The 'How Did Your Airsoft Day Go? Thread
concretesnail replied to Skara's topic in General Discussion
Anzio has had hpa limits listed separately for a while but and there on site measurements have been consistent when I've been there. However their website doesn't help matters as it lists limits then maximum variances up to a hard limit. The language used makes it more confusing than it needs to be, like they are trying to show a rule of thumb for builders and that fact some rifs chrono differently due to weather or drying seals etc. -
Krylon is my go to. It can be found for a good price, application is easy and the finish is lovely and matt. I use it for all sorts of paint jobs not just painting rifs.

I found my g&g only like 3s packs. I run tattu 1050 3s packs which are 75c if memory serves and max draw of 150c. They are great. Inad them as flight packs originally but they fit edge on inside stock brilliantly. No good if you have to fit in a buffer tube but if your mxc9 has the foot type it might drop in nicely. If you want to lower the rate of fire to something less frantic then a change of mosfet to the perun etu++ would give you that option and is a direct swap for the g&g unit, along with other options.

I fly fpv quads, mostly micos whoops currently. Ive not tried planes, the closest I've got was wind flight. @EDcaseif you have you analog setup you can do headtracking is much cheaper than trying to do it digitally. I had a headtracking module with my fatshark goggles.

I'd look to maple leaf rubber and you can either by a box of orings to try sizes or search for a vsr10 piston oring , it's usually about 18mm unless the laylax change the cylinder inner diameter.
-
M150 and only 260 fps, I'd be going straight to the air seal parts. Start with a flash rubber in the hopup and new orings they feel lubed but if they have lost a little mass then you'll be loosing the seal.

I use hobbyrc for all my lipo needs, service is spot on and postage is very reasonable considering its loose lipos. I use a tattu 1050 3s in my 308, it fits vertically edge on tonthe butt pad in my pts stock, but they usually show dimensions for he batteries in the item pictures so you can choose what would fit best.

@MrTea Try the hot water and if it does get you what you want then great, if not then it'd be time to sand. If you do end up going for the sanding id chalk the inside of the holster and the press the m9 in and out, then sand off the areas where the chalk has been run rubbed or marked up

Any reccomendations for super secure Molle MP5 pouches?
concretesnail replied to harrypoyntz's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
It might not be specifically what you have asked for but I've run mp9 gbbr mags off a belt before and found that anything that has the mags sticking up tall from the pouch was a pain. When things are rig or pc mount used molle and decide to drop a kydex stiffening panel behind the molle when running the same chest size molle pouches in a belt setup. Basically it's a sheet if kydex given some curve and molle slots cut into it. Then run the pouches straps through the kydex panel as you mount the pouch to the belt. It worked really well. The pouch is the ops quad pouch from hueys. -
You will need a lipo charger, but luckily most good chargers that are used for lipo packs will do other chemistries too. As for the rhe bags. I don't rate them at all. They aren't fire proof, and they don't filter fumes in the event of a pop. If you're worried about having them in the house then that's OK, in have seen big lipos go and it's not for everyone. However if you treat them well, charge in a sensible way and don't over discharge point there's not reason it should fail. There's plenty of lipo advise about the forum, on chargers and setups etc. But if you're unsure just ask.
-
I think it is, with the caveat that check your rifs have a low voltage cut off or you're prepared to check the battery throughout the day or swap to a second pack if needed. Lipo batteries can have much stronger output than batteries of a comparable size in other chemistries. When we want rifs to look a particular way, use particular stocks having to house batteries can be the limiting factor with lipo batteries it much less of an issue.
-
Some more info would help, which rif for example. Some can be tricky others really easy so it depends. Generally though, it's not too hard and it can be done with some basic tools.

Holly crap. Six pages of spammer crap on the mobile version of the activity feed before I find something not bot made. Arrrgh. I don't mind helping out if it helps get rid of all the crap.

I use xt connectors on everything. Simply as all my charging kit is xt based for quad flight batteries and other rc stuff. They work really well xt30s are compact and the weather seal is good to. If you have issues soldering them connect a male to female and then if the connector over heats it can't drift as the other half holds it.
-
The quick fix is to pip it all the way out and lift the two tabs that hold the connector into the outer shell then pop it back in. While it's out you could also close up the tips toget a firmer grip on the parts when the plug is together.
-
Don't paint it, use it and enjoy it sensibly.

Change to deans or xt, just don't for get that you'll need to change tour battery and charger too.

Best worst airsoft accesoires
concretesnail replied to Smiling-Dutchman's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Pistol grenade launcher things, the mini moscart style/burst launcher which sits on a pistols light mount position. -
It's likely repairable if the trace is still there and you have a soldering iron, or somebody close by that could help. Obvious don't put your address on here but an area might help fond someone local who can help. Other than that drop a new mosfet in, personally I've been using the peruns and found them very good.

You shouldnuse what your comfortable having fun with. Worrying all the time isn't going to be any fun at all. I've purchased plenty of things that have great value mint/sealed than used but I still use them. Its much more enjoyable to use them than look at them, for me at least.

Where sells Heavy weight (0.4g + above) tracer bbs
concretesnail replied to Matt.2504's topic in General Help
Geoffs do tracers in .32, I've used them. I got them from outdoor and tactical. Heavier bbs I've only seen in white or darker, but it might be worth contacting them and see of they can get them. -
Morning all. I'm having a clear down today, some bills are coming, so I like to know if anyone has an idea on how to price this slide. It's a nova M&P9 SAI Tier1 Griffon slide, I'll drop some pictures below.
