cool, I've ordered the begadi one as it's cheap enough to have a punt. thanks for the advice.
right now they are totally new (hell, my one was sent off in the first week, and it's just arrived in the UK) and the people behind it are a bit cautious about saying compatibility, all they're saying is milspec back end, WA front end, propriety gearbox and body (TM AEG standard motor and grip though).
My understanding of WA route is that they're trying to out PTW systema, so as close as possible to real steel, I think they said that the WA hop was the only one that fit into the space available..
Please post a detailed review (or even just sh*t/not sh*t) when it arrives! I'm holding out for the mass produced version rather than the limited one.
planning to, I'm also hoping to bring it along to the Mall night game on the 22nd of december to pop it's cherry, so if anyone is planning to come along, no problem with them having a go.

Thanks mate, my google fu isn't doing that well due to working off a mobile as home internet hasn't worked for the last week, big thumbs and small screens don't mix.
I don't actually have a WA M4, I've got the DAS M4 (at least just waiting for customs for it) and was planning to stick on a 16in barrel (after I've checked it works well in stock form), and wouldn't mind having a mess around with it as soon as possible.
out of the three versions above, which one do you think is the best one overall?
thanks.
-
And now still looking for WA barrels as I literally cannot find anywhere with instock iron airsoft hop units.
-
Change your hop unit to something that accepts AEG cuts. If it's a G&P WOC then the Iron Airsoft hop chamber will do just that and is a better built overall anyway/
Might give that a go, do you have a recommended supplier of it?
-
I'm trying to find some WA GBBR inner barrels, but there don't seem to be any at all in the UK? specifically looking for 16" and preferably 6.03

I watched Aliens at the weekend, so I now naturally want to buy a Snow Wolf M41a Pulse Rifle.
They seem to have two versions though which I cannot find the differences between. Looked high and low. They even have identical descriptions
One is more money, so.... better build quality..?
One is here:
http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152197818-M41A-Pulse-Rifle-replica.html
The other here:
http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152200823-M41A-Pulse-Rifle-replica-SW-11B-.html
One is green, the other is not, I guess no one wants a tan one, can't recall a tan one in the franchise.
the actual screen used ones were painted in "brown bess" as that showed up in the film as the dark green we all know and love, go for the green if you want screen accurate, brown if you want what they actually made.
and I also think that the more expensive one had a better gearbox and cyclable UGL (not functional though)
-
not exactly airsoft, but it will be used in a very similar scenario.
and I've also put a deposit down on one those newfangled DAS M4's (fortunately I've got a bit of a discount) so very much excited in getting to play with one of those, am thinking SPR front end, and a VLTOR ARM stock
-
are all high cap springs the same? to put into context have broken the spring (the main one which keeps a "charge" of BB's) on my ICS c-mag and I've done a bodge job but would much prefer a reinforced one.
-
ICS Galil MRS, starting to get a bit of a collection going.
-
Is that mainly motorway driving or a mix? I was expecting 20ish mpg.
I tend to avoid jams as that destroys the mileage, but it's generally carriageway and countrylanes between 30-60 mainly,
-
What kind of mpg you getting with the Nissan? I want one.
doing the 100 mile refill test, 34.8mpg, however recently found out that it's a grey import so parts, rather ironically, are much harder to find, even though the actual engine is much better than the 2.5TDI (unfortunately we had some tainted diesel which congealed and has damaged the fuel pump, having to import a new one from south africa), but as long as you don't intend on using crappy fuel, it's an awesome truck, cruises happily at 80mph so 70 is smooth sailing, it'd be nice to have cruise control though as my other half doesn't like how heavy all the pedals are.

In the UK short of finding second hand, these are the cheapest, no idea on quality but I've got a black backpack of the same make and it was okay quality wise:
http://www.military1st.co.uk/03383e-mfh-acu-ripstop-field-jacket-hdt-camo-fg.html
http://www.military1st.co.uk/01383e-mfh-acu-combat-trousers-ripstop-hdt-camo-fg.html
in terms of cheapest, these will be so but expect an extra £10-20 due to taxes etc, I'd recommend buying a size (or 2) up from the listed sizes, and also expect a long wait:
http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20160327054421&SearchText=atacs+fg
honestly if you want the best quality for the price go for LEO kohler stuff, it's twice your listed bedget, but it will last forever and be incredibly comfy:

Does anyone know whether a TM AA12 mag will fit comfortably within a double M4 mag pouch, specifically http://www.uktactical.com/p-8070-warrior-single-m4-556mm-a-tacs-fg.aspx without being too loose?
-
New rides, kind of had a couple of good deals come up that I couldn't pass up, nissan is fully insured and taxed and on the road, really good vehicle that I can highly recommend. Jaguar is kind of my "Cruiser", absolutely love driving her, just terrified of taking her along country lanes.
-
Cheers Geoffrey. I know that Waririor stuff is highly rated, but thought it would be too pricey for me so thanks for the tip. So Mil1st will be selling WAS stuff soon? I can't see the DCS on their website, but maybe I'm not looking in the right place or I need to wait. I can stretch to another tenner to ensure a bit better quality and durability.
sorry mate, put the wrong word in, it's UKtactical who constantly have discounts available,
edited my post.

the viper LAZER set up seems to be the premium of Viper, but as mentioned before it is still cheap and chinese,
as you will see on this forum people will recommend UKtactica equipment,
http://www.uktactical.com/c-722-od-green-armour-rigs-tactical.aspx
also if you sign up for the uktactical newsletter and hold off for a bit, you should be able to get the DCS for only £10 more than the one you listed, and I can guarantee it'll last you for your entire airsofting career, I've got an old WAS RICAS Compact that is still going strong after 2 years of seriously hard graft, whereas an old viper holster I got I've basically relegated as apocalypse prop use because it looks like it's been through WW3-5 after less than 1 years worth of use.
The viper LAZER should work for a good while dependent on how hard you use it, but the WAS will last you for as long as you airsoft. also if you look on the foreign website you should be able to get the Viper rig for a lot less than what military1st is selling it for, when I've got more time I'll have a look around.
Edit: wrong wording

Currently in the process of making a couple of youtube shorts, near future WW3 sort of thing, and I was thinking what sort of weaponry people would recommend, I've currently got a KA P90, Galil ARM and soon to have an AA12 for personal use.
Now I kind of want something slightly more interesting than the classic M16 AK47 combo, so I was thinking of using the Galil ARM with my C-MAG as an LSW, the AA12 as it seems everyone recognises engineers as having shotguns, now the main weapon is something I'm a bit stuck on, first thought is just buying a second KA P90, but then I thought everyone is just going to think Stargate SG-1, and even though I agree that the weapon is a good platform, I'm kind of thinking about holding back to use the P90 for what it was designed for (IE PDW for vehicle crews) and using something else.
Keeping continuity with the Galil I thought the ICAR-MRS (http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/ics-metal-galil-icarmrs-airsoft-gun-aeg) looks quite interesting/futuristic, and being relatively unknown, as in the average movie goer is unlikely to ever recognise it, throw on a spectre dr and a foregrip/AFG and bobs your uncle.
Or get hold a second KA P90 and just stick on a Red-dot and flashlight and there you go.
I know reading this I sound like I've made up my mind, but I'm really looking for confirmation, or if someone has a better idea I would really appreciate the thought.

Got myself the faulty Classic Army ISSC MK22 (basically a scar) from action hobbies, and repaired it, the mosfet signal wire had broken, played with it today, it's actually not a bad gun, and the hop is excellent.
