  1. As above. Lipos aren't the ticking time bomb some people seem to think they are if you use a little common sense
  2. According to a reply on one of his ads he's in the fatherland too.
  3. I was thinking my collection wouldn't have much that could be posted, but a bit of time on IMFDB shows I was wrong so here goes. Also I've included TV shows H&K SL8: Jurassic Park 3 Buffy the Vampire Slayer Supernatural Bionic Woman Walther P99: Resident Evil Matrix Reloaded Underworld Stargate SG-1- Sharknado (not sure it counts as sci fi but I thought I'd give it a mention) MP5K: Matrix and many others, although mine is covered in rails and had an AR style stock R870 sawn off: Universal Soldier 4 Escape from LA Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
  4. You mean a history of labeling stuff as original that are clearly reproductions?
  5. This. To me it looks like what you'd get ordering a uzi from wish.com
  6. The price isn't too bad till you add on the extra £20 for postage
  7. Possibly a silly question but is that fps with .2g bbs?
  8. To me that just shows the quality of his work. Unfortunately there's too many idiots who've watched a couple of goontube videos and call themselves a tech, despite their work being worse than that of a drunk chimpanzee
  9. Single mag pouches no, but a double mag pouch yes but it might be a bit tight.
  10. Would it be wrong to make a comment about women wanting something 19 inches long, pink and battery powered?
  11. That's only partly true. While the plastic used for the bodies aren't great, the gearboxes are solid. I ran mine for a good few years on an 11.1v lipo with no problems internally, it was only when the plastic on the outer barrel broke it was relegated to the parts box I've never owned one personally but Specna Arms do have a reputation for being good quality and value for money. Yes their earlier guns had problems but it looks like they've taken the feedback on board and made some changes. Have you also taken into account for extra magazines too? Having only 1 mag means you're less likely to run out at the wrong moment or leave you sat n the safezone if it stops working
  12. Welcome Good call on getting a few games under your belt before buying guns. Do the site have different models of rental guns? If so try renting different ones, this will allow you to see what suits your playing style, eg a carbine or smg is better if you're the type who likes to go sneaking through thick bushes. For PPE your son will need a full face mask as pretty much all sites require them for under 18s. For you it's down to personal preference, but I'd recommend using a face mask as it's a lot cheaper than a trip to the dentist. A good pair of boots are also recommended as they give better grip and ankle support. You don't want your day ruined by a fall or twisted ankle. Also a pair of gloves are a good idea as shots to the hand and fingers bloody hurt For load carrying kit be careful not to immediately buy every bit of kit you like the look of. It's easy to end up with loads of bits and pieces you thought you needed but don't. Also just because you have an empty pouch it doesn't mean you have to fill it When you're at a game don't be afraid to ask others about their guns and gear, most of us are a friendly bunch and are more than happy to show off our kit. Hell, its it's probably harder to get us to shut up when talking pews.
  13. Seeing 40rps and binary trigger in the ad makes me think calling it a wanker gun is being overly polite
  14. Unfortunately unless you want to pay silly money your options are the one posted above or buy a regular colour one and get creative with the rattle cans. Personally I'd go for the latter as you can get creative with different shades of pink
  15. Sorry to say it but that's your problem there, vorsk have a reputation for being a bit shit. As @EDcaseposted, can you return it? If so then send it back for a refund as it's clearly not fit for purpose
  16. You'd think someone who's profile lists science in their interests would at least be able to do some research and fact check the drivel they're coming out with. I guess what we've got is a classic case of the Dunning-Kruger effect
  17. As nice as that looks I can imagine anyone importing one would be getting a knock on the door
  18. EMG stands for Evike Manufacturing Group. A very misleading name as they don't actually manufacture anything, just rebrand ACM guns which means QC can vary wildly That's definitely the right attitude to have
  19. Wow, 170fps is very low. What brand was this?
  20. So calling you out on your bullshit is "hate and scorn" now? I think you need to grow a thicker skin, and not just to protect yourself from those nasty HPA fired bbs. Wrong again. 1.1j is 1.1j no matter if it's fired from a HPA, GBB, AEG or McDonalds straw. It's heavier weight bbs that bleed off energy slower and has nothing to do with the power source. This is why heavier bbs give a better range across all platforms. This is basic secondary school level physics Considering I don't own any HPA guns that's another assumption of yours which is wrong
  21. Just had a look at that group, I'm certainly no expert but some of the "advice" given it on there is comedy gold. For example on how to lower the power on a hot AEG answers include use heavier bbs, cut the inner barrel down or buy an ICS with a quick change spring.
  22. And I seriously doubt that was from that distance. As others have posted, either take up your concerns with the staff on site or play at another site. Just moaning online doesn't help sort out the problem (if there is one) and tbh just makes you look like a whiny little bitch desperate for attention. Also, I'll ask again. What are your sources for the claim that Anzio is looking at lower power limits for HPA guns?
  23. As it appears I'm doing cqb every few months I decided to put together an appropriate loadout (well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it). So I got myself an 8 fields low profile plate carrier along with a triple pistol mag pouch and something to hold shotgun shells, all for a touch under £30. Overall I'm happy with it as I can't see any obvious problems with any of it, but at first the molle straps on the pistol mag pouch did look a bit thin compared to other molle pouches I own. This did make the pouch easier to attach to the vest but I'll see next week if they're up to the job. The only other slight let down was the dummy plates which came with the vest. They're foam matting which didn't fill the vest and were a bit too flexible for my liking but were quickly swapped for a better set of dummy plates I already have The dummy plates which came with it
