Expect a call from Iran asking how quickly you can deliver a few hundred

Wow, it sounds like they're giving you every excuse under the sun. If it's a repair under warranty my next e mail would say they've got a week to either complete the repair work or issue a full refund or you'll be taking legal action
If they really do have a massive amount of warranty repairs to do then it makes me wonder how crap their stock is

HPA is only more reliable if (like gas) you're happy to do the maintenance. A well set up AEG can be consistent enough for a game where the slightest whiff of a breeze can make a mockery of the money you've spent on making your gun super accurate and consistent!
Thing is, social circles (like many corners of the interwebs) are basically echo chambers. All your friends think HPA is great, therefore you are more likely to go HPA because that's all you've heard about.

Thanks, I am using 11.1v already so should be good.
I looked at those but they may be a bit thick for the Double Eagles. I'll purchase 1 and check but I know for sure the 1000mAh will fit and should last 3 or 4 30 minute sessions the way we play.

Cannonfodder got a reaction from Mr Dellski in Pistol recommendations
Unfortunately ti reccomended a particular pistol I'd say we need more information. How often will it be used? Is it going to be used as a primary or spend 99% of the time in a holster? Also what's your budget? There no point in us suggesting high end expensive guns if they're out of your price range.

Cannonfodder got a reaction from Mr Dellski in New Gun, New Battery, Newbie.
If the smoke was coming from the trigger then I doubt it was the battery as they're in the stock. I'd say it was a problem with either the wiring or the motor.
Imo you did the right thing sending it back. Too many people in this hobby are happy to buy something, find out it doesn't work and then spend more on fixing it. As far as I'm concerned, if I'm spending several hundred quid on something it had better work out of the box or it's going back

£250 preowned, or £165 brand new and an extra £40 for the drum mag

At that price point, I think I'd rather buy this... thing

Cannonfodder reacted to DerDer in DMR rules in airsoft
Different sites and events will have different criteria and rules. Some make it calibre based such as only 7.62/.308 replicas.
Others have minimum engagement distances with power levels.
Bolting a scope on a M4 and using it to spam semi at a higher power, is looked down on by many.
