Forgive me for asking but are you using .20g BB's? somethings making me think with a JBBG you could be using .12g
-
Where do you see that?
The price or the shipping? Helmet is something like 30 dollars and shipping is around 20 dollars, converted to GBP works out at £37.33
Plus shooterCB use an express shipping as standard, I've had tons of stuff arrive from them in under a week
-
None in stock at Airsoftpeak.
Shootercbgear charges too much for shipping.
So I went with ebay...
Its £37.33 shipped from ShooterCB, and you would have had it by tuesday next week. The ebay one I doubt youl see untill the 2nd week of january

Thanks jcheeseright,
After having a look at the BTC Mosfets, they do look pretty nice and you're right, they would certainly do the job and allow me to keep the original gearbox and evade any fitment issues.
Do you have any reputable sources you would recommend to buy from? After a bit of a search it seems like most places are either out of stock or charging way above the standard.
Cheers,
K
Ones just popped up on Zin

Been looking myself, if you measure your waist size, searching for some plate carriers will be so much easier. Since your 5'10" I'm pretty sure that's more or less irrelevant, I may be wrong, but when looking at plate carriers they give you a rough size guide, and it's all about waist size. Of you're from the UK, go to the website called "Military1st.co.uk" they do free delivery and sell great army clothing & equipment. Here's one that may be good for you, http://www.military1st.co.uk/201042-003-condor-sentry-lightweight-plate-carrier-tan.html.
Goodluck! Let me know if you find any!
Completely wrong, nothing to do with waist size. Its all about plate size.
from elsewhere "PLATE Carriers are designed to carry PLATES and PLATES ONLY. Thus, they are sized based on the SIZE of the PLATE you wanna carry in it. Don't be surprised if they seem "small" on you, because a 10x12 plate is designed to cover a 10x12 area. Anything larger than that is window dressing that allows you to add more sh*t to the vest."
Front plate: Even with top of the sternum while standing and covering the entirety of each nipple. For best fit, the plate should not impinge on the shoulder when presenting a weapon.
Rear plate: Should lie no lower than an inch below your vertebral prominence. A back plate one size larger than a chest plate is optimal.
Side plates: the higher they ride the better

If your boots are not waterproof, Sealskinz are the ticket.

Just found something out, my waste size is 27 inches. I'll look into a JPC ad they seem to be nice and tight
What has your waist size got to do with a plate carrier? it shouldnt be any where near your waist. You pick them based on your plate size, and being 5ft2 id imagine thats a small.

Looks identical to my old KJW M9

Well hello again!
Looking to get a riser for the top of my M4A1 and am completely confused by The STANAG Dimension thing!
I've got a standard sized pinicaty rail on top that I've got a red dot on, however it sits too low and there's no way to manually adjust the angle of the site (just the dot in the middle)
The one I'm looking at is this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B001WIUUV8/ref=mp_s_a_1_92?qid=1440440390&sr=8-92π=AC_SX110_SY165&keywords=UTG&dpPl=1&dpID=41dxQv-JSFL&ref=plSrch#
HOWEVER I am completely open to suggestions, as I've never used a riser before
I beleive you have an Aimpoint clone red dot on a low mount, Just swap it out for a higher aimpoint mount for below and it should bring it up to co-witness with your irons.

We really need a "read first" thread for this recurring question
As above. A few points that get given on every other thread in this section:
1 - UKARA us NOT a licence, it has nothing to do with government, police or customs
2 - there is no law or legislation controlling the ownership of an IF/RIF. It is impossible to be charged with an offence for owning or using an IF/RIF unless authorities could prove you were going to use it for violent crime.
3 - there is no law or legislation controlling the purchasing of an IF/RIF
4 - by law, all SELLERS must ensure that the purchasor of an IF if at least 18 years old. If a minor purchases an IF, only the seller has committed a criminal offence
5 - by law, all sellers must ensure that the purchasir of an RIF holds a legitimate DEFENCE, as a way of proving they will use the RIF for sport, recreation, or some other use that doesn't involve violent crime. For us airsofters, that is almost always UKARA. Again, if someone does sell a gun to someone without a defence, the seller has committed an offence and the buyer had not
6 - giving someone an IF or an RIF for free does not legally require a defence
7 - altering an IF to look realistic is covered explicitly in the VCRA, and it is illegal, hovever a legitimate defence (like UKARA) protects the person who did it, putting sniper tape on a rifle is not a permanent change, so that doesn't count, but adhesive tape probably would.
8 - since there are no existing court cases in this legislation, the few grey areas haven't been tested yet. This means that the only person who can tell you if you have/will break the law is a man I'm a curly wig at a courthouse (and maybe 12 of your peers)
Its an offence for a minor to purchase
(1)After section 24 of the 1968 Act insert—
“24ASupplying imitation firearms to minors(1)It is an offence for a person under the age of eighteen to purchase an imitation firearm.
(2)It is an offence to sell an imitation firearm to a person under the age of eighteen.
(3)In proceedings for an offence under subsection (2) it is a defence to show that the person charged with the offence—

This section introduces two new offences. It makes it an offence for anyone aged under 18 to purchase an imitation firearm and for anyone to sell an imitation firearm to someone aged under 18.

Personally I used to love it when I used it, Dont see it that often anymore. You could always mix it with DPM/DDPM for a UKSF look. Not the best for a woodland game but for CQB or urban sites spot on, but then again the ranges we play at camo isnt the biggest deal. FYI the camo isnt called ACU, its called UCP (Universal camoflage Pattern). ACU (Army Combat Uniform) is the cut of the clothes. Heres a pic of my US Army UCP 101st Airborne kit for inspiration
-
True fact; condor kit is made in the USA and issued to UKSF.
Edit: subtext to the above, it's solid stuff.
Indeed, Condor MOPC I beleive

With a £400 budget, id be looking at KWA's recoil range or stretching a bit more for a TM recoil, slap a BTC Spectre in and your done.
-
Only illegal if your under 18, if your over then its the seller thats broken the law.

Ive just seen a milsim game advertised as a 35 hour game. Would you want to play airsoft for 35 hours straight and sleep in game with specs on?
Yes, and theres quite a few others who also like it.
