  4. Then again, what isn't? Other than orange.
  5. I'm not sure if a Kryptek MP5K would look very good though :/
  6. I hope that nobody has posted a link to the EXCELLENT "Ian's guide to noobism on a tight budget" yet.

Air is a mixture of gases, but a gas is not air.

      Tariq

Gas guns are not technically speaking pure CO2 or Propane propelled. They only expand to equalise the pressure with the air. They are also mixed with the air around it as doing so, just adjusting the "air" mixture content to majority co2/propane ballance. Thus, air powered.

The only possible way to get pure co2/propane power is shooting in a vacuum.

Its still the C02 canister you fill it with that is the main gas. As air is mainly nitrogen. So the main gas used to to make the gun cycle is CO2 it is therefore C02 powered. Anyway you have changed your arguement from the original point. Lets stay on the fact the website is wrong and agree they need a slap

  9. I put up a picture of one of my friends at The Fort on Sunday on r/PhotoshopBattles the other night. Here's what redditors came up with: Original Image: Made it like a movie Good job guys! Killed by DickButt96 Tactical Tooting! *My personal favourite*

  11. I personally use these, which are exactly the same goggles that LWA sell (link to them if you're interested). They have withstood damage for almost a year now, which I am quite amazed by given the price that I payed. That said, as you are new to airsoft, I would invest in a full face mask. Mesh eyewear is also preferable, at least for me, because it removes the need for any antifogging equipment for your glasses. A few pieces of eyewear that I would recommend are linked below: If you want a pair of goggles If you want a good over head mask (My recommendation for new players) If you want to wear glasses (or the goggles you originally suggested), buy one of these too. They stop you getting shot in the mouth. Neoprene face masks, such as the one that I wear (see picture in my signature), also comfort face shots.
  12. Why would it not surprise you that AW would suggest it?
  13. I was having a chat with some of the guys at my local airsoft site (The Fort) last weekend, and they questioned why I still use a bright green MP5K. I told them that I'm not 18 until December, so can't legally paint my gun until then. At this point, one of the marshals- who also works at Airsoft World- came over and told me that apparently camouflages such as Kryptek *I've pictured it below, in case you don't know what I'm on about* count as two tone on guns, because these new camouflages are (at least currently) not used to camouflage real steel weapons. Are there any truth in these words?
  14. MP5 OWNERS! Does anyone know what brand of scope mount is the best?

Brand doesn't matter, just avoid the long mount as the side arms block the rail so you can't mount longer sights.

(my MP5K has no RIS rails on it yet)

I'm looking at getting a claw mount thinggy (such as this: http://tinyurl.com/mp5rail).

Only problem is, I'm unsure if it will fit my CYMA MP5K. Anyone know anything about this?

    4. Russe11

      Russe11

It should do, its a standard fitting across MP5's and G3's. As long as you have the 2 pairs of protrusions on the side for it to clamp to you're fine.

  15. I wish to apologize about any confusion caused about my recent post about a new CQB site in Aberdeen. I just found that I had been misinformed. It's in Dundee

  16. Has anyone heard anything about the new indoor site in Aberdeen? If so, please let me know if it is any good!

  18. What do Americans have against mesh goggles? I've been looking at a few site rules over there (don't ask why) and have noticed that every single one has a rule of "no mesh googles". Can anyone offer me an insight into why?

  20. Anyone have any experience with the ASG AUG A1- the one with the scope? Can you let me know if they are any good?

    1. jay83

      jay83

im afraid if you buy an AUG we all may have to group together and burn you at some kind of stake. Jus joking.

Not heard to much about these very unknown.

    2. Airsoft_Mr B

      Airsoft_Mr B

I think it's pretty good actually. Manufactured by JG. Parts are hard to find for AUGs though. I would recommend a steel feed nozzle available from Airsoft World I believe because the stock one will wear down.

  21. Off to Fife Wargames tomorrow for the first time since November last year. Ever since they started playing the same weekends as my other local site, I have kinda stopped going.
