Butcher bill makes a very good point. Renting or using borrowed guns till you get your site membership means you're not stuck with a two tone. Also if the site has different rental guns you can try different ones to see what suits you. For example I prefer shorter guns like SMGs or carbines as I like to get sneaky and find longer guns get caught up on bushes more easily

Performancewise there's bugger all difference. It just depends on whether you prefer m-lok or ris rails to attach things. Personally I prefer ris rails as they're more common. Pick whichever one you prefer the look of. If you want to use x sight I'd go with a red dot over a scope as engagement ranges are short enough in airsoft that you don't really need one
