Hi all,
My TM 1911a1 used to drop mags when firing occasionally. However I've just put a metal kit on it and the problem is much worse.
I'm using the original springs but it seems the extra weight of the slide moving forward is enough to dislodge the mag, I've tried a guarder mag release but the mags don't lock in at all when using it.
Any ideas guys?
Thanks
I have fitted the G&P handguard to mine and have found the same issue with the pin. However if I use the pin from my old TM mp5k it goes straight through.
Finally in the club ? In regards to the tight magazines, I've noticed the one it came with seems to need a bit more encouragement to fit but the others are fine.
I agree with the above, I've used guarder frames on a G17 and a G18 both with aluminum slides and mainly green gas, even with the full auto of the G18 and thousands of rounds through both i've never had an issue.
