This advert is COMPLETED!
- For sale
- Used
As per title, never been used in a game but minor marks from the few plinking sessions it has seen since I bought it new in November 2020. A fun little gun, surprisingly gas efficient and 1200rps on full-auto but again I'm not keen on keeping guns I'm not going to skirmish, so the time has come to let this go. Comes in original box, with manual and one mag in total. Stated price includes PayPal fees and tracked courier. Any questions are usually answered quite quickly but please ask via PM as I don't get notifications of anything on the listing.£90

Just seen they do a steel hammer, so will pick one up if it fails....not the end of the world for me as most of my primaries are SMG's. I like this one. It's flat but wide and has good grip on the face (unlike the cowcow), so I find it comfortable and without the safety getting in the way you can tune it to zero take-up. Let me know if you figure out why they tell you to put the small grub screw in the bottom though as I have no-idea what purpose it serves.

@Steveocee - What would you recommend doing?
-
That's literally the only reason I did it 😉 ....hey at least you guys won Eurovision! 😀

- Black Mamba Type A fitted. - Hadron Short Stroke Kit fitted (300% nozzle BBU spring and recoil buffer). TTI adjustable trigger (no safety) fitted. Most of it was really simple but I found reassembling the lower far more fiddly than actual Glock platforms. I've also just purchased the wheel adjustment hop unit, as with the BM kit you can no-longer access adjustment with the top still on. Will pair it with a 138MM Maple Leaf crazy jet and 50 degree Flamingo bucking. Full-auto is kicking out 25rps and should be over at least 330fps with the slightly longer inner barrel....think it's time to get a drum and go pistol only!
-
Possibly there's another way to phrase it but how would you distinguish between "5th hand, been skirmished 300 times" and something which has been owned for a month or two and either hasn't seen a skirmish or just the once? If I was purchasing I would put significantly more value on the latter.

Oh you know......somewhere outside The EU... https://www.airsoftworld.net/action-army-aap-01-black-mamba-cnc-upper-receiver-kit-a.html They also have type B.
-
From what I understand, I'd need to keep the barrel length under 150mm. Anyway I've just picked up: * Black Mamba Type A upper * Hadron Shortstroke kit * 50 degree flamingo bucking * TTI flat trigger (the one without the Glock style safety) So will continue looking into the barrel and I want to pick up some mag bases but otherwise think it should be pretty beastly.

Which facial hair did you settle on in the end? I was half-tempted by those WARQ helmets but generally speaking never been too keen on helmets. I just don't see it with this one. IMO it doesn't even look like something which would be used in a military application, so the "Operator" appeal isn't even there. -

Where's the Facebook page gone? -
I may have missed it but is this for use during an airsoft event? If so, unless we're talking private games then airsoft is (and rightly so) regulated. Even if allowed, be prepared for it to get destroyed quite quickly 😉

£130 for "eyepro" with no (appropriate) safety markings, made by a private individual who has no prior reputation for releasing quality products? I just can't imagine a scenario where even the most inexperienced airsoft player comes to the conclusion that's a solid proposition. -
Does sound like perhaps the nozzle isn't going in deep enough. Can you remove the base plate and try without that in the way?
-
I've been guilty of this same mentality but it doesn't really make sense. "Change your motor, gears, piston etc.....as using an 11.1V will shorten the lifespan of the stock parts" Who really knows. Sometimes it's just luck of the draw or could depend on how the player uses the gun. Either way, is there any harm on replacing things if/when they break?
-
1) It doesn't cycle. 2) It's got polished slide rails for smoother cycling. I think this is a good example of why this thread exists. As a warning against paying that kind of money, for that kind of gun.

I have bought from them before and "dodgy" may be a bit strong. As has been mentioned, I think it's a one man band and that man doesn't even do it full-time, as they're slow to send and very slow to issue refunds. Which of course isn't on, as you're not to know when placing an order and it would likely affect your decision to do so.
-
I've been out of the loop for a while but is anyone running an extended inner barrel through a surpressor? If so which length to keep it sub 350fps?
-
I personally wouldn't pay £10 less than retail but as mentioned put it up for less than you paid and reduce the price periodically if it's not selling.

Hello All New Here and New to Airsoft Lf Advise
Cr0-Magnon replied to Lee74's topic in New Players & Arrivals
Hi and welcome. Simply put I wouldn't worry about buying a sniper rifle yet, which is essentially playing the game on hard mode (especially when using most "out of the box" rifles). Enjoy the easier version for a while, see how you get on. Sniping is amazing....in theory but very difficult to get right and often frustrating in practice. -
What happens if you insert the mag before winding? (and wind only until you start to feel some tension, then stop)
-
100% this and I think it comes from the Gen Z's (technically I'm a millennial) growing up with social media and realising that you can't actually win an argument/discussion online, so resort to dropping one of these phrases as to not open themselves up for analysis of their expanded opinion.

It feels far nicer in the hand, probably hops a slightly heavier BB, slightly further but that's about it. Don't get me wrong, I'm 100% saying they're not worth it on a £ to performance level (much like a "fully upgraded" NGRS) but just highlighting that you can sink £600 in to a pistol.
