I just checked if a BB rolls out of mine (been a long time since I last fired a BB out of it) . Using as six-G nub, Marui hop rubber and zero hop (I do believe) my BB stayed in the hop unit. However, an ever so slight touch made it roll out... when I mean a slight touch it was like feather touch light...

For the who don't know here is the Eagle6 MWS barrel assembly video.... @gunbod007at around timestamp 3.09min onwards you can see the inner barrel being inserted into the marui outer barrel. If the hop unit doesn't slide in then I suspect the tolerance of the Angry Gun outer barrel aperture is too tight and needs a tad filing out to accommodate the Marui hop unit.. Maybe the angry gun barrel is made specifically for an angry gun hop unit to fit? There's a thought eh?

I'd be interested to hear how much difference in accuracy of groupings the PDI barrel makes over the stock barrel... I appreciate it's a pistol and not an AEG length barrel and in addition I guess you need to have an appropriate distance to test over say 30m-40m? I mean what's the general expectation of this pistol? It's not gonna be MK23 type level but would still be interesting to know what to expect....

I assume the barrel doesn’t stick out of the front end right? I mean protruding more than the outer barrel. Oh you all know what I mean lol

Yup, HAO ain’t shipping to Blighty yet coz of COVID here. Can’t figure out why that would stop them shipping here but who are we to debate the problems that COVID has caused the global supply chain. One thing is certain, they do make the best clone rails and kits whether it’s for a MWS, AEG or the infamous PTW. . I have the HAO SMR 10.5” Geissele rail on my NGRS HK416. The quality and machining is second to none. Even the QD points are milspec!

Oh that's easy.... get the CQBR version..... then buy a Madbull Daniel MK18 rail (9.5 inch version in tan/dark bronze/or whatever the colour is) and the Mk18 Marui flip up iron sights and boom! Job done... Oh of course you'll need the correct wrench at a PTS GBBR spacer and some shims..... piece of cake!

Well you did start this thread way back then ? I’d stick with the Marui MWS ones. Just carry an extra couple if needs must. Plus they are coming back into stock all over the place now. I carry six but have two spare in case of erm emergencies (whatever that may be lol)

Now this is looking pucker! The post-mid-life-crisis part of me is liking this!! I wonder if they make that stock extension in FDE otherwise it will be Krylon.. (meh). So one gas fill is enough for about 500bbs? That's impressive. So how much gas do you reckon get's pumped into it?

There’s a influx of Marui stock in the next 2-3 weeks so in theory used prices should fall. But yeah I saw this too and thought crikey and you all know I’m a Marui fan boy! I'm surprised he bought a SOPMOD battery with it too...Any decent retailer would have either sold an adapter to use deans lipos or done a Lipo mod.. and the thing is those SOPMOD butteries are close to £50/pop!!

Taking the barrel off is quite easy... Just follow the Eagle6 video and you can't go wrong.. Which L119A2 RAS and barrel are you getting? Make sure the barrel is a MWS compatible barrel, You'll know what I mean when you see the video.

I remember S.A.S back in them days...they were all the hype back then..... everyone wanted to try one of their training days and learn a thing or two about real scenarios and tactical operations...

Get a PTS QD mount. They are designed to hold 300lbs of force, And guess what so are the Magpul ones. Are they made in the same place? Who can say? Plus you can use the PTS QD swivels too... Magpul to Magpul and Magpul to HAO. HAs to be Milspec though otherwise forget it.. PTS fits fine too....

Bought a couple of these Magpul QDMs. Thought I’d give them a try. They are flashy and look good and that’s about it. Stick with the normal Magpul QD’s.

Ahhhh I see what you mean now. Gotcha. My gas knowledge is limited to Abbey Green, Abbey Ultra Predator (Red can but still classed as Green) and Nuprol black which I dare not try in this pistol.

I have a daft question to ask here.... how do you know what PSI you're getting? Unless you're HPA'ing (is that even a word?) the pistol I hazard to guess?

That's the cheapest I've seen them for a long time.... could be coz the £ is getting stronger again and we should see items get a tad cheaper.... Also I heard from one retailer that they will be getting a large shipment of Marui RIFs in the next 2-3 weeks. This implies all UK retailers will get a restock of these Marui items as they all seem to get imported into the UK at the same time.
