  1. Not sure if they still do it, but it used to be the case that if you have damaged or missing parts you could send them the damaged parts with the barcode from the box and they will replace them for free.
  2. Microsoft security essentials works absolutely fine for me. Ditto Windows firewall. It's as much about being careful where you point your browser and not opening blind links in unsolicited email.
  3. Airsoft zone have the gen2 in stock.
  4. HTH
  5. Norton? *sucks through teeth* well...THERE'S your problem. Seriously though, Norton is a massive resource hog that works little to no better than the free antivirus packages out there. Some companies actually class it as malware because it's so difficult to get rid of.
  6. Welcome to the spend/excite/disappoint cycle that is airsoft. As long as the "that's exactly what I wanted" part out weighs the "fuck me I paid xxx for THIS" then you're laughing.
  7. Dammit. I've just found their "Sci-Fi" section. How the hell am I supposed to save to go on holiday now?
  8. In general the M93r is a bonkers load of fun in one tidy little package. The KWA one that I had a look at seems quite nicely put together and a reasonable weight (metal slide, polymer frame). Generally a well thought of brand. I'm considering getting one myself to be honest.
  9. Viper Tactical Molle torch http://www.vipertacticalshop.co.uk/viper-tactical-molle-torch.html?cookies_accepted=Y Bright enough to navigate by, not a searchlight. Mid skirmish the only attachment I need to add or remove is a tracer which I can do blind because I know where the pouch is on my rig and I know where the end of my gun is (it has a QD thread on the flash hider to make life easier).
  10. Which is the WHOLE point in my eyes. If you like the look of it then go for it. Ares have a bot of a reputation for unreliable internals but the current amoeba series seem to be addressing that as they are selling well. The thing to bear in mind about the Honey Badger is that it's an M4 at heart with a different stock and a suppressor sunk back inside the handguard. I think they look quite nice regardless of how aesthetically accurate they may or may not be. As far as I am aware the actual Honey Badger hasn't made it into mass production anyway so it's not like there's loads of real ones about to compare to.
  11. Dismounting to fight makes you Dragoons or mounted infantry. Firing from horseback would still qualify you as cavalry though (which is after all, where carbines started).
  12. Larp stuff usually has a stiff core so you can twat each other with them without completely knackering them. Unfortunately for most sites that means they're TOO stiff. Of course that hasn't stopped someone at the Malls getting 18 kills with a dildo.
  13. If you want an ACTUAL honey badger replica it's your only choice at the minute. If you want an M4 based gun then the world is your oyster, there's feckin hundreds out there.
  14. It's OK, just a bit of lighthearted ribbing Personally I've yet to find a SCAR with a tracer on to be too long to use in CQB so I don't entirely subscribe to the whole "must have short gun for indoors" idea. I still want an MP5 SD6, an MP5K and a P90 but more cos I think they're cool....
  15. Well. That's shit. Whoever designs these things?
  16. I thought SA80's took standard STANAG mags? In which case you can use it in an M4 no problem (assuming they feed OK).
  17. Surely by that train of thought you should be looking at a FiveSeven and a P90?
  18. That. It's a coiled spring but to be honest, mine works OK. Just lucky I guess. Haven't tried using a high cap STANAG yet on account of how there's only SO much winding I can do before I get bored!
  19. Gaffa tape is like the force. It has a light side and a dark side and it holds the universe together.
  20. You'd be surprised. Waste recycling facilities actually hand sort a lot of what you throw away. Which is why you should ALWAYS shred your personal documents before you chuck them in your bin.
  21. Can't hit the side of a barn from the inside.
  22. Smash it with a hammer, throw it in the bin. /thread
  23. New patch. Cos I can.
  24. So the day one reviews haven't been as stellar as I would have hoped. Anyone actually been playing? From the video I've seen of day one gameplay I'm happy to wait for this on PC as the controls seem a bit clumsy (not a fan of shooters on console anyway to be frank) and hopefully the world will end up a bit better populated.
