  1. @Joe142 some solid kit there! I use a fair few of those brands and they work well ( DM, FRV, 5.11 jeans are my daily wear!) Looks good and should perform well. You might be able to lose the HS Flatpack as UCAP VENDETTA isn’t that big and getting stuff out is a PITA. Might see you there at the end of the month!
  2. Skylar is the alter-ego of Luke / Negative Airsoft 😂
  3. Yeah, but they are the TM Discord dwellers who have replaced 99% of their MWS with bits from umpteen different brands as they are <Skylar voice> uPgRaDeS!!!1!1!1! </Skylar voice> and the magazine issues are hardly noticeable against all the other major issues they are having 😂 Stick with the OG Marui mags 👍
  4. Could be lots of things, the vent size in the little rocket valve or the spring strength that holds it open can make a big difference. Either an RATech NPAS or one of the adjustable G&P valves might be the way to adjust it down again. If you have a spare spring (or the balls!) try cutting one coil off the valve spring and see what that does!
  5. Is the recoil spring too firm? The buffer weight too heavy? Does the bolt lock back on empty consistently? Struggling to think why it would be behaving like this!
  6. Use some spray degreaser to clean out the trigger box then relube with light teflon spray (GT85) and see if that sorts it. Worth checking that the ramp on the bottom of the bolt carrier is resetting the semi-sear
  7. I only have a RG dump pouch (so far…although I have invested too much in other pouches to double up) but usually run RG trousers and top as it fits in most situations and camo at airsoft ranges isn’t really a benefit. Belt kit is coyote brown and an M83 Nutria brown chest rig just to mix it up 😁
  8. Shooter belt finally done with the arrival of the Kydex Customs BFG holder. That is a lot of kydex on one belt 😂 Happy with the placement where the left is clear for the rifle to dangle and I can dump an empty rifle mag and pick up a fresh one as my right hand moves back round. Pistol reloads I am less worried about as it is a back up and one of the pistol pouches usually has a speedloader in to top-off the MWS magazines during a game…love the gas efficiency.
  9. Wow. Just wow. Geoffs Super Precision 0.32g BBs are defo the fave for my MWS. Vorsk 0.36g managed a 45mm diagonal and 936mm2 area spread over 10m Geoffs smashed it with 5 shots in a 319mm2 box, 34mm diagonal! I re ran the test to make sure it wasn’t a fluke and got 520mm2 / 42mm. For size reference the box is about the side of the end of your thumb! Bonus that they are a third of the price of 0.36g BBs (of any brand!) Next test will be with the new Maple Leaf MR Silicone hop rubber, but I can’t be bothered to change it at the moment and I would probably need to push the testing out to 20 or 30m to see any appreciable difference. Safe to say I will be grabbing some more Geoffs SP 0.32g with my next order 👍
  10. I made an elastic loop to go around my rail at the receiver end to stop the sling hardware trashing it and clanking like a bag of spanners as I move around 😂 50mm elastic and 2mins with a sewing machine 👍
  11. Esstac Kywi M4 naked, ML hop rubber, MWS Nozzle spring and Geoffs BBs. I got the Pistol Kywis a couple of weeks ago and were so impressed I have stumped up for the M4 tall versions for the back of my shooters belt. Hold the MWS gas mags really well but easy to get out and re-index. Will be testing the Geoffs against the other BBs I have to see how they perform and then testing the top 3 with the ML rubber.
  12. Some BB testing at 10m today, Vorsk 0.36g lead the pack and are much tighter than stock MWS on BLS BBs (according to 4uad airsofts tests) I used two 0.1mm AEG shims to stop the hop arm moving side to side but have the stock TM rubber in there at the moment. * 4uad tested Stock MWS 120mm diagonal group at 20m. * My MWS (Laylax arm, Crazyjet 250mm) with Vorsk 0.36 (thanks @MAX DICKER) 45mm with a flyer at 10m so roughly 90mm at 20m! Geoffs 0.32g coming, if anyone has a handful of Geoffs 0.36g they could bung in the post to me that would be great 😊
  13. Once the fuse is lit Mr Grenade is no longer your friend!
  14. I would probably walk past you and still not see you there! Probably ruin my BDUs when you poked the Mk23 in my ribs 😂
  15. Mine had wound off the hop for some reason so I had to reset between games. Accuracy out beyond 30m was a bit lacking so I might have to check the barrel is clean and the hop rubber not torn or something daft like that. Other than that I was hitting peoples hands as they gesticulated to their team mates 😂 EDIT: cleaned barrel and still struggling to get sub 4” groups at 15m. Took out inner barrel, hop unit, inspected and reinstalled. Now sub 2” groups with Amoeba Precision 0.30g (and even better with the Guarder 0.36g!) meh
  16. Attacksense is a cool system but if you don’t need all the bells and whistles you can build your own using Raspberry Pi / Arduino and some basic coding. Targets can be built out of 3mm lexan for not much money and you even get to choose the colour of the LEDs.
  17. I have a clone Unity riser so not an issue blocking the sight line 😂
  18. Inforce WML mounted at 12oc right at the front of the rail. Ambidextrous and low profile 👍
  19. The old one from my MWS has 2 ridges, probably 5years old. Will check the newer ones I can check later in the week.
  20. Had a couple spare, possibly from Impulse101 last year.
  21. Have a spare nozzle spring as these can fatigue and break. Eagle6 has videos on how to disassemble/ reassemble. A spare nozzle is also handy to have, TM, G&P or Dynamic Precision seem the most reliable. Dab of loctite on the Phillips screw at the end of the buffer tube, you will need a long screwdriver. Welcome to the MWS club!
  22. FPS variation was down to worn nozzle…new TM nozzle fitted and mags now within 5fps of each other🤷🏽
  23. Replaced the two lower ones and all at the same fps now. Old ones were pretty worn (5+ years use and a couple had small rips in them) Bolt slides smoothly over them with no hang-up and cycles and loads ok. Compared to mag #7 (purchased last year and only used a couple of times) the Guarder are the same size…just not as knackered as the other 6 mags worth!
  24. Now replaced all gas routers and two of the mags are well below the others on fps (230-235 vs 243-253) Need to try the two spare routers I have to see if that brings them all in line. I don’t mind a few FPS difference between mags but 25fps is a bit much and might make chronoing tricky! (Make sure I use the “faster” mags!)
