I keep reading about these and have been asked by our milsim players if they can use them.

So I went to Airsoft World who are the UK distributor and asked them about the legality.

    They said

"The CE certificates have been pending since we stocked them at Airsoft World. That means they were accepted but we haven't had a physical copy in our hands. That is... until now.

In regards to the legality of the rifling and the manner in which they are launched:

    1. The rifling is inverted.
    2. The barrel is plastic and not metal, therefore incapable of withstanding an explosive charge.
    3. The projectile is not fire by explosive charge.
    4. The explosive in both the Reaper and Archangels are certified as 1.4S (The lowest hazard rating for explosives).

We obviously had to do our research deep into these before making them available on the market. We met with the guys at IWA and put the plans in place, it took a while... but these are well worth the effort!"

Its based around a Baofeng radio which we have licenced frequencies for.

    Seems a sensible approach.
If you have observed the community through social media you will see that the community is like any other - a mixed bag.

Best to go play a game, rent gear and observe first hand. That way, you arent committing much.

Hi guys, I'm forever lurking on this forum so I'd thought I'd create an account!

My friend and I have been playing for around 2-3 months now and we absolutely love it to bits..
We've tried Apocalypse Airsoft and Billericay but thoroughly enjoyed Billericay a lot more.. Not saying Apocalypse isn't good or anything, but Billericay suited us better!

I'm running British DPM right now as my father is ex-Military and has contacts in the TA and such to get on the cheap-side (FREE!)

    Anyway, hello!

    Hello all,
I would like to introduce you all to my primary BB slinger, this is Katya. She is a King Arms Snaiperskaia Vintovka Dragunova, aka SVD.
I have always liked the SVD ever since seeing it in Metal Gear Solid, shes such a perdy piece of kit.
I finally got around to attaching the scope. It was a bit difficult but shes on there and she looks lovely.
    Say Hi!

There are lots of Airsoft online shops selling G&G rifles. Sometimes its good to buy locally for a few quid extra as you can go back to them if there are any problems. Pistols are of questionable use in a game but if you just want one, then have a look at the WE range or the TOKYO MARUI, the latter being better, dearer but plastic.

I think it would be quite nice if gas guns did ignite their propellant at the muzzle - maybe something like a turbofan with lighter flints set in it, enclosed in a circular bearing type race but with a rough track, hidden inside the flash hider*, obviously with a hole through the centre for the BB to pass through. When it spins sparks would exit the muzzle with the propane and as it mixes with air, ignite - instant muzzle flash.

*It would need to be hidden inside pistols and the slides would need to be redesigned to pass back over a wider assembly than just the barrel to allow GBB, but not impossible to do.

Ignited clouds of propane do not set fire to things unless they are highly flammable, unlike the flame from cordite for eg.

A tiny battery powered heater built into mags to maintain operating temp in the cold and muzzle flash - I'd be converted to GBBR's instantly.

    Good shop and very helpful.

Cant be bothered with shops that think they are doing you a favour selling to you.

Lifes too short to put up with bad customer service,

I didn't know about the Mall - never played there - never likely to.

The OP has got her present so problem sorted.

Out of interest, Ive got one of the knives linked to. Of course, they are bendy plastic not rubber.
The silly thing is that you would struggle to hurt anybody with a Cold Steel knife, You would break a rib or give them blunt instrument trauma before penetrating the skin. Have you actually seen one close up ?

The above linked knives have a nasty point on them, Could do a lot more damage if you held the blade rather than the hilt. They also never look straight because the blade plastic is bendy along its length.

News to me. The three I have are blunt and broad edged. About as dangerous as a piece of 2x4.
Most sites say you can only tap with the flat edge any way.
