they have more strikes planned for 2nd, 3rd and 4th of November. So I don’t rate your chances of getting it in 2 weeks.
