  1. Unfortunately eye/face protection and dealing with fogging is one of those things where everyone's a little different. Don't be surprised if you have to try different things before finding what works for you. Personally I use glasses with a mesh face mask and use cat crap on the lenses at the start of the day and again at lunch if it's a warm day. One other thing that can affect fogging is what's on your head. A helmet or beanie will trap heat more than something thinner like a bush hat or cap
  2. Or they're trying to flog cheap crap at new prices. For example
  3. Know about what? Your crap website that looks like a school project from 2002 which undoubtedly you're going to spam us with adverts?
  4. I did wonder if that's the same seller as posted earlier
  5. My first stop would be a lower powered gas
  6. I can't find anything about the company Ulm but it is the name of a city in southern Germany which is home to a few gun makers including Walther (who are owned by Umarex). If I were a betting man I'd wager that Ulm are importers and a part of Umarex while the OEM is someone else, probably VFC As someone with a bit of a thing for German guns I'll definitely be keeping an eye on these (along with working on my Scottish accent and cheesy one liners)
  7. A very useful thread. Most of the places I've found either want a minimum order of way more than I would ever need or won't go smaller than 100mm
  8. Absolutely brilliant show. My favourite was Lady 1 question
  9. When I first joined arnies I saw loads of usernames with really cringeworthy stuff like leetsniperdeltaforcesas in them so I went for the opposite. Since then I've usually stuck with it
  10. FINALLY got to see my doctor yesterday, I showed him this painful rash I am plagued with on my balls. Couldn't believe it when he just refused to help, but continued to push his trolley around Morrisons .
  11. I wouldn't bother with changing the spring as higher fps doesn't equal better range. If you are going to swap anything then it should be the hop rubber and nub, the ones mentioned above are a good choice. As for where to buy from @ak2m4 is a good place. Having posted that @Adolf Hamster makes a very good point. Give heavier bbs a try as you might find you don't need to change any parts
  12. That's actually not bad compared to other impact grenades
  13. Taken from the returns section of PB's website. Take note of the last sentence Please note that we are unable to accept returns for cancellation for any items that have been 'customised to order' such as two tone items or items modified by the workshop at your request. This does not affect your ability to return these items if they are faulty or not as described.
  14. Welcome back. AFAIK arnies is still going but I haven't been on there for years and zero in is zero in so best avoided like a dose of the clap. As for airsoft pages on social media, I couldn't say as I'm only on faceache and I left all the airsoft groups on there as 99.9% of what was posted was either people not knowing what they're on about or wannabe airsoft celebrities begging for attention
  15. Unless you're playing at a cqb site with ammo weight limits then you want to be using heavier bbs anyway as you'll get better performance. Just be careful joule creep doesn't put you over site limits
  16. To paraphrase Sir Mix-a-lot, I like big bangs and I cannot lie, so as long as they're not stupidly priced I might get one to see if they're any good
  17. Scrolling through faceache I saw this announcement from JD Airsoft. It's not new ... just different! Introducing the FRAG (Field Reloadable Airsoft Grenade) and experience the ultimate build in reliability, affordability, and safety! With over 3 years of R&D, component testing and field stress checks, the FRAG is the most robust lightweight impact blank firing grenade on the market - A world's first in fact! Using the latest Dupont Hytrel 5556® thermoplastic polyester elastomer, the FRAG impact grenade is very light but very strong. Weighing in at only 195g the device is safer than any other throwing device available making CQB a much safer environment to play in. THE FRAG grenade is a product that will not only offer you a highly demanding reliable experience, but also at a cheaper and more affordable price point. On sale from 31st August - in store and online. Available in 10 different colours. FREE FRAG PATCH with every purchase (while stocks last). For now they take .209 primers. They haven't said anything about price yet so it'll be interesting to see how they compare to oshi booms and quake grenades
  18. I don't know if it's the same seller or not but the pictures look like they've been cropped from here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/235645841068?itmmeta=01J687RNQWWEZ2KB0BDSQ2HAED&hash=item36dd962eac:g:Iu0AAOSwfLtmjVC5
  19. That's a very long winded way of saying piss off not our problem
  20. Well if nobody else is going to post it here I guess I will
  21. I use an AEG rather than a GBB, but I find 2 mags fit nicely into each pouch on my SADF M83 chest rig
  22. I've always liked Ray Mears' tv shows as unlike most of the "survival experts" he doesn't do the macho bullshit that others try to do (and would probably get anyone it that situation for real killed) On the D of E gold hike I did on the Isle of Skye one of my teammates did the same on the morning of day 2 and we had to drag his arse across the island for the rest of the week. Not fun for him or the rest of us
  23. Patch given to a shop at the NAF then posted to faceache
  24. Not sure, I just googled lipo balance lead connector. If you contact component shop they should be able to advise you, I've found them to be very helpful in the past
