At the risk of sounding very stupid (Nothing unusual!)

Is this shiny silver adjustable thing the NPAS adjuster?

My fps is 225 roughly on a 0.25g bb which seems a little low 🤔

Where did you get your rifle as all the official Uk ones had npas installed rather than a restrictor

Shit I actually have an old ass king arms fal with Luke at negative airsoft as we speak! Christ I’ll be happy if they make mags!!! Any mags!!!!

I actually found a load of mags in a box the other day lol

  3. Scar h , G3 , FAL , SR25 , MK12 are all good options . Avoid the M14 as it isn't as comfortable with weight as other designs although I still love my M14 it rarely gets a look in . My most consistent , accurate and long range rifle is easily my GBB fal and that's not even running at dmr power

  4. VFC offer the EU spec but unfortunately BZ who imported them didn't relay that information to retailers properly.  VFC still offer regular spec to EU and UK too and other importers still get them.  It's down to BZ to tell people what they are selling them

    https://www.umarex.com/products/airguns/brands/heckler-koch.html

"UMAREX is the world’s largest manufacturer of over-the-counter firearm replicas and the largest importer of air guns in Europe. Founded in 1972, the mid-sized company is now run by the second generation of the two founding families. It has approximately 1,000 employees worldwide. The key to the company’s success has been the acquisition of licenses to build replicas of well-known weapons, which then can be sold without restrictions. Umarex currently holds licenses for the brands Beretta, Browning, Colt, GLOCK, Heckler & Koch, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, IWI and Walther."

Not sure where you are getting the parts difference from any info you could link to please?

Most of those licenses are for Germany only.  Colt license elsewhere is currently owned by cybergun and vfc has the license for Olympic arms themselves as well as BCM and KAC . None of the EU spec rifles have umarex licensing and in fact most of them have no real.markings at all as it's the "budget range" my advice is to avoid the EU spec budget line unless someone wants something cheaper as a back up or first gbbr.

And my info comes from VFC directly (to answer whoever asked). I work in the airsoft manufacturing and distribution industry including with VFC

  5. EU version actually refers to the spec . They are zinc bolt carrier AND trigger parts where as the regular version has steel trigger parts . Also EU version usually comes with CO2 magazine

Yup trade mark thing. Stuff marketed to the EU that does not want to pay dues to Umarex.

Umarex has nothing to do with those rifles as they are not H&K or Glock based

Just bought one of the VFC made Sig 320 x carry.

Nice pistol, one concern if you put a gassed up mag in the pistol when the gun hasn’t been cocked the mag valve is obviously making contact with the valve knocker as the pistol firers, not powerfully, but another for the slide to move forward and back very quickly, just like when you lower the hammer on a gassed up mag.

Cant find out if this is a faulty pistol or just how this one is designed.

Check the strike valve on the magazine with a valve tool, i find some are not fully screwed in

  7. I've got at least one of each brand with P226, P228 and P229 models  ,

TM - shoots quite nice but feels dated and tacky now

KJ - full metal but poor finish and a bit rattley

WE - actually one of WEs best models , nice finish , realistic feel and firing pin look , decent performance

KWA - Nice finish , NS2 system just feels weak to shoot , bad markings

VFC - stunning finish and performance but not so easy to track down (def my choice for the best)

I do have some other brands too but they aren't worth adding as they are either super expensive or rare these days

Any luck with the retractable stock? I have the original Marui butt and the whole locking module itself, I just don't have the two bars which retract...

If they fit, at least I can try moving them over to the TM parts...

Oh good point I'll try it when I go upstairs in a bit

Does anyone know/has anyone tried a VFC retractable stock on their MP5? I can't find a replacement Marui one and hoping a VFC might fit...

The solid stock fits but the sliding stock for the gbb has a buffer etc in it.  I'll try it later when I get chance

Any one else run into feeding issues with certain BBs

Only just got mine and had nothing but issues. Using some bios that I’ve not used before so I’m hope if it’s just that.
Initially slight forward pressure on the bottom of the mag helped but now it’s just random whether it will feed on not.

BIOs often aren't as good as non bio BBs especially if they aren't a good brand.

Personally i will not use bios in any of my rifles
