Pouches from the UK Tactical sale section:

(seriously - they're so cheap you'd be mental to buy anything else)

You can get orga widebores from Socom Tactical and quite a few places sell laylax ones. I wouldn't use a widebore in that gun anyway you lose a lot of fps and have work on your box to get it back.I would go for a 6.05 like the one linked below.

I was born in Izhmash factory in Russia. Thirteen year old capitalist order Russian Sniper on dark web and Sergei arrive in box. Thirteen year old not happy with this, he leave me at site. Now Sergei make living as professional soft air marksman.

Jokes aside, I think I was aware of airsoft from a young age due to scoutthedoggie's youtube channel, I'd had a JG bar10 for my 11th birthday without knowing about forums, it broke so I binned it, turned out to be the trigger sear. Then got a TM colt python for my 13th. fast foward to when I was 16, I had some extra money, thought I'm big enough now to go to one of these sites by myself and see if I like the game. Long story short spent £500 or so on gear before I'd even been, turned up at site, loved it, decided I wanted a loadout based on a real unit, sold all my stuff then spent over a grand to get where I am now, which is as usualy, inbetween bloody loadouts lol.

If the gun was sent by standard 1st class post that may be why it was seized. RM rules for rifs states 1st class signed for as a minimum requirement.

Welcome to the UK - that about sums us up.

As its not illegal to own RIFs, I cant see the value of UKARA for you.

However, you will need to satisfy HM customs at your port of entry.

I would carry evidence of your Dutch airsofting experience such as photos, site memberships and your ID card and declare yourself at the customs, explaining the situation.

If you are open and honest, you should be okay.

You will eventually need UKARA if you want somebody to sell you more RIFs when you live here.

I think Holland also has lower fps limits ?

The possibility that immediately springs to mind is that the postal service has seized the package, as has happened quite a lot with GBB pistol sales in recent times. Gas containers are on the prohibited items list for sending through the post and they've been cracking down on gas mags for airsoft. Did you send it via the post office? If so, there's very much a chance they've taken both the gun and the mag as for some reason they have this horrendously shitty policy of taking (and eventually destroying) everything in a package that includes a gas mag, even though there's nothing wrong with sending the RIF itself.

Metal reciever yes. Metal is rather glossy however feels nice, solid gun. Internals are just as the Double Eagle shotguns and pretty good range however you can't use anything but 0.20g bb's otherwise range is rather short (fixed hop-up). Throws 0.20g bb's a good 35-40 metres though.

So I was at a game earlier today and I was told by a lad (with his friends then crowding around and nodding in agreement), that I had "the coolest shotgun in Scotland"

Thanked him and his friends for the compliment but what do you guys think?

Get yourself on eBay, when you need small amounts of material supplies like velcro, tape, batteries, zip ties, small tools etc etc it's the easiest way to get hold of stuff.

Should be able to find some 3M branded high strength sticky-backed stuff that'll stay put.

The Warrior RICAS is a repro so we've got some kinda gear clone-ception going on there. Handy when these circumstances crop up though.

Having sold the mk12/18 hybrid last night....i kinda wanted something new...which is when a mate of mine text me to say he had found out his missus was pregnant and he needed to sell off some of his stuff. So I popped round tonight and ended up walking away with

Cyma 046 with the tactical set (as well as the wood) and folding foregrip
    3 high cap mags
    2 batteries
Repro warrior ricas compact with fast pistol mag holders

And then as i was leaving he threw his broken AA g17 at me and told me to use it incase I needed parts for mine...all for

    £160

Seriously though a lot a cheap sights aren't designed with gas blowback guns in mind so actually the answer isn't as daft as it sounds. Have a look at the higher end ones and maybe at sights listed for airguns/target shooting.

Right, you've misunderstood - the battery charger is powered by the car battery, you don't try and charge the LiPo directly from the car battery.

All this talk is of moot point anyway, Managed to try one out, as I was genuinely considering buying one. Won't cycle with a KJ Green mag, slide is too heavy. CO2 mag, even after bleeding off the first few shots of gas, was doing 375fps in a 20 degree room. Not Skirmishable.

I guess its aimed at real world training to look and feel identical to the real steel. Crazy price as said, probably more than a real one. Airsoft stuff is often overpriced though.
I owned an AK74 air rifle some years ago which was real steel Izhmash, built in the factory but with a blank barrel and a 4.5mm bb barrel where the cleaning rod would be, allied to a russian CO2 bb air pistol fitted in place of the normal trigger mechanism, and the lower half of the original bolt cut away to fit over the pistol. Cost was under £400 brand new. Wish I'd kept that one!

I'm surprised there's no mid-cap mags on the market that have a little LED or similar to indicate when running low or out (seen a few peoples own bespoke creations but thats it)
