  1. Will do mate though won't be for some time (due to work). More than likely will be down for a few of their pistol nights later this month.
  2. There's one planned for March so will hopefully see you there
  3. Still an amazing bit of kit though. It's probably the only pistol I'd consider running on it's own at woodland sites.
  4. In the colder weather keep your mags in your pockets to keep the gas warmer when not in use. That's about all I change when pistol only in colder weather. Or just buy an aep, but you'll be very outclassed by pretty much everyone else at the site. Otherwise just make sure your hop up is properly set for whatever BB weight you intend to use - you're already at a disadvantage in woodlands so you seriously need to get whatever range increases you can. Pistol only is a lot of fun to do, just make sure you know your weapon's capabilities (range, fps, accuracy, reliability, etc.) or you will have a bad time of it.
  5. Metro 2033 / S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Love Eastern Bloc kit and these games combine that with an apocalyptic setting which I also like.
  6. Spring! But that isn't an option Personally I'm a gas fan as well. I find them a lot easier to maintain and a lot more fun to shoot. Having more "realistic" ammo limits also makes it more fun for me - makes me play a lot smarter. That said AEGs are more practical but I hate taking gearboxes apart. Most of my AEGs stay stock because of this
  7. Knowing some of the Russians that are going I can tell you this: you're going to be in for one hell of a fight #BolshForLife
  8. Well when I used it at my last two woodland games I didn't get bitten, but that may be due to the weather changing. Edit: Purchased a rail mount for my GBB VZ61 for ~£24 since my attempts at creating one didn't go as planned. BrainExploder off YouTube has a seperate website where he sells 3D printed copies of the mounts he makes for use on his weapons: http://www.shapeways.com/designer/BrainExploder
  9. Seeing as you have to be 18 to legally buy an airsoft gun I'd say it's pretty important.
  10. I tend to just add a soft shell jacket to my current loadouts or a thin fleece under my usual stuff if I'm at a themed game.
  11. Probably already know the answer, but are you over 18?
  12. Riot shields are allowed at my local site providing the marshals know about it. In game they deflect bullets but are taken out by grenades (including the wielder). As for shotguns: they are best suited for CQB but can be effective in woodland provided you know your effective range. Stock length is personal preference: I prefer a short pistol grip for CQB as it makes the gun smaller and easier to manoeuvre whereas in woodland I prefer a full stock as it makes racking the pump and aiming easier.
  13. I should really stop looking at race guns... Really want to build one but no monies :/

  14. Two new CZ75 magazines. I really should stop spending money haha
  15. Is it just me or does a torch make pistols look a lot more badass?
  16. Pretty much what the other guys have said before me: airsofters tend to be a very approachable bunch. Anyway, welcome to the forums!
  17. Yeah that's with the suppressor. You can take the suppressor apart to get rid of the inner barrel inside - that's what spikes the fps to DMR levels. For mine I brought the 16mm thread adapter and used a regular short silencer I have since added some baffels to. Drastically reduces the sound output from "quiet" to "are you sure someone's even shooting at us?" FPS on green gas is around 1joule or so without the suppresor though.
  18. This is the one pistol I have (so far) kept longer than 6 months. Surprisingly good bit of kit for a very low price. Also very easy to upgrade since it takes vsr barrels and buckings. It's got to the point that I often take this to sites instead of my other more expensive rifles/pistols because of how reliable it is. Quality control isn't as great as a TM (particularly with the hop up) but the mags are much better/cheaper and don't need modifying to hold green gas. All the mods I've done have been made with the intention of getting it to be as quiet as possible and only now am I changing around the internals to squeeze even more performance out of it. Definitely worth the £60 (UK price new)/£35 (Poland) price if you get the chance to buy one. Only issues I've had are with the mags jamming - but that happens with the TM mags as well.
  19. 2x Maple 70 Degree VSR buckings @ £7.99 each including postage - eBay Table Clamp @ £4.99 - The Range Tube Cutter @ £1.99 - The Range Magnetic sheet 0.5mm width @ £1 for two sheets - The Range On a bit of a DIY mods spend today! The buckings are for my ASG mk23 pistol and my Well mb-02 sniper rifle. Looking for something that gives a bit more performance than the stock parts both do. At £7.99 a pop, and with Maple being a well recommended brand, I thought it was worth a shot. The tube cutter and table clamp are there because I intend to cut down a vsr inner barrel to fit my mk23 later on (after I acquire a barrel). The magnetic sheets will also be used to fix the feeding issue that occurs with my mk23's magazines - a single strip down one side of where the BBs sit will stop them getting trapped (or so I hope). If it doesn't work then I'm only down £1 and however long it takes me to fit them. If it works then happy days!
  20. ICS make pretty solid guns so it's going to last you a fair while. Also it's not a model you see very often so expect people to show a fair bit of interest in it when you take it out to play
  21. Thanks It's not as "yellowish" as it looks in the picture - used khaki paint. Just the lighting in the room I took the photo in is terrible.
  22. Just get a very good quality sling on it - weighs a fair bit. I use a surplus AK sling for mine.
