I saw an enemy on the other side of a door, we couldn't shoot each other without being out, so I threw a grenade into the corner of a door frame, hoping it would bounce and land where he was standing. But no, it bounced back towards me and I stood there dumbfounded whilst everyone laughed at me. Happy times

I got some 30mm thick Perspex discs to cover my scope lens instead of the other space wasting lens cover I had. (thanks proffink)
I've also bought some shims, a g&g green and some sorbo pads for my sr25. Pulled it apart today and noticed my sr25 already had sorbo padding in it. AoE has already been done which is a bonus. While my gearbox is open, I'm wondering whether or not I should hard wire the mosfet in?

Your KAC triple tap brake is off, the centre most cut of those grooves that run in line with the axis of the bore should be at 12 o/clock ideally. If you're not bothered then hey no matter, just FYI.
Not many AR-10s around so I always like to see them, the rifle itself looks good. Any reason for only the front iron sight out of interest?
Not totally fussed about it, but I've changed it to 12 o/clock. Cheers CKinnerly
The front site is there because I was hoping to have the iron sights on reserves, but I had to remove the rear sight so I could place that flip up protective lens and the front sight was more flush, so I left that one on instead.
Looks nice. Maybe a perspex sacrificial insert for the scope and remove that flip up one? They can be had for about two for £3 from eBay in whatever size you desire.
I like that idea, I'll have a look and see what I can find. Then I can free up room on the top and put my flip up iron sights back on

Probably same thing, but in reverse. You'd need to declare it, so you'll probably need your UKARA number to make sure it arrives safe and sound

someone was supposed to sell me a RIS, but it never turned up. He sent it by royal mail, and now that you lot have had problems, I'm starting to think RM might be screwing us over :/

Well, I'll keep an eye on it, but I seem to be looking at about £60 which is a bit steep for me

I like how it comes with a saw blade on the side as well... very handy for making disposing off the evidence easier.
