  1. The Act does specify "from negligence" though.

I assume the waivers are mainly there to protect the site from people tripping over twigs and hurting their ankles rather than harm caused by dangerous onsite practices / dodgy crumbling walls etc.  So they do have a purpose for protecting the site management while limiting those protections to ensure customer safety isn't ignored.

I know we're going to be in Inverness, but I think we'll be all around the area for a week or so.

I live about 20 minutes out of Inverness, I'm sure you'll have a great time wherever you go.  I'm sure you'll check out Loch Ness.  Just be mindful that everybody who visits has the same idea, I've heard the traffic is pretty crazy around there these days.  You may get lucky though.  If you find out what times the tour buses operate you should even be able to avoid them.

And if you get desperate for an airsoft game Tazball (now MonkeyFace) is very close!

  3. That's a cool find, I really like it.

I had a quick google and it's looking like you may struggle to find anything original.  I did find these two though -

    Etsy - https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1642193865/original-austrian-army-military-magazine?dd_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F

Surplus & Outdoors (Out of stock) - https://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/austrian-military-issue-olive-852748.html

Maybe you'll get away with some MOLLE pouches in olive green?  Military1st has a pretty good range at different price points.  They're kind of my go-to as they don't double the cost for sending to the Highlands!

  4. I still have the rod that came with my AUG many years ago.  It has a red mark on it so you know where to stop, really handy.  Definitely worth DIYing with a marker or bit of tape.

I can still remember being horrified the first time the barber trimmed my ear hairs & eyebrows.

Short story long... I'm an Arbroath laddie & was back in my hometown on holiday so went to the barber I used as a teenager (1980's), sat in the same chair, the old guy was still there but the fecker charged me LESS for my haircut than he charged me 40 years ago.

Wow, you're hairline tanked faster than the economy!

I just gave up going to the barber when I realised I just needed to drag a set of clippers across my head a couple of times.

In that case it's not the rum, you just got old😜, I've got it everywhere except my head, the ones that just seem to appear overnight, about an inch long out of my ears are a special bonus🙉

Bollocks.  Might as well keep drinking the stuff then.

  7. I don't really drink much myself, but I've always got a bottle of Mount Gay and some cans of coke in the back of a cupboard for those hot summer days.

If you really want to push the boat out though, give 'Stroh' a go!  It'll put hairs on your hairs.

  8. Hey guys,

Hoping one of you experts can help me out with a query.

I've got a WE F229 and I'm struggling to find a spare mag specific to this model in stock.  I'm guessing that it should be interchangeable with similar models, but want to check in here before I buy.

Is the F229 compatible with 226 mags?  How about manufacturer differences?

UKARA Limited is the UK Authorised Representatives Association apparently

I found that too but still not convinced that its linked to that guy.   You're right!

Seems he has been involved in the Medical Device supplies industry for awhile, looking at his profile.  My assumption is that his UKARA is possibly some kind of failed start-up, especially given the timing (2020!).  Maybe he didn't have enough buddies in the Tory party.

I might be wrong though, didn't see any real details on the UK Authorised Rep site gave a start-up date.

Do you think we can get our RIFs reclassified as medical devices and go through these guys instead?

I'm wondering what these nimrods get out of it....  Surely no one ever clicks the links.  Especially on rather niche forums like this.... I mean - I for one have never missed a period.

😫 Oh no! I've never had a period, should I see a doctor?  Should I click the link??

But more seriously, it takes them very little effort to just run the tool and have it spam everywhere.  It's probably targeting the host or tool used by this forum rather than the forum itself.  The more spam they more chance they'll find an idiot.

if your gun is travelling at 300 FPS, and your BB shoots 300 FPS, your BB will still be travelling at 300 FPS, because the speed of BB is constant regardless of frame of reference according to relativistic physics, it may look faster but it is experiencing time differently because of time dilation via Magnus effect applied by the hop up

If your gun is travelling at 300fps then your BB will be travelling at 300fps anyway.  Along with all the BBs in the magazine...and the magazine.  If you happen to be attached to your gun then you'll be travelling at 300fps too!  I'm not sure relativism has much to do with it at that point, though you might get some funny looks off the marshalls.

  12. Can I suggest that you change the poll text slightly to target only those that have bought and paid for a patch.  I know it's implicit in the context of your issue (with the patch), but with this poll text you're likely to have people voting no for where they haven't bought one.  Will seriously skew your results.

Maybe even add a 3rd option for people who haven't bought one, for engagement purposes.
