  1. http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/parts-c8/pistol-parts-c104/we-airsoft-europe-we-airsoft-europe-eu-g-series-mag-lip-p4652 http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/clothing-combat-gear-c4/holsters-leg-platforms-c92/we-airsoft-europe-we-airsoft-europe-nuprol-molle-adapter-p4650 Just discovered the above parts are available and wondered if existing IMI accessories (specifically the MOLLE adapter / clip) will work with the WE NUPROL 'G' / 'EU' series (Glock) paddle holsters? The genuine IMI one is only £8 yet the NUPROL one from LWA is £10 before postage! Secondly, I broke my Glock magazine the first day I bought it Dropped it on concrete floor whilst skirmishing Will post pictures later so the problem is more obvious, but the follower now only travels most of the way up the magazine then gets stuck. It also doesn't feed anymore because the follower and BBs get stuck near the top. So yeah seems really unlikely it would be possible to fix but if anyone could suggest anything it may help and I was thinking buying replacement feed lips could work... If not they're spares for the other new one I'll have to buy. Cheers in advance as well
  2. Yeah, totally doesn't make sense for them to do this based on their interpretation of legality in regards to gun laws (but, I bet it is why they're doing it) Same with the ITAR regulation thing in the US. Understandably they don't want to ship gun parts to countries where firearms ownership laws are more restrictive...but when it encompasses literally almost everything remotely gun-related, you realise it's stupid. Like, you can't even buy something like a foregrip or handguard due to it.
  3. I've never been charged import duty / tax etc by customs. Generally I think good advice is to try and keep orders under £50 to avoid them, although apparently you are supposed to be subject to tax over £10 or so. Retailers usually declare the contents as being worth a lot less than you actually paid to avoid charges.
  4. Pretty sure it's origin is Jordan, and I've seen a Chinese clone set on Airsoft Club.
  5. Yeah uh would've been a better idea to ask...ya know before buying em but no worries they're good guns Btw we usually just say WE, it's Americans who call em WE-Tech
  6. Rubbing alcohol, I think it's 91%? People have recommended silicone oil for a long time (must be the 100% stuff) but it's a lubricant rather than a cleaner so may not work as well as the alcohol
  7. So it's basically speedsoft. Accidentally came across videos of it on YT before, being played in the Phillipines, and there are a lot of cheaters and stupid stuff going on. Not to say the same would happen here though. Looks similar to Halo Mill in that's it's small and a purpose built arena style and you have the opportunity to be fast paced and use tactics like that. IMO it would be fun to play as a game mode but for me I'd rather just play ordinary airsoft and mix it up with elements of this. Judging by the popularity of Halo Mill (although of course I would say advertising has played a key factor in the business - seemingly they have attracted a lot more newer players as, amongst other things, the site is conveniently open on weekdays) it probably would take off. I think it would be popular with younger players too, again because of the availability when compared to traditional airsoft and people thinking they need a lot of gear to start off etc. Should mention I do prefer woodland skirmishes as opposed to indoor games at a place like Halo though.
  8. Pistols are fun, but wouldn't recommend buying one as a beginner. They're not exactly necessary if you have a rifle and the money can go on more essential kit for starting off; magazines, batteries, gear... With a lot -if not all- Umarex guns, they're simply re-branded and licenced versions of existing ones, which are like twice the price. Not saying you don't already do this but it's worth considering how long these people reviewing guns have actually owned them and their own experience and if it's a retailer who's advertising them. I say that because I'm sure I've heard bad things about the Umarex MP5 which would conflict with what you've heard. Personally I'd recommend a G&G MP5 which are around £130, add another £30 for a good quality battery & charger (which really you should buy anyway because ones included with guns are cheap) If the velocity is too high then you can simply install a new spring, but of course this is not something you really wanna do with a new gun especially if you're new. It seems retailers take advantage of this and some places like to charge £30+ which I think is just for the fitting. Hope this helps, welcome to the forum as well by the way Check out the guides (such as Ian_Gere's Guide to Noobism, at least I think that's what it's called) on here which are really useful as well
  9. So I wanted a Tippmann M4 in the future as an alternative to gas & cheaper than P* / SMP. Thought though if it would be possible to actually get a Daytona gun that would be amazing given the insane recoil as well...and yes it would be expensive af but the uniqueness is so appealing. Thing is doesn't seem like you can easily get WA or G&P GBB M4s here? and if so they are a lot as well

There are always a fair few WA platform GBBRs sitting on the Zeroin forums. Shouldn't be too hard to find one - that's where my one came from. As a donor you won't need to worry about much except for the externals. The Daytona kit will replace the hop and all of the usual parts. You'll just want a decent wide bore barrel and make sure the rest is in alright nick. Anyhoo, you'll be buying the DaytonGun Kit from abroad anyway, right? If so, you could buy a WOC challenge kit...

Er, those are just the kits. Tony won't provide the donor for you - you've got to buy one yourself.

  10. Yeah there are so many different guns and gear and then places to buy them so read up on the guides. Wish I'd seen them when I was starting off, definitely help a lot.
  11. Yeah I'm a member and it's my regular site Can't compare it to any other cqb places, I'd say it's pretty good though - just really small and it's a dedicated arena rather than an old building which would be better Looks like it will take a while to get here but as far as I know it's the only place to do weekdays so not much choice unfortunately Worth a shot coming down at some point and seeing what you think Safe zone facilities and marshalling are good If it's still the same offer as it used to be (I'm member number 15 so joined right from the start) then membership is a pretty good deal as you get Patrol Base voucher and training session Plus it's half price when you renew Hope this was useful mate and if there's owt else to know I can probably help out, but tbh don't get to play airsoft as much as like and moving soon so will be less convenient to go there as well.
  12. Yeah what Frizzle said.
  13. The hop on mine definitely works, isn't the most noticeable though. There are aftermarket parts available like a Madbull TBB, but from what I've heard there isn't much of a upgrade to warrant spending 20 quid on one. You can buy replacement hop rubbers as well although tbh just giving the gun a good clean and using the optimum weight BB (probably .25s) does the most for performance.
  14. Shouldn't need modification for an EOTech, if anything the holographic and front sight post will co-witness? I have a red dot sight on my M4 and it doesn't get in the way.

I'm really trying to cut down and go easy now, money is getting a bit tight but also I have run out of hiding places ffs

  15. Yeah I've ordered from Airsoft Club, not one of the best IMO because of shipping price & website, I'd go to Airsoft Peak etc first...but they're definitely legit.
  16. Welcome to the forum mate
  17. don't feel worthy after the last few posts but I bought an ACM / Lancer Tactical PT plate carrier and some Guarder grease off TaiwanGun for 27 quid
  18. Welcome to the forum mate, just depends what exactly you mean by a fortune. I know paintball markers are pretty expensive as well but not sure what kind of budget you'll be looking at. Also are there are particular guns you like the look of? I wanna point out gas isn't the best thing to go for if you are just starting - usually because of people's inexperience and not having the commitment to maintain em all the time, but also cos they are so expensive. From what I know WE are quite a 'go-to' brand for GBBRs as they're probably the most inexpensive, and they do M4s / SCARs / L85A2 etc. PTS just came out with a Magpul Masada for £360 IIRC. Honestly you're looking at least 250 that's basically the cheapest you're gonna get a gas rifle. You might wanna consider a Tippmann M4 as they can be run on HPA like a paintball gun, potentially you could use some of your existing pball gear for that rather than spending £50+ on a new one. They're 400 quid...but it's cheap compared to SMP / P* setups which are drop in replacements for the standard gearbox in an AEG yet cost about as much as the Tippmann alone just for the fusion engine unit. In all I'd say start off with a JG G36 / G&G Combat Machine M4 / CYMA AK (the top three recommended beginner electric guns) to get a feel for it and so you're able to play with your own gun. Then you could move up to something better or upgrade it. Alternatively, go and hire for a few games, you're not gonna have spent a load on your own gun only to find out you don't enjoy it. Spring are worthless (only for backyard plinking) unless you mean sniper rifles, but even they aren't worth the money (you need to spend a lot on upgrades to make them really good, otherwise performance is as same as an AEG but you're limited by mag capacity and rate of fire etc) Hope this helps
  19. We recommend to never buy from the 'BB gun' sites. Especially this Mark 1 place, never heard of it. Seems very dodgy
  20. Still though $50 is only gonna be about £35 and that is for both the shirt and pants. Personally hate that V-Cam, but have a look at Emerson as well anyway as they do Crye G3 replicas for a similar price.
  21. Yeah I thought UTG was weird, guessed it was a US market rebrand and yeah turns out is the same as the WELL / Warrior MB01.
  22. Hey guys, slightly f*cked off cos I've wanted this (http://www.platatac.com/platatac-de-bag.html) for ages whilst it was on sale... Was gonna order it soon an orl, but as you can see now they're all out of stock :/ Was wondering if anybody could point me towards a similar maybe tactical-ish bag with a pretty large capacity. I'm thinking mainly for carrying a plate carrier and/or chest rig / other clothes...maintenance / cleaning kit (maybe fit my TM High Cycle AUG I'll be getting in there too) etc. I guess tbh I wouldn't fill it all, although milsim / weekend ops are a possibility for the future. And it would serve as a general bag to keep all my sh*t in when not going to a skirmish too. Finally, would want it at a similar price ~£45 or preferably cheaper.
  23. Can any TM HC AUG owners tell me if the front rail is removable? Decided to get one rather than a JG AUG A2

Good luck finding a phantom kit in stock anywhere, I heard that they'd been discontinued

  24. Nope haha I didn't, sorry, but since it's from HK so you're probably still gonna get hit with 20% customs tax at least....so still another £18-£20 on top of that
