  1. Its easier to change looks than internal quality - that is the moral of the story, an MLOK rail for an M4 is easy to find I dont like recoil, i take it of my guns, easy to do. But mag empty detection is nice to have.
  2. You want range - TM Recoil You want smooth running - TM Recoil You want higher ROF reliably - TM Recoil + BTC/Titan + gearset + EagleM90 + 9.9V Get a new if your budget allows or used Recoil, + those 4 mods will achieve more than youve probably ever expierenced and last a very very long time. Get a solid base gun and get the internals done then leave it alone inside; I know this looks quite different, but better to start with something like this https://airsoft-forums.uk/classifieds/item/10003-tokyo-marui-m4-cqbr-recoil/ and change the externals as you please over time. Best Dave EDIT: Wanted to say - spend once wisely, get the base gun and save for upgrade later if needed. The stock TM is simply amazing anyway.
  3. When tightening the barrel nut you need to make sure that the hop lever stays centralised in the the reciever groove. Yours is probably rubbing on one side
  4. https://eagle6.co.uk/shop/catalog/product/view/id/3032/s/laylax-pss10-6-03mm-inner-barrel-g-spec-length-303mm-for-vsr-10-bolt-action-rifle-series/ OR if you want the best try and hunt down a PDI 6.05 in 303mm
  5. Nooooo just put a 303mm Prommy in there and you're golden 👍
  6. I can hear the Scar stocks breathing a sigh of relief
  7. Nice, which Cerakote'ers are you using?
  8. Glad you went Prommy, for I while there I thought you were going to go Crazy. Some like them but in testing I did not. Before you get super excited and throw all your packaging away; roll the barrel on a flat surface and check it's true/straight. Also inspect the crown/barrel exit for any little burrs. 95% of the time Prommy are bang on but sometimes there's the odd lemon
  9. Haha! Yeh "wait a minute where you are" walks over with a surveyors trundle wheel 😂
  10. Upto about 50M you probably wouldn't notice much difference, but for the purposes of DMR and Sniper with longer engagements sensitivity of BB / barrel contact increase a lot! Proof in sniper testing with a BASR @ 500fps, swapping to longer than even 303mm hurt accuracy in a big way at 75M and beyond. We were getting accurate measured shots to torso size target at 100M with a 303mm! In the same vein, tighter bores increase this sensitivity again. The above bolty was running a 6.05. 6.03 is the smallest I'd go on any RIF other than a pistol. Best Dave
  11. @Shizbazki don't worry about inner and outer barrel lengths being close to each other. Try to get upto FPS with a 370mm rather than any longer, it only hurts accuracy. Dont go tighter than 6.03mm bore. @Wo1f had great results at 80M range with his DMR setup.
  12. Did you start reading at the beginning of isolation!? 😂 Have used Defcon before all good from my experience as 0.0001% of there sales prob haha. Camoraids, Firesupport also good UK MWSers Glad your not coming out skirmishing, prob a shit hot shot lol! 😉
  13. What is it, break barrel thing? Pump it up?? What you spent the other £20 on?
  14. This advert is COMPLETED!

Will sell separately too, TX-5 only £200 posted.

  15. Check between the original and new mag for differences. The centre pin looks different in length. Is the gas route rubber the same flowing internally? And is it sealing to the nozzle properly - thinly put some silicone grease on the top surface of the gas route, insert and remove the mag - is there witness grease on the nozzle entry? Is it being held high enough by the mag catch?
  16. Hi @Smiller apologies, yes I am looking into mass production of them, just difficult at this time. I do still offer MWS servicing etc.
  17. At least you know where it is 👍
  18. oooh nothing much, you know propane adapter this, hop rubber that 🙃 You still got that CASV?
  19. Such an effective value levelling system this thread. Also shows just how many forums are actually full of hurtful trolls and so new people cannot see a genuine community past the veneer of this thread due to the common tone they are used too. This is easily the most informative and useful forum around. I suppose this thread actually works unintentionally as a good defensive barrier for the forum, filters the traffic 😁
  20. Issues of a GBBR!?!! There is no difference in accuracy between the two, in actual fact the inner barrel is 250mm 10" on both variants. Pick whichever floats your boat. Food for thought later down the line; a 10" and a suppressor makes for a quiet gun. All you need is; Nuprol gas or propane and an adapter. Some decent BBs, Devil blaster or Geoff's if your flush lol in 0.28g A genuine TM speed loader, 2-3 mags is fine. They are the best gun OOTB period.
  21. Oh yeh this is old, he's showing where he's filed part of the trigger mech for a less stiff / notchy pull and reset. I made a very nice drop in replacement trigger bar that made the trigger lovely with a dream reset, but I couldn't make it cheaply enough yet for you guys. one day! Be great to do a Happy Meal style 'tune your MWS' goody box eventually! I need to get another personal MWS, it's just not right without one 🙈
  22. To tighten groupings; A HSB spacer will tighten up FPS (and therefore shot accuracy) consistency. Bucking clean and dry, all seals good, nozzle and nozzle spring healthy. Mag gas exits in good condition. All that will also alter FPS consistency. To increase range and tighten groupings; If you're nearing 330 FPS or more 0.36s will fly nicely. Higher FPS with heavier ammo again. Otherwise your looking at a higher quality barrel and Rhop
  23. Hi, just stick to a TM bucking, the only time you may notice a Modify is better is in low temps, the softer more silicone like rubber is more compliant and grippy than a TM. This is the same reason why they dont last as long, especially with higher FPS / temps / gas pressure.
