Pistol kills are great and I love using them so tend to use mine a few times a game - it's also quicker to switch to in the middle of a firefight than reload. Just ventured into shottie ownership so looking forward to messing about with that - just to stay on topic I'll probably run 0.2's through that due to only using it indoors (probably).

0.2's indoors 'cos I've a ton of them I want to use up and 0.25's outdoors. When the 0.2's run out I'll just use 0.25's in everything, everywhere. At the distances I'm usually using a pistol I could pretty much use any BBs and the differences would be negligible.

It might be out of the Land Warrior warranty but if they're a proper dealer then they can liaise with Umarex as any 12 month warranty would be with them rather than LWA. Standard procedure for a lot of consumer goods. Would be good to know what this mysterious product is though.

I've got TM red, white & green shells and as far as I'm aware the differences are cosmetic only - which is why I got them in the first place - they're gasless mags so no reason why they'd influence anything other than feeding. Got mine from Fire Support. Sometimes it's better the devil you know.

Looks to me that the MP7 mag is a TM one, if you clean up the stamped writing above that 'belt' it looks like the first line says Tokyo Marui. No idea on the other one.

This year I bought some stuff. I didn’t sell any. Pews got delivered to work so don’t technically exist as far as Mrs M is concerned. Therefore if they don’t exist, they can’t have cost anything. Not adding up spend gives plausible deniability, as such I’m not just so I don’t know the actual answer 😉

PS5 is way better than PS4. I have both. HDMI 2.1 really makes the most of the graphics too. Am more into GT7 / racing sims, so can’t really pass comment on the shooters, mate recommended me one yesterday but can’t remember which one it was.

Let me get this straight .... you were using a G&G mag in an Ares with a Specna gearbox. The nozzle broke, you think it was the follower that's in the G&G mag that caused it. My 308 mags have the same follower, but they are designed to work in conjunction with the 'stop on empty' function and this may be where your issue is coming from as I'm presuming your pew doesn't have this and therefore every time your pew cycles when empty, the nozzle hits the follower. In which case you're probably right in your assumption as to how your nozzle broke.

Are you planning on running it with a magnifier? If the answer is yes then a lower MOA would be a good idea. Equally at the kind of range we have with our pews, you'll need a much bigger MOA to totally obscure a target. Mostly it's preference though as let's face it, we're working with airsoft levels of accuracy and consistency and if the first shot misses there'll always be an element of walking it in. My red dot purchases have mainly been based on price, how it looks and whether it fits, I'll get it zero'd and functionally that means they are accurate enough for me but I (mostly) play indoors where there's no foliage, wind or rain - so you'd expect fairly decent accuracy/grouping. Outdoors my expectations are much lower and the dot's are useful in making sure I'm in the right ballpark. That said, I don't think I've looked through a 5MOA sight.

New pew day is always a good one, I see many more days like this in your future 'cos you know, everyone needs a sidearm because pistols are fun and then you'll need another pew for a backup and then what if you want a short pew for CQB or an SMG or maybe a shotgun (not even mentioned GBBRs yet either!) and then there's all the accessories ..... If you're anything like the rest of us you got an empty bank account for Xmas 😂 Oh and ref the above comment, a chrono is a worthwhile investment to keep an eye on your pews performance and an essential bit of kit if you are inclined to tinker.

You could type that sentence into Google and I bet the first hit is the Hi-Capa hub. Get your Google on and if you can't find anything then the hive-mind is great to search out stuff that maybe isn't in the places you'd expect, but you'll get more out if you do some of the leg work yourself and you get to look at shiny stuff so win/win.

I may well be biased but the FNX-45 is a lovely pistol indeed, I run a Xcortech XT301 tracer on mine rather than a suppressor and it'll still sit in my holster just fine. Hop's 25's a daft distance too 😉 Just had an email from Defcon with a TM Hi-Capa 5.1 DOR at £124.99. {Edit} Looks like the FNX and 4.3 are both at £139.99 currently.

If santa was pushing the boat out it'd be a TM MK18 GBB, although a shotty tracer would be handy having just got a Breacher. But I think he'll be bringing me a shiny new (bigger) stainless fermenter so I can double the size of my beer batches.

It's an M6 thread, picked up the tools today so will give it a go at the weekend if I get a spare 5 minutes. Definitely worth giving it a try though.

Lots of good advice already ☝️ Get yourself a list together, when you get your first pew there’ll be a ton of stuff you also need and it’s a good idea to make sure you don’t forget something. Chances are all those extras cost as much as the pew! If you’re playing indoors then I’d highly recommend a weapon light and tracer - although both will ramp up your initial investment.

Black Friday impulse buy, been wanting one for a while - just needed an excuse really! Got to work out how to fit it into my game play - at least I usually do CQB! Also, it’s heavier than I thought.

You know that shiny new board I'd got that I'd not put my bindings on yet? well it turns out snowboard QC is right up there with airsoft QC. Not one of the threads on the inserts was clean enough to take a bolt! As it was now 6 months old it was a warranty issue and boy are Capita's warranty department slow, three weeks to respond with a slightly odd request for a picture of my binding bolts and then nothing for a week. Got fed up and sent their customer services department a strop-a-gram full of 'I'm sure this isn't what you want for customer service' and 'I feel ....' comments. Next thing I know I get an email from Absolute Snow saying they're issuing a full refund and I can keep the board! - would've been nice to get it sorted without a month long wait but nice to get a resolution all the same. At which point I'm back to square one, no board, a holiday six weeks away and no DOA's in my size in stock at AS. Frankly I've been a bit soured on the Capita brand after all this so was quite glad of that. So after the application of some man-maths and a healthy dose of 'F**k it' I've ordered a Bataleon Evil Twin+ because it got recommended by a mate and I can't be arsed re-looking for a new board. Phew, now that the board's sorted I can start looking forward to a trip to Les Menuires in Jan! Mind you, I'm also tempted to get an M6 die and give cleaning up the threads on the DOA a go, it's currently a wall hanger so can't make it any worse!

Z-Mart last night. They've made a few changes since I was last there, the shop's improved and chrono's moved so there's less chance of new people getting lost in the game zone on their way to & from. The chrono station was improved too, not just FPS but also picking a BB out of your mag and weighing it. All went smoothly and all my pews were fine, not that I was expecting an issue as I've a chrono at home 😉 Split into two teams at the start, first game was one where anyone can medic you back in and then you joined their team - good to get your eye in, no idea who won, don't think anyone was that bothered TBH 😄 Second was one where a few team member had a light up band, once shot you had to stay in place for 10 secs before going to respawn, in that time anyone could give you their band. The aim was to not have any bands left on your team. Again no idea if there was a winning team. Third game was an objective grab, you had to collect them and bring them back to a base, that base wasn't your regen as you could also go and raid the other teams base for their stuff too. Was a good twist on the usual objective grab and the layout is such that you can flank the other base so you had to keep your eyes peeled. Was glad I swapped to the 308 for this one as I surprised myself as to how quickly I went through my mid-caps and onto my hi-cap which is my last mag, would have run out of MP7 mags for sure. Our team definitely won that one as we had all the objectives. Last game was the usual end game, arrange yourself into teams of three and have a team name. Shoot people, medic dead people with your team name. Pretty sure that as you get to a point where everyone's on the same team a PM starts using a different name just to keep it rolling. Carnage, but great fun and a good way to end the night. Funny moment was when I bumped into another player and we were both like 'what team are you on?' not really wanting to shoot each other at point blank range ... so he shot himself in the boot and I medic'd him back in 😂 Took all the pews and they all behaved too, I even remembered to release the pre-cocking on the 308 at the end of the evening which has been something I've forgotten a few times before, definitely need a different red dot on it though. That reminds me, I need to take the batteries out of the sights & lights.

No idea, haven't got a shotty so I'm going on the responses on their WhatsApp group. Tempted to get one though, just for a secondary as it'd make a change from the pistol, albeit less useful for how I play 😂
