  1. This is an odd one. I've only played there once and while I wont be going back I didn't see any need for staff to wear body cams. I know they do other activities like paintball and axe throwing so I'm guessing they might've had trouble there so now cameras have to be worn for all activities. Of course it could simply be down to the owner trying to show how professional his staff are for extra clout on social media
  2. Care to elaborate on your passive aggressive nonsense, or are you just going to post another out of focus photo?
  3. Also the faceache page hasn't been updated since 5th of February so I think you're right. Still, it'd be nice if they actually told people
  4. Till the cocking handle breaks and goes flying across the room
  5. Plastic bodied mp5s are probably one of the lightest AEGs around so tbh I'm not sure you'll find anything significantly lighter without using a pistol. As others have posted your best bet is to get a sling
  6. Much better This. After the success of their other gas shotguns I'm surprised tm haven't released one
  7. I got all excited when I saw the words gas shotgun then I scrolled down. Bloody hell that thing is fugly
  8. I saw pictures on faceache a few weeks ago but tbh I just assumed that it'll be a few years before its available. I just hope it's more reliable than the g&g gbb rifles
  9. It's not the price that's the issue here, but the nearly new description
  10. I've been banned from shooting in the house. I can't complain though as I managed to scare the shit out of the neighbour's wannabe gangster kids. They saw me plinking in the garden and asked if it was real. For fun I said "this one, no". Strangely they have always been nice and polite to me since
  11. I'd say the zombie themed games are usually aimed more towards the stag do or birthday party market and from experience those groups tend to make game days worse rather than better. Combined with an inability to answer simple questions quite frankly I'd rather shit in my hands and clap than give them any money
  12. Agreed. I tend to buy new as I'm happy to pay a little more for something where I know it's new and I have the peace of mind knowing if it is a lemon it can go straight back for a refund. Also tbh it's very rare that something shows up in the classifieds which piques my interest and I actually have funds for
  13. I'd say being a member of the forum for years and with a post count in the hundreds probably helps. While it's not definitive proof its certainly more likely that a long term member with many posts is going to be an airsofter than someone who only joined last week and has only made a couple of posts
  14. What is it with site owners acting like cunts towards other sites? A local site to me has had trouble from the owner of another nearby site since before they even opened.
  15. Despite playing regularly I haven't had an active site membership for a couple of years but I've still managed to get my hands on rifs, it just takes a bit more effort. The big issue with schemes like just cos is that our defence was given on the basis that the airsoft community would be self policing. So when retailers are actively looking to promote ways of selling rifs to people without them ever setting foot on a site it comes across as a big middle finger to those who put in the work getting our defence. Not to mention the fact that said defence could easily be taken away at the stroke of a pen so they're potentially putting the hobby (and their own business) at risk
  16. Well your replies certainly are entertaining I'll give you that. They don't make me want to visit your site though How does restricting one particular power source "level the playing field"?
  17. Because not answering simple questions doesn't instill much confidence in how well the site is run
  18. Nosey buggers and people who think they're funny were the reason I switched from a hard case to a soft rifle bag for travelling on public transport. All too often I'd get some twat who thought they were funny saying "what's in the box, a machine gun?".
  19. I'd say that is silly and a load of bollocks. How else are you supposed to adjust the hop up and clean it? Unfortunately it's far too common for airsoft shops to pull this kind of stunt
  20. What an absolute bellend. He was being antagonistic and deserved to have the book thrown at him. I've had a couple of instances where I've been stopped by the police and they could've made an easy arrest but didn't. I think a big part of this was because I was polite and respectful rather than a cocky shit. Simply put if you fail the attitude test then prepare for your day to be ruined
  21. If it's only internal parts missing then I'd say yes. Internal parts are irrelevant as whether not something is a rif is purely based on appearance
  22. In my experience most cqb sites charge £35 for a whole day but tend to be from 10:00 till about 16:00 so if games run till 19:30 then that's actually not bad. I agree the half day prices are a bit high though
