  1. Looks like a decent website....but if they're calling them "BB guns" I don't wanna buy from them. Yup as said before definitely aiming at a budget two tone market. Do you want guns for 'backgaerdn wars' or actual airsofting / skirmishes? Because if so there are loads of better retailers tbf.
  2. Mags for em are expensive, and it's hard to find midcaps
  3. Look at batteries on Component-Shop. Idk about the best but on there any of the brands should be good.
  4. Had PC repaired, finally...actually should've said yes to saving bookmarks. It's quite annoying not having them :|

  5. The WELL MB-01 (Warrior L96) is a very good gun, but obviously will need upgrades. No sniper rifles are good out of the box. They're one of the sniper rifles I recommend, alongside the JG BAR-10, which is a replica of the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 (I'd get the TM if you have the money) I have an A&K M24, which comes with some good internals, but unfortunately I haven't had a chance to skirmish it yet. Nor have I got round to doing a review which I said I'd do, but disassembly proves harder than anticipated. Also I can't compare the performance to other sniper rifles since I have never shot any others. If you wait until you've got your defence, order from a Polish retailer like TaiwanGun or Gunfire.pl and you'll be able to get it a lot cheaper than in the UK. Although there is £12 for shipping, they're only like 80 euros or something anyway. But as Monty said, a bolt action isn't really the best choice to be honest. You'll see a lot of airsofters recommend against it for obvious kind of reasons. First off you're outgunned by basically everyone. As said above the need upgrades, otherwise performance won't be as you might expect. The same, or if not worse than an AEG in terms of range / accuracy. Only once you've spent quite a bit extra on them can you really see a proper improvement and advantage for using one over an AEG. But, that said, they are more fun and satisfying to use etc. Another thing is that you might not find the play style enjoyable. Sniping is gonna involve sitting back, waiting for targets, whereas with anything else you can be up close in the action which is what most people want to experience and the thought is you won't get what you are expecting out of a skirmish using a bolt action rifle if you see what I'm saying. +1 for a G&G Combat Machine though. Without a doubt the best you can get for your money, number 1 recommended gun on here. We always say new players should get one because they're great for the price. Wish I'd known about them earlier and bought one myself, but rushed it and got a rubbish CYMA. Best places to look are probably Land Warrior Airsoft, Airsoft World or Zero One Airsoft. The latter will have the best selection and according to their website the best prices on all G&G guns too. Not only that but you also get a free skirmish voucher with your purchase. Pro Airsoft Supplies did a transparent (therefore VCR Act compliant, no defence necessary) G&G CM16 and a package / bundle with the gun and a battery / charger for £120 but they might all be out of stock. Same with Colchester Airsoft, but also sold out when I last checked. Hope this helped mate and welcome to the forum!
  6. +1 for a KWA RM4 or TM Recoil.
  7. Sounds good to me if it's in good condition. especially if it's with pouches, but depends what brand they are / if you need them etc.
  8. Excellent, quite a few guys on here have em. Available in loads of camo patterns too. I know when I'm earning a bit more I am going to be too tempted to buy one for every loadout I want (e.g. A-TACS AU and FG, black for my indoor loadout which is WIP etc) Everything else is either only slightly cheaper or a lot more, so it's probably the best value for money PC you can get, considering the quality and price of other PCs that are inferior. For example Flyye ones are from around £70 (for a FAPC) up to around £300 for some. Instead of getting a FAPC you might as well pay another £30 for a DCS (unless you specifically want a minimalist style carrier) or on the other end of the scale £300 is way too much to pay (you could actually get a Crye one for that - but can't remember off top of me head which one it is)
  9. Blackhawk Warrior Wear Performance trousers x2 £16 for both All good reviews and they're like £30 each new
  10. If it's $400 then you're looking at around £250 + £50 tax, probably £12.50 import duty, like £30 shipping, £15 courier fee thing. May as well just get it from the UK. I know there's The Grange and a paintball site who stocks them, don't know about anywhere else.
  11. It got loads of bad reviews, and it's like 2 years old.
  12. What's your budget? I mean are you usually getting milspec stuff like HSGI / Grey Ghost / Tactical Tailor / Warrior AS / BLACKHAWK etc? I think the Condor battle belts come in different sizes, and are only ~£20-£33 each. There's also the BLACKHAWK Patrol Belts which Edgar Brothers sell on their eBay account for £12.50 including postage, and there are different sizes (including small)
  13. Coyote tan is different to coyote brown through I'm sure I've seen some somewhere man, will keep a look out and search for some tommorow
  14. Drop leg thigh rig / platform? There are viper ones for about £17/£18 or so on eBay.
  15. There's actually the G&G 30th Anniversary Edition rifles at Zero One and also Land Warrior Airsoft I believe. They're £150 each but that's not that much more than the cheapest standard Combat Machine CM16 (£100-£120) I think the Combat Machine range goes up to about £200, which are followed by the Intermediate line then Top Tech guns. The thing about this 30th Anniversary Ed is that it also has a metal receiver. So I think it's especially good value for money. In terms of performance and quality they are probably the best you can get for the price, which explains why we are always recommending them You do need to buy a battery and charger with them as well, probably another £20 up to £50 max, for good ones. I agree metal is overrated, in terms of sturdiness and build plastic guns are absolutely fine (unless you're looking at cheap shite under £100 AEGs) G&Gs for example are nylon fibre reinforced polymer, no creaky stuff. I'm not sure about G&G metal construction but I'd imagine it's okay. Heard a story once a guy dropped one of his guns (dunno of the brand) out of his loft IIRC and the metal receiver actually snapped :0
  16. Best rifles IMO are Tokyo Marui VSR, JG BAR-10 (VSR clone, compatible with all TM VSR upgrades, which there are a lot of) Another good gun is the WELL MB-01 (AKA Warrior L96) Best getting them from Gunfire or TaiwanGun (Polish retailers) cos it's much cheaper and you don't have import duty or anything else to pay unlike outside the EU.
  17. Yeah USD as standard but I think there's an option to change to Sterling. I dunno about UKARA, I don't think people ask for them to write UKARA numbers on the box (like we do for European orders) If it's just magazines there is no problem (doesn't apply to them) I ordered a couple PMAGs recently.
  18. Looks like Ant-Supplies is the best place to buy it from, Patrol Base delivery will be like £4-£5 I bet.
  19. I think they are all very similar in quality and everything. There are just different designs. I would recommend these ... http://www.airsoftpeak.com/army-6019-plastic-knife-training-black-p-14336.html http://www.airsoftpeak.com/army-6014-plastic-knife-training-black-p-14334.html But I guess they won't come for Christmas? I've ordered from them before, very good, first order seemed like only a week or two, then the others took about a month - as you'd expect from Asia This one on the other hand is from Huddersfield store Patrol Base. It's my local shop and I can recommend it. http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-external-parts/ley-industrial-m9-military-combat-training-knife-rubber-blade.htm#.VH4d9DGsXWg
  20. MAG are good. King Arms too I think. eHobby Asia could be a good place to look. When I last checked they have a load of different brands and types of magazines.
  21. There are lots of browser site creators which are easy to use like webs. Just search free website maker or something. As M_P said, Facebook would be a lot quicker and easier though. To me it seems unnecessary to build a website unless you're a really group popular or something.
  22. Nice job, looks good!
  23. USMC MultiCam? If you're looking for a lightweight loadout I'd recommend a minimalist plate carrier such as a Flyye Gen 1 FAPC or a chest rig like the Tactical Tailor Mini MAV. The one you're looking at could be good if it works out cheap though. It's TMC so I'm not sure how good the quality will be.
  24. Fck it it's 4 quid not expecting much
  25. Ainsley Harriott: 100 Meals In Minutes - £2.59 (eBay) Mechanix MC Fast Fit Gloves - £12.95 (UK Tactical) I haven't bought these but they're Christmas presents for me - COD: AW - Atlas Limited Edition - £39.99 (GAME) BF4 Prima Strategy Guide - £3.99 (GAME)
