  1. Ii agree with Leo that using the gun first before looking at upgrades. This should give an idea about what, or if anything, needs upgrading and will give you a benchmark for performance comparisons when the new parts are fitted. Unfortunately the false belief that all guns must be gutted and upgraded before being used in a game is becoming more popular, whereas in reality it's often bollocks.
  2. Edit: nevermind, the gun decided to shit the bed and needs some TLC before being fielded again
  3. It definitely could, although you'll need a few extra mags and/or change how you play. However its worth noting that gbb mags tend to be relatively heavy so the weight soon ads up when you're carrying several.
  4. Edit: if you mean the spring powered shotgun unfortunately there aren't really very many accessories available for them.
  5. It's also a good idea to get into changing your battery at lunchtime on a skirmish day. Apart from helping to keep the batteries healthy it means you avoid the battery dieing right at the worst moment possible
  6. I only play once a month so my batteries sit doing nothing for a few weeks with no problems. Just make sure you don't run them completely flat as that's what tends to knacker them. It's worth noting though that some mosfets do draw power constantly so if your gun has one you need to unplug the battery from the gun
  7. Agreed. The nearest one to me stopped selling surplus kit to concentrate on regular camping gear over 10 years ago. There was also a guy at St Albans market a few years ago but his prices were worthy of Mack's and the bullshit he'd spew would put a politician to shame. For example he told the Mrs that the MTP smock he was selling was a bargain at £50 as they usually go for £200
  8. To me a bigger concern should be ghosting of the dot. I've had some red dot sights in which the dot is so bad you can't see where the bb went
  9. This. Start off with just a couple of magazine pouches then you can work out what, if anything, else you need. Whilst it's tempting to splurge on a full loadout with a fuckton of pouches, often this leads to an urge to fill every pouch so you end up carrying around loads of kit which never gets used. Then when you do slim down your loadout you end up with loads of pouches gathering dust in a cupboard
  10. What do dark humour and unvaccinated kids have in common? They don't get old
  11. This. The tippman guns that run on 2 12g co2 cartridges only last 200 shots
  12. Unfortunately I think the only way to ensure nobody is cheating the chrono would be to only allow 1 weight bought on site, however I'm sure I'm not the the only one who'd avoid a site with such rules
  13. Iirc that's what they did at urban assault but with magazines rather than speedloaders as the majority of players were using M4 variants
  14. I've only played there once on a Wednesday evening and while I did enjoy it there was one major point which makes me hesitant to go back. The wait between games was ridiculously long, so much so that of the time it was open over 50% of it was spent in the safezone waiting for the next game
  15. I'd heard they actually set up scenarios for his bullshit content
  16. Agreed. I've a rule where if a site allows that bellend to play there then I'll avoid it https://playairsoft.uk/
  17. Seconded. I've been playing for almost 20 years and all my guns are from the cheaper end of the market with stock internals. If you do find yourself regularly out ranged then I suggest trying heavier ammo.
  18. At a guess I'd say one of these Section 13 of the Terrorism Act 2000 states " 13Uniform (1)A person in a public place commits an offence if he— (a)wears an item of clothing, or (b)wears, carries or displays an article, in such a way or in such circumstances as to arouse reasonable suspicion that he is a member or supporter of a proscribed organisation. (2)A constable in Scotland may arrest a person without a warrant if he has reasonable grounds to suspect that the person is guilty of an offence under this section. (3)A person guilty of an offence under this section shall be liable on summary conviction to— (a)imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, (b)a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale, or (c)both. If you're worried then you better stick to the old Ludwig Van
  19. Well we shouldn't be seeing any more Wagner patches now https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-66724396 From about a quarter of the way down The proscription order will make it a criminal offence to support the group - including by arranging a meetings aimed at furthering the organisation's activities, expressing support for its aims or displaying its flag or logo.
  20. Fixed that for you😁 Bad jokes aside glad to hear you both enjoyed yourselves
  21. Always best to try the simplest things first
