  1. Hi! Glad you found the thread helpful! Nice, loving the FSP builds!
  2. From the description it doesn't sound all that bad, mainly cosmetic on the barrel nut, of which you cannot see when the handgaurd is fitted. Are the reciever threads all ok? Perhaps put pics of the damage up?
  3. It is weird, that's what I was relating to above saying I'd only like them for CQC.
  4. Indeed, I genuinely could not believe my eyes, Geoff's mag empty, insert mag of GDs and pulled the trigger - very satisfying!
  5. I used to exclusively use Green Devil BIOs way back when. They are scarce in the U.K. but I recently bought a load from Belgium. Did some 50M testing with my G36 couple nights back. Long story short, was using non BIO Geoff's Super Precision 0.28s, switched to GD 0.28s, easy 40% grouping size reduction, AND THEY ARE BIOs!!!
  6. We all get IQ reduction daily 🙈 Yeh @Skara a microswitch is nice but only in a CQC environment I find, the hair trigger and no felt reset is pretty ghost. Cant beat a full mechanical gun with a basic external mosfet for ultimate reliability.
  7. He said he didn't want any internal electronic trickery, a mechanical gun if you will.
  8. Same path, i ended up on a G36C. The TM Recoil has a very nice trigger for a mechanical V3 Is very balanced and pointy to drive. Another great gun (gnu) i dont personally own but have worked on and recomended to many is the G&G MP5, the top tier blow back variant.
  9. The MWS has quite a large cutout compared to most GBBs Thats why most MWS compatible inner barrels are advertised as such. Obv AEG won't fit as they do not have a cutout, but a window.
  10. @Arassuil nice, not enough FSP rails in use!
  11. Thats a pretty high comendation then! Thanks! Waiting on an FDE MRO cover, the Pico AAB arrived today 👍
  12. Legolas! 😂 Yeh if only!! Just need 600 yrs of Elvish experience and insane senses
  13. So freakin cool, I think they def need to be classified as sniper / 500 / med."
  14. If you are paying that much I'm selling! Hell you can have all my airsoft stuff and my cat! 😂
  15. I like to strip my mags down when new and check they are clean / no foreign objects. Check all the seal mating faces are good, no debris or moulding marks. Reassemble with all seals coated in silicone oil. Then as you've said, I store them half-ish gassed, it doesn't have to be maintenance gas unless you run propane or dry gas.
  16. A suppressor does work for sure. The quietest setup I found was; 330fps UAC light bolt Suppressor HSB As @P4radox said, a lot of noise comes from the blowback/Recoil. This is reduced when there is less work (gas pressure) required to cycle the bolt. You are also making the whole cycle faster so harder to locate. I have actually engaged many enemies under 30M like that. Time between shots, and shooting when other noises happen elsewhere to cover your report are good practice too Also worthy of note, I find heavier BBs leave quieter! 🤷🏽‍♂️
  17. Youll just have to wind the power down, it's a big advantage the joule creep, and if your engagements are mostly 50+M then you want 0.36s in that. Good thing is your vertical deviation is a misnomer. At 60M even a light breeze will curl a BB of course. Also trigger discipline is a big thing. 😉
  18. You need to rule out wind for sure. And note if they are generally curving vertically up/down or laterally left/right
  19. @GothicGhost i bet thats actually quite effective camo in use! Finally got around to assembling the G36C, on the whole very happy with the build, although i think im going to have to swap the X-ASR for a Pico AAB, the internal rollback noise of the gears to the anti reversal latch drives me mad on semi!! Of all the colours i feel the FDE on the mags is the least effective, its too bright i feel, ive got some good ol' Humbrol Dark brown (FDE) aerosol which il prop spritz them with as its such an awesome FDE in use. The whole layout of the gun colouring was to blend with myself / Pencott Greenzone at the rear of the gun, and wrapping the gun around trees/fortifications/dirt etc at the front end.
  20. Just need that tech in my specs' now 😂 Stopping the googles fogging is one thing, glasses is another 🙈
  21. It is funny how many of us have unknowingly spoken to each other... maybe for the best 🤣
