Thought I’d throw up a picture of my AK before it’s sold.

Intended it to be a bit of a space AK, Administrative results wannabe. Sans the Eotech, perst etc.

    Ended up very farcry esque!

The bat safe boxes are really good. I use one for charging larger batteries indoors, rc and fpv along with airsoft means all shapes and sizes of lipos. Having seen larger packs go up it makes sense.

Used guide is two thirds of retail, ish. some things hold more value than others and condition plays a significant part.
The tech who mentioned not chasing fps is on the right track.
I've seen stock TMs perform better than cheaper rifs with all but the kitchen sink thrown at them.
With the TM you know all the parts go together well and you should be able to lift a .28g bb consistently, though you time to target will be a little longer, although that matters less at closer ranges. the higher fps does mean faster but it doesn't mean control.
in terms of what to go for I'd suggest you try and get hands on with rifs you fancy and go from there. If you like the feel TM recoil and function then rails, grips, stocks etc can be changed without performance changes.

Visually the delta recon is the most similar but if you want an m4 opposed to 416, the mk18.
The kwa has harder kick than the tm, and will have higher power out of the box, though it might still need a rubber change for our climate.
The tm has the stop on empty function whe using the correct magazines.

Kwa used to have the last round stop function and recoil but they drooped the cutoff feature to free up the space to put the electronic triggers and mosfets into their gearbox design.
The g&g has the stop function but it is only in the tr16 g2 models, which off the top of my head, are the 308 variants and the knights sr series. They don't have the recoil function though in those ranges.

If recoil is a must have then I'd look at adding the stop function to the kwa, it's not the hardest thing to do but would require patience and opening up the gearbox; fitting a leviathan mosfet, setting it up, possibly an external control if you wanted that or having somebody do it for you. It would be something a few hundred quid to do.

Of the rifs you listed in the opening post last round stop is only a feature of the tokoyo marui and the gbl.

It can be added electronically to the other using a leviathan mosfet and external input system to the rif and setting it up. Doing this would require that gearbox is opened and doing so often voids any form of warranty, if you wanted one.
I mention it as it seems you would like the same sort of setup I use which is very a gas system style but would like the ease of an aeg.
I use a g&g tr16 308 as I moved back to aegs from gas rifs for a slightly easier setup, now I'm balancing life and get to play less often, but some of the g&g rifs that use the new type g2 gearbox have the stop on empty and now I have that on an aeg I wouldn't be looking to not have it at any point.

Another vote for skyrc chargers, I've been using one for ages.
I also use a idst charger which is even better but it requires an external dc supply.

I love night games, they are the best. Over the years I've never had the funds to have a set of nvgs, they are lottery win prezzie, but a few tips I found and things I've tried I'll pop below.

Move less and listen more. Your eyes only really work in one direction, ears work 360°.

Trim your kit, make sure you've got thing clipped where possible over velcro, it's really noisy when everything is quiet.

Red light filters, white light hampers you night eyes while red light effects it much much less and is less noticed by some nvg units. I use a filter on a leash so it can be knocked off if need.

    Have fun.

First game back after a knee reconstruction and also my first game of 2021, felt good to be out and about again.
An open day at anzio with first and only. Good day, nicely run; some slight longer breaks for the less fit, and from what I saw some solid marshaling (taking no bull and following up on the site rules and even ejecting where needed).

If you have had it working in the past and now there are issues I'd suggest they might have died.
If however it's a bed item/first time use issue it might be a mono connection at the ptt and you've got a stereo connection in the headset.
I had a similar issue recently and changing the onnetion type to a mono lead sorted it right out.

    On a less firer note:

Surefire handguard, as we already know, is a drop fit, with some patience I was able to fit a 7.4v 1400mah nunchuck, I also had a shorter 7.4v 1300mah nunchuck which was even easier to fit into this handguard. Eotech 551 on a VFC generic low profile claw mount, and as I have a game soon before I could get hold of a Gemtech I came up with a little MP5 specific housing for the Acetech S unit's internal.

There are a fair few bolt action rifs on the market which are gas driven but as Ed mentioned you will be better served looking at spring powered rifs unless you are looking to use hpa.

Yes did build up a SD6. Finished it last night came out lovely. Wasn't too hard to build if you can get original ICS parts and have access to a lathe to build an adapter. Longer barrel and new spring bumped my FPS up too 340 so looking forward to using it tomorrow for its first outing.
Also fitted my magpul guard and gemtech QD suppressor from my other ngrs mp5 I built myself to see what fitted and they went straight on.
I have a real steel sliding stock that I wanna try out but I think only the rails of the stock will fit with some milling so I might stick with the original as it's way more solid than any sliding stock on Rif.

Isdt and skyrc are the chargers I use. They have a mix of models to suit budget and desired spec/setup.
Ive used them for many years on airsoft, rc crawlers and fpv quads and they have never missed a beat.
