Dytac quality was always a bit hit and miss. Buddy of mine has an old Invader that has been absolutely faultless for a good long while but there's others that have just shat themselves out of the box. What their new lines are like is a mystery.

Buddy of mine had one of the original Striker and the bolt handle and end cap literally came off in his hand after a few shots! I thought it had been addressed in later models though to be fair.

Most likely "weak" as in poor performance not weak as in "not robust". They'll be fine. Run them until they do break, THEN put higher quality motors in.

I'd say the barrel nut is bottoming out before it's properly clamped the barrel then. You need to shim the barrel between the receiver and the barrel flange or the nut itself so it doesn't run out of threads before it's properly tight.

Some, but not all. I had a Socom Gear M9A1 and it was pretty decent. They'd added an adjustable hop and tight bore barrel that the WE didn't have.

It's really only required if you have stored your mags with no gas in or used a very dry gas or propane all of which can contribute to your seals drying out.

Yeah....no. Howard Leights are very good, but also check out the Earmor range. I have the M32H helmet mounted ones and they're very good.
