  1. As is clear by my profile picture I like things that go boom, however I do agree that unrestricted use of pyros does make the game get boring fast. However a blanket ban can kill a game just as badly. If nobody wants to move as they know there's several guns pointing at a doorway then games will end up as a stalemate with neither side wanting to move forwards. Fortunately from what I've seen many sites are starting to restrict the number of bangs a player can carry.
  2. Looks like the twat with the ghilly suit is getting upset about being called out😂😂
  3. Just saw on this on faceache The list of stolen items is quite extensive and includes several airsoft guns https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BJpVgbn7j/
  4. Thanks. I might have to pay them a visit if I can get a sunday off when they've got a game on
  5. How long was the wait between games? From looking at the RIFT website they say you get a minimum of 8 games in a session but one session is 5 and a half hours long. Even with Tony's notoriously long briefings that sounds like potentially a lot of time hanging around in the safezone (something that's guaranteed to put me off a site. I've paid to play not sit on my arse)
  6. @Airsoftmateyhow much game time did you get? According to the booking page you get a minimum of 8 games of 20 minutes (2h 40m) but the session is 5h 30m leaving almost 3 hours spare. Obviously some of this will be taken up by chronoing and the safety briefing but that still leaves a large portion of time potentially sitting around in the safe zone.
  7. Thanks. Looking at the location I remember this being announced. Nice to see they're open
  8. No 2 round burst?☹ On the plus side it looks to be better made than the real thingI
  9. As above. It would help if you could tell us more about the site, eg the location,, and possibly some photos
  10. Let me help you out there. No they wouldn't. Airsoft blogs are as common as airsoft youtubers but less appealing
  11. Then why mention forums? Tbh it looks to me like you're making it up as you go along which doesn't give me any confidence in either the platform or you
  12. The about us section would disagree Our platform serves as the ultimate hub for airsoft enthusiasts, offering a unique blend of a marketplace, forum, blog, and events dedicated to all things airsoft. So which is right? If I had a pound for every time someone announced the next big online platform for airsoft, only for it to amount to nothing I'd be very rich
  13. What does this new platform offer that others don't? From a quick look it appears fuck all
  14. I also see that despite both his guns for sale being photographed on the same duvet, the locations given are several miles apart. In fact the more I look at his adverts, the dodgier they look
  15. While I fortunately don't have to deal with the public at work I've had my share of mental health issues (along with probably a sprinkling of neurospicyness). The combination of being out in the countryside and having the distraction of the game to concentrate on really helps.
  16. That's one of the great things about this game, you can play at whatever pace you're comfortable with.
  17. Ii saw that but was too busy laughing at the make and model descriptions to see it's a repainted 2 tone
  18. You'd have to be on something to think that's a reasonable price
  19. His other sales posts, while not so stupidly priced, are just as bad for the descriptions. Eg make: sniper model:hpa
  20. I was hoping to avoid a triple post, but then I saw this. £800 for a ghillie suit
  21. Well done, the difference between the first and last photos is really clear. Agreed. It definitely helps with both physical and mental health
  22. Don't forget that under section 29 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 any parcel is the seller's responsibility until it's in the buyer's possession (leaving it on the doorstep doesn'tcount). If anything does go wrong then it's the seller's responsibility to chase it up with the courier. Edit: apologies for the double post. I thought the forum would automatically merge them both
  23. The part which gets me is that he's happy to accept f&f. Surely someone who is anti PayPal wouldn't use them at all
  24. Definitely cut and pasted. The americanised spelling is a massive giveaway
