    @Wavey_Gravey Ta, any idea why?

Full story was he ran/owned Bespoke in Cannock but then sold it to Iwholesales where it operates as a kind of soft retail arm for them.

They moved the business down south where upon the aforementioned commute came in

Also worth noting that he probably isn't on companies house as he is a sole trader not a limited company

  2. Since 2020 shipping has increased in cost   , materials have increased in cost , some factories have not yet fully returned to airsoft after switching to making medical and safety gear , fuel cost increases world wide .

All of these are world wide but especially in some parts of Asia. Brexit may not help locally with the economy but it has nothing to do with the shortage of product being produced and shipped from Asia . Hong Kong shipping and warehousing companies have increased their charges exponentially the last few years which means retailers and factories are increasingly going back to sea shipping which is still very backed up from the pandemic rush and has also increased costs due to the global increase in fuel cost.

If you think we have it bad the European shops have it even worse as the buying power in Euros is even lower currently according to my colleagues in the Europe offices.

Add to this that there just hasn't been the new releases this year that we see some years but that fluctuates year on year

Thanks! Yes let me know if you decide to sell on! I did end up purchasing one from high pressure Airsoft who seemed to get some in stock, but it's gen 1, with like a solid mag, a tan A2 grip and some odd looking stock 😓 so I'm going to be sending it back for a refund and wait out for a gen 2

The gas only ever been one generation of the DE one so no idea what that is. Drop me a message mate

Still don't get the point of a GBBR of a real steels gun who's whole justification is recoil mitigation.

I just really don't like the vector but I do like there to be replicas in GBB of anything people might want

    That's what I thought 🤣

In fact wasn't that the one that kriss lost its shit over & refused anybody the rights to, over trademarks ?

Wonder what's happened to make them change their minds.

Where's @rocketdogbert when we need him, he was our vector expert.

No really where is he ? 🤔

The KWA one was done before Krytac existed .

Basically Defiance licensed KWA to make the GBB vector and they had a big fall out .

Most of the KWA USA staff then left KWA and started Krytac as the airsoft division of Defiance (Kriss).

KWA owned the proprietary gas system as they did the R&D etc and it's based on their gas system so Krytac were not allowed to use it.

At the same time KWA couldn't make the Vector anymore as the license now belonged to Krytac hence why neither party could continue with it.

  6. What often causes the adapter to come loose is the movement of the fake belt catching on the magazine release as it rattles . I

I sorted this by A using inert rounds with only the top VFC one with the hole in it and B by making sure there is plenty of slack above the mag catch so that the belt doesn't pull taught when it's being moved by the shaker

Anyone know of anywhere these are still in stock? Or anyone selling 😅

    How we all finding them?

They all seem out of stock. Basically they were available from a few importers but then one distributor managed to get a batch very very cheap ( which is why the retail price suddenly dropped) and now none of the original importers will touch them as there is no margin left and the importer that got a batch cheap don't have any left.

I picked up a couple with the intention to do some project guns but if I decide against it I'll put them in the classifieds here still new in box

I still think even .3s is a bit excessive for a support gun, considering what you're aiming to do with a support gun is lay down a bunch of BBs :P

You won't get very heavy tracer ammo though because I don't believe it exists, due to what materials are needed to make heavy BBs as heavy as they are and what materials are needed to make tracers all glowy are very different materials.

Remember his support gun is using 100 round magazines and firing in bursts rather than the usual stream of BBs from AEG or HPA options .

0.32g is the heaviest I've seen for tracers and they were RWA ones

Your nearest stores are probably Swindon Airsoft Supplies or Redwolf's Retail shop in Tewkesbury. I don't think there is anything nearer to you. For Redwolf it would be straight up the M5 and off at Jct 9. Plenty to look at in their store.

Neither of those still exist . Swindon relocated what was left of the retail store to their site shop in Gloucester and RWUK closed retail operations 6 years ago and now only do B2B

That's a shame, as the Brucie Bonus for this gun's mags seemed to be the fact that they're actually available (if rather expensive)

I heard one of the MWS owners at my last skirmish complaining about the lack of mags - these seemed a way around that - but if they're not very good (at £65 each), then 'oops' :(

For £65 each definitely go for the gunsmodify mags

Marui is gonna release a Gen. 5 G17 in the future. You can still slap a steel slide on it later on.

They will actually work out more expensive and it will still just be a TM with steel slide running on an internal hammer without any of the new design features of the GHK
