Yeah, both iconic.  Not sure if I prefer spring or gas either

Advantage of gas is a much quieter, easier to pull and more realistic bolt action. However you may have problems in winter and have less rounds to hold, but shouldn't be unserviceable. Both have their positives and negatives. One of each i guess. I have the PPS gas Kar98K, which is an excellent rifle that really tuned me on to the idea of gas rifles.

    Hmmm, S&T could have a rival 😄

Haha yeah. Though i like that S&T went for the SMLE, while G&G are going for the No4. Hope they are still working on the No4 T sniper, that would be ideal for me.

I think I speak for all those who bought the first batch (many probably wishing to avoid missing out and forever regretting it) when I say...damn-curses.gif.dcda523e650a7a5362cd9b83e3c632c2.gif

Yeah man, never settle for something which is clearly overpriced. I always knew these were worth like £350 at the most (they are just a springer after all in a nice body) so was a clear no until i saw more realistic prices. Unfortunately these people know how much demand there is for Enfield's so will ramp up the price unnecessarily any chance they get, as they know people get exited and will pay way overprice to finally have one of these....

I'll bet the price goes up when actually available 🙄

I'm not so sure about that. All their other S&T rifles have sold for about that price or less. So I'm pretty confident it will stay.

For once nope not the case , it’s what the going price is . From HK it’s the same price in US $’s as it is in UK £’s so by the time you add all the ‘extras’ on there’s a very good chance it could end up costing more to import than buying in the UK ! 😳

Well that sucks then. Guess i will have to pass on this then as just another overpriced airsoft Enfield.

Quite sure they've bumped up the price to cash in on first buyers.

I suspect (hope) as soon as other retailers get them in the price should drop.

I hope so. Always seems to be the case with Enfield's... Jacked up extortionate prices for sub par rifles because they know people are dying for Enfields on the market so will pay...

  6. King arms are finally re-releasing their FAL/SLR line towards the end of this year. Best wait for them. Far cheaper than better than Ares. Other than that, Brit Cold War stuff is cheep, numerous and you can even use more modern DPM if you aren't that bothered about accuracy. Just depends on how far you want to take it but its one of the more easy historic loadouts to make.

Yes I am a TM fan boy but part of my love of TM is that they do not need to be up graded they work well out the box and Unless you really know what you are doing upgrades are detrimental to performance and life expectancy. Airsofters really need to get out of the guns must be up graded mentally (fair enough if you like to tinker) too many new players come on the forum " i want to buy this gun how best to up grade it for nebulous perposes". It should be buy gun you like the look of go play till the thing wears out. We should expect the guns we buy to do the job with out having to fuck about with them. That being said I am tempted by an AAP-01.

I do agree. Airsoft is probably the only hobby people are satisfied to buy sub par products which don't work well out the box for crazy prices....

Simple, don’t buy one. You can make almost any pistol fire as well as a TM if you throw enough money at it.

The rest of us will just by a TM lol

Its just that most airsoft pistols end up being an occasionally used accessory anyways, and at close range (which is when you want to use a pistol) almost all of them have the same effect. So i would much rather pay £100 odd for a decent full metal WE than £150 plus for a TM. But anyway TM is not the only brand which makes quality Airsoft pistols, i could buy an Umarex glock which comes just as recommended as TM and are metal, so i really don't understand the TM hype personally.

No one's ever asked that one before 😏

Get yourself something from TM, all are good, my faves prob the hi-capa 4.3, but anything by TM will do the job superbly.

I hear nothing but great things about TM, but for their price, a fully plastic pistol never sat right with me.

As BigStew said, it depends on the use and your preference really.

TM has gained their reputation for a reason.  Good reliability, accuracy and being plastic will use less gas.

Personally though I always go for metal as it just feels better.

I don't know about the Biohazard model but I have the standard WE M9 v2 and I'm very happy with it.

I think its mostly a collection thing for me although i will probably use it in game on occasion. I imagine its just the same as the standard M9s WE and TM makes just with the RE skin.

i recommended buying the we version 2

Personally, I'm not really interested with all the extra on the version 2 and its like £100 more.

can't say i agree with that statement

one i had was woeful internally and the externals weren't as nice as the stuff e&l is putting out these days.

and that's before you even mention RS.....

Really, that sucks to hear for you, but i only ever seem to hear people saying the opposite, singing the praises of LCT and saying that E&L are the inferior AKs 🤷‍♂️ .
