  1. Yes its the Madbull one, nicely made, you need to drill through the bolt ring if you want to retain a dummy gas tube though. Actually going for a bigger gun, aiming for a MK12 Mod 3 if you will, i notice Daniel Defense and BCM sell these and are in use in theatre. Heres a mock up - need a higher scope mount and to sort the 18" barrel out properly. Oh if anyone has a spare original MWS M4A1 barrel they dont want please DM me
  2. The Recoil really isn't that harsh, if at least give it a punt. ACM sights are so hit-n-miss (excuse the pun) it might be just fine.
  3. I built a matched pair of P226's a few years back, they were very accurate at 50M and obv range out further than that. (EDIT; TO CLARIFY IM TALKING MARUI) All the consisted of was; Longer barrel, 120mm i think, PDI Raven barrels. PDI W-hold, excellent fit bucking in the TM hop unit, and excellent nozzle seal. Hi-Capa piston lid seal, they did not like the O ring types. Prommy purple gas routes. 0.36g BBs Also of note witht he TM P226s is checking for moulding marks rubbing of outer barrel to underside of the slide, wet-or-dry paper gives consistency improvements here. Likewise with any GBB always check for free motion of the BBU / nozzle. They out shot most MK23s Said it before but not a fan of crazy jet barrels.
  4. Can you guess what it is (going to be) yet?
  5. Don't get me wrong - it's so satisfying (and annoying for the recipient) getting pistol kill in the woods 😁
  6. Agreed, just think excess weight in GBB pistols being a secondary is unnecessary. Different story with MK23s etc obv
  7. Yeh it's just when that one player is stopping your progress due to him being in some thicket or like, then a burst is golden.
  8. Flight time / time-to-target is also a consideration. For sniping (where time and being covert are on your side) longer TTT is fine. (although shorter pro-rata due to increased FPS) For an assault primary / secondary at circa 328fps/1Joule then 0.28 - 0.30g make the most sense. If you are regularly shooting medium distances then 0.36 in your auto capable primary really shine at 50M+ I mean snap shots and opportune moments are usually missed by a slow travelling BB.
  9. I spy a Suunto 😁 Is this RIS/RAS direct mount?
  10. Good on you @ghostwalker, if youre getting to those distances id definitely say start running with a little weight, save the abuse on your skeletal frame from extended distance running and keep upping the weight instead, that will push your cardio/endurance and strength, not just cardio/endurance. Then when you run without weight youll be a gazelle! And you wont notice the airsoft kit
  11. I get the logic, but luckily i seem to have avoided hose session events. Dont get me wrong in woodland you do need a 'burst' to allow for 'the law of averages/leaves', but constant firing clearly doesnt imply to me good accuracy/combat skill/timing 🤔 I cannot stand the maracca's or the constant winding! Plus i love a tactical reload its half the fun! Rather carry BBs and a speed loader out back then if i run out i can reload all mags and crack on 😁
  12. Indeed, oil or a moisture less environment 😁 Store them in space 😂
  13. Having watched a few of these, definitely nice and honest, however - do Scot's only have access to high caps? 😂 I mean, damn there must be some plastic in those woods! Hope they're on Bio's!
  14. Stamped steel constructed guns with chemical or blued finishes need to be maintained by wiping over with a rag and gun oil.
  15. Assuming your a larger guy, by that I mean someone who actually has some body fat, believe or not I'm envious of that, being 6' 4", strong but cannot put on fat or bulk, which ultimately means my endurance will never be great as I have zero reserves. I thought only women watched the scales! Stuff that, keep up the excersise, you'll get stronger and fitter regardless, any weight will sort itself if you don't eat shit. Feeling fit in any level has to be one of the best things to make a skirmish day or milsim really good fun. Just playing regular with all our kit on running around is a serious workout - especially if you die a lot 😂
  16. Do love an SD, what HPA? PS please make that designator black 😉
  17. Life is harsh - fitness falls of 20x faster than I goes on! Where do you play! Fall pits, that don't sound like fun!! My weakness is patience, it usually runs out 2 nano seconds before it would have been epic 🙈 My pistol work is well rusty these days, mostly in part to hardly playing in the last 18months due to work and Covid pandemic.
  18. Aye @RonLancs you don't tune up a 1.6 BMW, you start with an M if you wanna go fast 😁 To the OP, most site limits are 328fps for CQC, no point putting a spring in if that's the case. Regardless and said a million times - don't get hung up on FPS. Make sure all your air seals are spot on. Match your cylinder volume to your barrel and BB weight. Get a nice barrel. Dont use cheap BBs. If playing field use 0.25 or 0.28g BBs. Cheap proper upgrades to your accuracy and range right there.
