1. She's not surprised when you know every local UPS/Parcelforce/Fed Ex/etc. driver by name. 2. You have a laundry list of reasons why the spare room should be turned into an armoury. 3. Those guns you "borrowed off a mate" are still there months after she first saw them.

Jack Pyke LLCS leaf strips and a rifle stock pouch (olive) to go on my ssg 69. Want to add a bit more foliage to my rifle to break up the outline more when sniping and this seems perfect as it doesn't deteriorate like real foliage does. The pouch is for my rifle mags since I'm used to storing sniper mags in such a place from when I used to run my previous sniper rifle. I keep forgetting they live on my belt pouch mid battle and end up suffering for it so I caved. Just hope it all arrives before my next game.

Looking to get a sniper to complete my arsenal
Happy replied to skillfulmmd's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
As Mos said: the Mancraft kit is a brilliant way to get a consistently shooting rifle but it's down to personal preference at the end of the day. I personally prefer the spring route as it doesn't require an external power source but that's just me. Really tempted by the mancraft svd kit though. -
Adds a fun twist to gameplay - especially on pistol nights. Some of my fondest Airsoft memories are of sneaking around at night with my mk23 or cz75 in one hand and a rubber knife in the other. Have twelve kills with one so far mostly from these pistol nights.

A compensator for my MK23 off a guy who does 3D printing on Facebook - £16. Decided I want my impractically large hand cannon to be even bigger! Just hope my suppressor adapter still fits it.

Forcecore A104-C at £149.62 (including spring downgrade) from Gunfire.pl http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152207776-FC-A104-C-by-E-L-Submachine-Gun-Replica.html?4clk=MTE1MjIwNzc3NiwxMjMsMTQ1MTY1MzY2MywzLGQ4Y2FmNmFiOTA3MzZjZTcxZDIwZTY4MzU2NjM0Mzk4 Was tempted by the Cyma CM.031B at £58~ but ended up buying this instead. A solid investment by all accounts Update: Also purchased a stick battery for £13~ from component shop as I seem to have lost my other one.

Surprised we're still talking about this guy to be honest
-
Forcecore then CYMA then APS. Heard from more than a few people about gearbox trouble with the APS AK range.

Apparently just because I can, doesn't mean I should... (At least according to my mates) Yet to try it out in a skirmish set up like this.

I'm really, really tempted by a TAG as well but Christmas and a holiday next month put rest to that purchase. This launcher is just for giggles really. Plus I don't have any weapons I could attach an underslung launcher to (barrels too short, no space, etc.) so it left me with a stand alone one. At £30 it's worth a pop. Update: Some more purchases. Micro red dot sight - £17 off eBay. Cheap pistol laser - £7 off eBay. Just undecided whether to mount them to my shotgun or my mk23 now...
-
CYMA AK folding fore grip - £10 Second hand shotgun stock for my M56 - £15 Very light on airsoft purchases this month - Christmas being round the corner and all. These are just parts I've wanted for a while (particularly the shotgun stock) and being relatively inexpensive I decided to get them. Hopefully buying an s-thunder launcher with two grenades off a friend later. If I do then I expect I'll be spending a lot of money on 40mm grenades in the coming months to make a loadout out of it

Another vote for the MK23 - awesome gun. Easy to modify as well to out range a lot of AEGs (since it takes vsr barrels/hop rubbers). But if you are dedicated on getting a blowback pistol then I'd also recommend a TM hi-cappa. Very good pistol with a plethora of aftermarket parts.
-
Worse thing I've done is shoot up half my team by accident thinking they were on the other side. In my defence it was dark bu I should have realised something was up when they started shouting instead of shooting me back

It's already been said that a pistol isn't a good idea for a first weapon and I do agree with that point. To be honest though if you're mostly going to the Wednesday games then it's going to very much limit your options to either a pistol, shotgun or gas smg. What's your available budget? We can make better recommendations knowing how much you're willing to spend.

All the rental pistols are g17s of some brand or other - never used one so never asked which. Pretty sturdy guns from what I've seen though, just not my cup of tea (everyone has a glock of some sort at some point). Depending on who turns up (and what night) you'll see everything from cheap single shot shotguns, GBB mp7s of varying brandsand tri shot shotguns all the way up to HPA kitted rifles/Tippmans. The HPAs are the reason I try to attend just the shotgun/pistol nights since the HPA guys usually end up dominating what part of the site they're on. At least with the pistol/shotgun nights you're all on a similar playing field in terms of weapon range. Whenever I go I always pack my mk23 and a few of the other guys there run one as well. A lot of fun for sneaky/virtually silent shooting at unsuspecting enemies and teammates (friendly fire is a lot more common obviously). Oh, and bring a flashlight of some sort. You'll need one if you've never played at the site before.

Not this Wednesday but I'm going to be there next week if the weathers decent.
-
Is the party over already? Shame, it was just getting fun!
-
Yeah the gaol use g17 pistols as rentals though I'm not sure which brand. As for which pistol it depends massively on your available budget. If you want very cheap yet decent then an ASG MK23 is a good investment - can be picked up between £35 and £60 depending on where you buy it from. If you have the money to spare then any kwa or TM pistol really. They're built very well with very good quality control compared to the clone brands.
-
Yup. Very curious to see what happens when I run it on propane haha
-
I am seriously considering getting one of these when payday rolls around - just for giggles
-
That's a very generous estimate. Most of my orders from there have taken on average a month or sometimes more to arrive. That said my last order with them was three months ago. Hopefully Sergei has improved things since then.
-
Everyone else has pretty much given you the info you need. Can highly recommend the Forcore AKs - very good quality for a very good price. For gear I order most of my stuff from here: http://frontowiec.com Very cheap prices for gear. Additionally it's based in Poland so you don't have to wait as long for your orders which is my only complaint with Grey Shop. Can take as long as a month for orders to arrive from GS whereas with Frontowiec it arrives within a week. Only problem is that some of the more popular items (Smersh rigs for example) go out of stock very quickly due to their cheap prices.
-
I used an mb02 as a base for one of my rifles and though it turned out okay the stock is pretty cheap quality. That said it's vsr compatible for the parts you're looking at getting.

Link removed so I guess the admins on that page agreed.

Personally thought it looked like the designer wanted a RIF that doubled as a bottle opener Anyway bought 4 sets of WE M9 feeding lips to replace on my ASG MK23 magazines to stop them jamming.
