Perhaps the $530 price there is premium as they seem to have the first batch? I've seen a couple of Japanese sites where the pre-order cost is around $390-415. Still a tad pricey, but a bit more reasonable, at least for a product that isn't exactly going to fly off the shelves.
Their K98s and Springfield rifles are only like 250 dollars which is far cheaper than this. If they retail the same as that then i am game.

Update in case you haven't seen:
Its now available in HK
https://www.octagonairsoft.com/product-page/s-t-lee-enfield-no-1-mkiii-air-cocking-real-wood-rifle
But for that price I don't think I'll be getting one 😔
Yeah sadly looks like another case of "screw them with the price its a Lee Enfield after all"...... For a springer i will pass on that. When airsoft companies stop making these rare novelty guns for stupid money and actually work to make an affordable skirmishable historic rifle, i will be interested.

I've never had a problem with DPM in the U.K or your standard European climate, think its best for our green and dark forests. Sure there are probably better more modern options nowadays, but DPM is cheap af (Even brand new unissued stuff still) and in the end, as stated before it's only airsoft so it doesn't really matter.

seen a vest done somewhat similar, field expedient and suppose you could argue doesn't look that bad.
That could very much be so. However i do think it looks a little too factory fresh looking to be a field mod.

Now they are saying on the social media page that the KA Fal will be out in later 2021 or early 2022. Suppose time will tell...
Yeah i saw their FB response. I think they dont realise just how many people want those ffs. I hope they pull their finger out a bit faster lol.

Thanks for that. Yeah, they posted endlessly about their new Thompson, M4s and that weird looking modernised M1 carbine yet totally neglected their promised FALs. Seems stupid considering how much people love the FN rifles but like you said let's hope that LCT gives them the nudge. Will take a look at that questionnaire.

Technically, you don't pay for UKARA. You pay your site's membership fee. But some sites add an 'Admin' charge for updating the database for you.
I pay £13 for yearly membership to GZ and that's it. Membership also drops the price by £5 per game day, so you recoup the money after three visits.
I must be lucky then because our regular place Tech Brigade never asked or asks for any money besides the walk on fee.

People pay for UKARA yearly?! Lol what?
I never payed for UKARA and my local site updates it whenever i ask.

Has to be said that I think what people really want is a nice spring No4 and I never looked before now but I'm amazed the red wolf cost that much given the many notorious errors and quality issues. Well.. not amazed, this is the airsoft world, we expect perfection for pennies in tiny production quantities and some of the manufacturers are pretty clueless, but anyway. Hopefully if S&T can use a fair amount of these same parts they could also do a No4 after this without too much extra difficulty.
Yeah the Red Wolf was a total joke and greedy cash grab. Just because its an uncommon gun they thought they could charge that much for it. The worrying part is that if not for the rifle itself being awful they might have gotten away with it.

I'd rather have a real one...
£300? Ouchy!
Conssidering most other Airsoft WW2 rifles are much more expensive, and the last Enfield on the market (Red wolf) was around £600-700! I would consider £200-300 a very reasonable price. Any less would be sacrificing on quality, anyway this isn’t meant to be some cheep starter gun. -

oooh, any idea on cost yet?
Based on their K98s and Springfield's, probably in the £200-300 range which is very affordable indeed, unlike some others makes.... Red wolf "cough, cough"

Agreed their last efforts have been less than desirable, although it does look like they are doing something interesting with the gas system. Either it will be a total flop or might me kinda revolutionary.

Well they said 2020 and they didn’t lie, only just (will probably be a few months more till we see them here in the UK though).
I believe this rifle is a springer as well which is nice to see.
with this and the G&G No4 on the horizon it’s great to finally see some Enfield rifles on the Airsoft market place.

Ngl the EBB LCT looks pretty epic. LCT have a great rep at making the best AKs in the Airsoft market both internally and externally, so you probably cant go wrong with them.
