  1. That was your first mistake
  2. It would help if we knew your site's rules for DMRs Your profile says you have an SVD. The real one are a DMR so why not use that?
  3. I'm sure I've seen working ones at that price here https://www.whitespheretactical.co.uk/product/boneyard-golden-eagle-8879-shotgun-replica-black-1-/6727?cp=true&sa=false&sbp=false&q=false&category_id=B2GQSYO7OLYMK2WYXGYCEPXE
  4. While it's good that ares have decent customer service will send out replacement parts, the fact that they're having problems already is concerning. Hopefully this isn't the start of a trend
  5. You too are correct that TM can be innovators in that everyone else is copying them, but that innovation is, imo, at least partly driven by competition. It could be argued that it was the rise of the Chinese clones which pushed TM to release the NGRS system. Back when I started playing 21 years ago your choice for AEGs was TM, Classic Army if you wanted to flex on the poors or occasionally ICS. Also you were looking at £30 per magazine. New players can get all the essentials for way less than it cost me Another reason I like having a larger choice of makes is that it opens up the game to a wider market giving us a louder voice if some politician wants to make a name for themselves by wanting to expand on the VCRA
  6. I think you've missed my point. Any company which essentially has a monopoly over its market is bad for the consumer as a lack of competition stifles innovation and artificially increases prices
  7. Isn't it still the case that TM have the lion's share of the market in Japan and don't care about the rest of the world? If there's no real alternative then it's basically TM or nothing
  8. I think what he means is to put your ukara number as part of the address, eg Joe Bloggs ukara no ABC1234, 69 High Street, Anytownville, Acounty. AB1 C23
  9. They didn't. I'm starting to think it'll be easier to just rip the whole gearbox out and replace it with one from an old cyma 513
  10. It's a pogo bike. There's a spring in the red bit?
  11. This week I managed to make a complete balls up of the repair/upgrade on my KAC PDW. In no particular order I managed to tear the new hop rubber when putting the hop unit back on the inner barrel, loose the hop nub (fortunately I found again later) and while disconnecting the wiring a bullet connector came off. I'll try again today and hopefully things will go better
  12. Still optimistic but way better than the as new price he wanted Edit: I just noticed the type of batteries. I didn't know people still used those so it's definitely still a bit high
  13. At least he listened and dropped it to £60
  14. I thought the school holidays had finished this week.
  15. Joined April 13th and hasn't made a single post. Even if he's not dodgy I doubt he'd be missed.
  16. Assuming you're sticking to below 1.13j and not turning it into a DMR I'd say you're about right with .28 - .32g but unfortunately the only way to be sure is to give it a go. Try using whatever ammo you already have and go from there, you might find they work fine
  17. Also running at 260fps. Assuming that's with a. 2 it clearly needs work done too
  18. That's a great price. I've heard good things about them
  19. That's good news. I wouldn't consider it sorted though till you either have what you paid for or your money back. If you dont get either of them by monday I'd start the dispute and dont drop it till you get the outcome you want, no matter what the seller says
  20. Welcome. I haven't personally owned any Delta Armory guns so I don't have first hand experience but they appear to be a a decent brand. For that price you're spoiled for choice when it comes to AR15s and the polymer bodies can be just as sturdy as their metal counterparts but the lighter weight will be noticeable at the end of the day. As @Rogerborg posted, avoid the cyma 5xx range as I swear the bodies are made from melted down ready meal trays. A shame really as the gearboxes are excellent, I put easily over 200k rounds through mine completely stock with no mosfet with a 11.1v lipo and it didn't skip a beat
  21. I tend to just buy whatever's available on site. Recently this seems to have been vorsk bbs and I haven't had any problems
  22. So the guy had been selling rifs for at least 8 months and this is his first PayPal transaction. Anyone else think that's a bit suspicious?
  23. And everyone was wearing either DPM,l⁰ US M81 woodland camo or flecktarn if you wanted something a little fancy
  24. Years ago the usually correct advice was to avoid shops with bb in the name as they sold cheap unskirmishable crap. Over the past decade or so many of these shops have started to stock better guns too and can be quite competitive in price at times if you know what you're after. Just dont fall for the trick they often pull of inflating the original RRP so the "sale" price looks better
