have to say perun top class customer service
emailed them last night around midnight about issues with my mosfet they replied by 12pm today and will be sending out a replacement bottom v2 mosfet pcb and there next gen v2 mosfet to try in both gearboxs for them
-
not long back from my first game and wow.....bloody amazing even if my gun was a bag of shit till i changed tappet spring on the last game lol devolped a feed issue which it never had befpre would feed a bb every 2nd shot so was manageable but got worse through the day got pissed of changed it and enjoyed the last hour of play
-
Changing tappet plate spring on last game! Sod that I would have left it. If you did that at our site the gearbox would have had more sand in it than gears.lol
Did you get any kills though?
I ran my specna arms se-05 yesterday and boy what a performer! Got me 11 good kills.
Glad you enjoyed day though 👍
Regards

haha it was that or i broke the shotty out but way the enemy were playing i was having to use range so couldnt use the shotty
got a fair few 1 curve shot i was impressed with
we won all the games till the last round of a team deathmatch they did at the end by the end of the first match i could barely run was funny as hell also jumped over a branch only to stumble and face plant it wished my helmet mount had a arrived as that woulda been a golden moment to have caught on film llf
yeah man was amazing cant wait for my next game

ok ak47 qustion time lol not bothered about the style of ak as i pretty much like them all lol
im seriousley considering one now Ill have around 150-200 when the time comes so just wonderin which in that price range has the better externals more bothered about externals than internals as i can rip those out and replace with better parts dont really want to be arsing about replacing externals

cheers @Sitting Duck i may just put an order in once get my ukara as tbh thats when id be ordering the gun anyway dnt want the ukara popo at my door for removong two tone lol
-
I bought an 028 as a spare rifle. I was really impressed with it tbh. It get abused as a loan out gun, still 100% fine touch wood.
Ended up with a couple more, all good, but as noted above, pins are better than screws.

ok so mega newb question from me are you surprised? lol
ok so chronoing at site is done at .2 is it just the chronmo set to .2 and u shoot .2 through it?or is it your normal weight shot through it?
- Show previous comments 6 more
-
that was with the maple bucking and soft nub macaron one i think its called
thats what i was hoping bump up the power a little so on .2's its as close to the site limit then with the .28's and hop set for em thats easy going to be in the low 300fps if not high 290's and not over powered imo and the right way to go about it? i could be wrong on that but you guys will keep me right on that i hope lol
-
if the gun is under the limit when firing and hopping a .2 then for an aeg it should only go down.
however if you build the gun exactly to the limit firing and hopping a .3, then switch to .2's and turn the hop down to match it could well be over.
hence a little bit under is better for safety, 5-10fps isn't the end of the world for range but it might make the difference if you end up somewhere with a policy of whacking in .2's, turning the hop off and declaring anything 1fps over as a hot gun.

pablo escobar over a bb gun hahah gd obe

Not really in to painting stuff myself
only really krylon'd some clear or two stuff black
but DAAAMMMNNNN that is pretty fine job it seems to me
did you use airbrush or just cans ???
I got some basic airbrush kits & compressor
but was for a project at work to spray silicone & counter
at counted intervals to keep production machine running
(reducing static build up - fucking worked & fun project)
I could easily dig them all out & go nutz
but not my thing really - can't be arsed
BUT - credit where credit is due...
-
thanks man rattle can almost forked out on a cheapo airbrush kit but i dont do warhammer anymore so would only get used for doing this so just went the tin route made my own stick on camo from sheet of greaseproof paper layer painters tape horizontal one side flip over and vertical the next cut out the shapes and boom u have double side stick on stencils
-
quick battery question before i dig out my inteli charger from the loft after not using one for 8 years lipo inteli charger settings went out my head but
lipos 4.2v per cell fully charged
if memory serves me right for 1c charge its basicly the mah of the battery so a 1100 mah batt for a 1c charge would be 1.1a?
-
braw just wanted to make sure before i break out the inteli quite surprised the cheap basic asg lipo has kept the 11.1's in balance would of thought it wouldnt of been that great and would of seena bit of varience in the cells
had to resurect one of my newish 7.4's would plug in and register as a 3s instead of 2s quick 2 second nihm blast then onot a blance charge has seemed to sorted that one put a few cyclesthrough it and seems to be ok will find out through proper use soon i hope haha
-
well for a laugh decided do do a proper chrono on the cm516 with.2's im getting 346-349fps
with .25's 300-310 with a laughable 11 rounds per second lol
-
well no wonder the 516 was noisy as shit!!!

Yeah that is pretty good for a Cyma tbh
they are normally not great, hardly anything
reckon somebody tweaked it when downgraded spring
G&G's starters are not brilliant either
JG's often have a double o-ring cylinder head
(which is pretty good)
& their std piston head offers good stock compression
yeah deans will help add say 1~1.5rps
motor is cheap/lame, not even a bearing on motor tower
but it is a £80 starter so can't expect too much
and I've bought a FUCKING LOT WORSE when I started
good job squire
-
did see what you meant about the crappy nozzles though!!!
yeah to begin with didnt think it would of made a gd seal but managed to get it as you saw
yeah have seen alot of g and gs that aint performing right
ahhh nice to know as have looked at a few jg snipers
haha yeah is a bit weak i may change that lol
nah i aint just getting it runnign gd for the wee man is main priority
thank you
-
They all might need a bit of work here n there
Never been able to get great compression
from a stock G&G piston with head all sorts of o-rings
(Cyma's are nice with new o-ring)
Some manufacturers make a slightly better model M4
& others make a better AK's - Cyma
(Cyma either cheap 028 or 040 series, avoid the cheaper 521)
& both JG & Cyma make decent starter G36's
G&G's are nice - their receivers are lovely, even plastic ones
they make nice looking models costing a bit more
boxes are finished a bit better & very TM Compatible
grey 18k motors are like slightly slightly better Cyma cheapies
& if lucky you might get a slightly better blue or
if very lucky a neodym orange ifrit 25k motor
(but usually in the £200 G&G's than the £130 Combat Machines)
G&G's with electronic ETU's can be picky for some people
which alas let them down & G&G lost some ground
whilst cheap as chips Cyma upped their game on many starters
at a much lower price - sure they aren't on G&G's level for finish
but a lot cheaper & quite robust for such a cheap starter gun
but in the end, as long as they go peew peew OK
that will often do just fine for a first gun or backup
ya did good sir - well done
-
well that has been a fun 4 hrs installing a mosfet haha tbf the install was nice and easy its the sticker on the selector that was an issue no matter the position of it tells u to move the sticker depending on what the ligths say etc but they have included the new normal stickers and ones for mp5 and ics which have worked on my selector.its a weird way of checking all sensors are working enough waffling lol just glad my gun is now fixed lol
-
well thats the gearbox back together in the 621 seems to be running sweet as a nut so far now to clean barrel and get it bk together and chrono one part im dreading lol
-

Here's something a little different. I rewatched The Hill after about 25 years, stars Sean Connery set in a military prison in north Africa during WW2. Phenomenal bit of film making. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0059274/

well the psu plug thingy like what comes free
in these cheap China guns
are not smart type that switch off once charged
and things being what they are I don't trust these free chargers as far as I can throw them
(also don't trust mains B3 & any charger with Nuprol on it)
so if you got a decent smart nimah charger
or
a B6 & enter details n shit into nimah menu
then hunt around for an old charger or lead
seems to be 3.5mm & 1.3mm as I said
splice it all up - positive polarity centre
IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING !!!
(if people can't use a test meter then stay away from electrics)
had to put that in there to warn idiots not to fuck with shit
ahem - then charge it up with a proper/better charger
sorted
-
i have a seperate lipo/nihm charger bud dont use the cheap ones with the guns i also have one similar to this but seperate balance board etc
https://www.modelsport.co.uk/skyrc-d260-ac-dc-charger/rc-car-products/447000
-
that's the correct approach
you needed the connector from Action Hobbies
then a power jack
and a bit of common sense - sorted
watch out - the black plastic top cap of batteries can come loose
no biggy to reglue it back
new AEP stuff...
old school nimah with iffy charger bastid...
-
black multicam trousers and jacket ordered just need to find a plate carrier i like
-

exactly for all they knew it could of been on its way out as it bent a piston rack last outing and would still fire so imagine iot done that again and they fired the whole mag the damage would of been more than just a rack and gaurentee they wouldnt of paid for the repair. would of been the shouldnt of left it there then
-
or (as has happened to me, with a gun i'd willingly lent a mate) the motor height backing out, fortunately there was no damage but didn't stop him bricking it when it went far enough to stop firing.
something you'd pick up on if you knew your own gun and how it sounded, but not something some rando will get (experienced or no) if they've just picked it up.
also for all he knew the mag might have been stuffed with .48's and he'd just send £10 worth of ammo downrange......
-
haha yeah i willingly lent my stepson my m4 and he well nearly snapped it in half thought hed bent the outer barrel or ripped the nut off the threads but luckily had just come loose XD
agreed as no gun sounds same
exactly bud! was .32's but like said i aint bothered bout the cost of the ammo just in my opinion and like assholes we all got em that its a dickish move to just pick someones gun up that u dont know and think its alright to use it
