Arrived yesterday. Holosun Micro Classic HS403C I had ordered the B variant but after 2 months they still hadn't stock so they offered this more expensive model for no extra.
I think the only difference is the solar power. 
 
Is my first ever decent optic that isn't one of the £40 knock of red dots from you name it airsoft website. 

Thing I am most impressed with is very very little parallax effect which the cheaper red dots suffer from. Great build quality as well and much cheaper than RS military optics but still retains that T1/2 look.
 
If you want a quality optic you can actually use that isn't expensive this is the one.
 
Also rocking the guns modify T1 lens cover.

In fairness I have never shot one, Is see the appeal. And would be good for speedsoft I guess but for me personally the realism combined with performance that you get with the MWS is just perfect to me.

Ah I am actually having trouble fitting a tracer in mine. I have the Xcortech Xt301 V2
 
Having some custom aluminium fittings made for it

tbh, and others may disagree, but if it's not spewing gas everywhere when cycling then frankly i'd be happy enough with that kind of performance.
 
for me at least any gun that can mag dump its way through the RS equivalent of bb's (so for a 1911 that's 7 rather than however many the mag holds) outside of winter is good enough gas effeciency.....

A few spares arrived from impulse101. Ordered 2nd March and arrived today. Can’t argue with that service. 

The MWS and the NGRS castle nuts use the same laylax spanner. But the castle nuts are advertised separately even though they look the same to me. 
 
Ive just taken a set of callipers to mine and that MWS buffer tube is smaller in diameter than the NGRS one. It’s not by much but there is a difference. 

Yup it’s a tuning fork alright. It gives out a nice twang kind of sound.  It’s quite funny though. Lol

@gunbod007at around timestamp 3.09min onwards you can see the inner barrel being inserted into the marui outer barrel. If the hop unit doesn't slide in then I suspect the tolerance of the Angry Gun outer barrel aperture is too tight and needs a tad filing out to accommodate the Marui hop unit.. Maybe the angry gun barrel is made specifically for an angry gun hop unit to fit? There's a thought eh? 
 
 

So I have the Angry gun L119A2 10 inch outer barrel. Doesn't seem to fit the standard TM inner? What have I done!?

Just hold ya horses till you hear back from a few peeps on here. Have a beer or something in the meantime. 

I managed to get a RS Magpul QD plate to fit on my MWS with no mods.
 
The only issue is that it is slightly larger than the TM buffer tube so it rotates slightly as you tighten it up.
 
Just requires patience turning it in the right place to set it in the right position.

So I just forked out an extra £50 for Sportsman's Association to use as Valid defence on my import from KYairsoft. Having ordered it I realised they offer 2 part shipping which would probably get through customs but anyway spoken to a firearms lawyer and he reckons this should be enough.

Really interesting point here is that UKARA is essentially preferred by retailers because it is pretty solid as defence and holds up in court. At the end of the day it is their responsibility to check.

But legally speaking you can buy or import a RIF without any of these previously discussed memberships. If you had an FAC for example you could say the RIF is for drills or target practice.
 
You just need a valid excuse essentially that if a reasonable person was to judge you they would say yeah he's not using this RIF for bad reasons. That valid excuse or defence has no exact legal licence or membership. UKARA has just become a very popular way for retailers to protect themselves but they can accept whatever defence they deem fit.

Loving my new holster setup, Kydex Customs mid drop, KC basic holster, DIY thigh strap.
Access/pistol grip to draw is awesome, no flapping around even with full steel pistol, no chaffing from strap, and you can sit down without knowing there’s a pistol.
Im sure many others have been and done this before, but to those who haven’t it’s a great setup.

Honestly if you want a NGRS as a backup gun / or something with a little more fire power then all it needs is deans connectors, decent battery, Prommy 6.03.

Yeah I am just going to leave it together after tasing off the sensitive areas where paint could get in the gun. I don't want it to look neat and tidy but I am just worried about paint getting inside the selector and bolt release

Thank you. Yeah I used the t-Rex arms video as a guide and also Garrand Thumbs design for the paint job. Really easy to do, spray it in alternating stripes of tan and brown, then lay some mesh over the top and spray the tan part with brown and the brown part with tan and voila! Snake skin type pattern
