  1. He's still trying to sell it all for £420 & the little prick is calling me illiterate from my comment

I'm thinking a trip to Gloucester is in order to tell him not to be such a keyboard warrior & no I will not get nasty or violent with a 14 year old

He's the worst sort of person that decides to angry with people who try to help him sell it. Therefore, it is no longer worth my oxygen to try and explain why he should lower his price

  2. Yeah I had a go at him earlier too as I don't like to see anyone get ripped off. He was trying to sell 45 raffle tickets at £10 earlier on the Russian loadouts page for it but admin deleted it.

Saw that. The original guy who did it with the Russian vest had the right idea, but this guy was taking the piss. I hope that he was an idiot who doesn't understand value rather than someone trying to knowingly rip off people in the airsoft community

  3. No the gun was advertised as a 300fps 2tone shop brought but when chorno'd it was down at approx 200fps. It was an M4 carbine

Some retailers are known to lie *cough* JBBG *cough*, and dont't look at the type of gun, look at the manufacturer of the airsoft gun. I had a two tone G&G CM16 and it shot at 328 fps. The gun that was chrono'd was most likely a bad brand of airsoft gun like a double eagle or well.

    • My main point is towards the game sites validating the young person swell even if it was a longer period to make sure they played the sport, i was at a site on the weekend and a kid had a two tone but it wasn't powerful enough (approx 200fps two tone) he got shot all day long by 300+ fps rif guns. Also stated that the parents would be held responsible to any miss use.

You'll find that it was probably a gun that wasn't good enough for airsoft anyway. As long as you stick to trusted brands, painting it won't make a difference.

Parents can GIFT a gun to an under 18 because it's not technically selling. An under 18 UKARA wouldn't work as the parent wouldn't have a defence in buying the gun. Only you, and unfortunately, the law is the law and that's technically illegal, despite being somewhat justifiable in my eyes if I knew the said under 18 was gonna use it for airsoft.

  5. That does look dodgy. It looks like the spring that holds the latch isn't working properly, but that said, my spring feels fine but nonetheless it is possible to force the button to jam by pressing it in too far - it comes out again without much trouble, but maybe yours is jamming too? If jiggling it doesn't make it align properly you might try some oil...

I can't get the button to jam in, nor can I push the latch further in so it looks like the spring is fine, but to me, it looks like the stock is not getting enough grip on the latch to stay properly.

  6. No idea about spares, mate.

I'm pretty sure that it isn't the pin that causes the problem - i mean, it'd have to be such an obvious flaw, ie being too thin, for it to be the pin at fault - surely the manufacturer would have sussed and sorted it out? I spose you'd be able to tell on your own gun though - does it wobble when the stock is unlocked from the catch, when it's just the pin holding it? I've just checked my E&L and it's rock solid, but it also seems unlikely that the bit of the stock which locks with the catch could become bent, or the catch itself - i'd imagine that the welds holding the stock together would fail first, so i dunno, maybe the pin on yours is moody...

Sorry it took me so long to reply, but it looks like the latch might be bent or isn't sitting where it should properly? It seems to stick out a bit.

  7. I think the only way forward is to change either the catch or the bit of the stock it locks past. It depends on which make you have though whether you could do that by bending part of the stock, or whether you'd need to actually replace something.

Ah, I assumed it was the pin between the stock and receiver. do E&L do replacement parts for their 105's?

  8. Well, if I pay cost, ie what they would cost including shipping, then that gives you your money back. But you'll have to pay the postage to me from your gaff, because obviously I'm not going to pay more than what I could get them for from gunfire.pl myself, eh...

Do you want them then? Because my plan was to just spray paint them

  9. Bought a 9.6v stick type battery and smart charger for my AK.

Also did an order from gunfire for a speed loader, sling and 6 AK mags. Everything got dispatched today, before realising that the mag colour was brown, not black  100% sure I chose black though, but black is now out of stock, so wondering if they changed my order?

  10. If you really want to change the FPS, buy a gun with a quick change spring system. But personally, I think you're overcomplicating it.

Don't dive straight into the deep end and buy a relatively simple and easy to use gun (check out Ian Gere's beginner guide).

All FPS really does is change the time it takes to hit the target. Accuracy and range is more affected by the barrel size and the hop-up.

300 FPS is a good start, you don't really need any more as the benefits will be negligible and will allow to shoot people without hurting them as much :)

  11. Yeah I would definitely wear full face mask.

So is the pain caused down to the size of the BB rather than the fps? If so, how much would it hurt to use .12 bbs with the 270fps pistol wearing baggy clothes, face mask and from about 10-15m range?

The pain is more down to the Joule (energy) which is travelling behind the BB and where you get hit. The heavier the BB is and the higher it's FPS. The more kinetic energy it will have. Also, getting shot somewhere sensitive like fingers or your gonads will hurt a lot more than getting shot in the chest.

  12. Pointless vehicle. Can't see them being used in game by many as they have no way of measuring where they will land and using it as a direct fire vehicle will result in their immediate demise.

  13. I've had my WE G18C for almost 2 years now and it's great. Bear in mind that having the gun on full auto will spray your entire mag in just about every direction possible. It will also give you a nasty cold burn if you don't wear gloves. I've also heard stories of people using full auto end up breaking parts inside the gun. Maybe they got lemons, who knows? I haven't had any problems so far, but I've never gone full auto for more than a quick burst.
