  1. I'm after a VFC BCM,just can't seem to find them anywhere in the UK

    Which is a bugger as I'd rather support a business here even if it cost more.

    Is there a way to contact the border patrol and let them know what my package is and when its coming?

    Thanks again to you both for your time honestly it really does help 👍👍

    1) In theory you shouldn't need to.

    2) About the same as any of the retailers over there. Quite often the courier tracking information is: We have it - It's Left Origin - Look down idiot, it's on your lap

    3) Ask the magic 8 Ball, it really is a matter of "luck" - In theory you should have to.

    Mate thanks for the funny reply and good information.

    So I'm guessing you've had experience with jkarmy?

    Will coustoms contact me if I do have to cough up?

    I've ordered from China before but not on this scale

    Thanks again 👍

  3. Hey folks,I'm wanting to buy a rif from JKArmy in Japan.

    Hoping for some advice before I take the plunge.

    Should I email them to check on stock?

    Are they reliable with their shipping and tracking?

    Will I have to pay HM Coustoms when my order reaches old blighty?

    Thanks for your time

    define best?

    Cheapest? WE

    Value for money? WE

    metal slide? VFC (Umarex)

     Best performing? TM, by a country mile

    Mate,thanks for your time.

    Yes its literally which one is better,I've had TMs in the past great guns but just to plastic toy feeling. My WE M9 however has a nice weight to it and I want something that if I need to run black gas in the colder days I can with confidence.

    Thanks again 👍

    Vfc just needs a maple leaf hop ( I use the silicone autobot in my gas rifs) rubber then yer good to go. The stock rubber is too hard.

    Thank you for the tip,its appreciated 👍

    Tbh I'm now torn between saving up for the L119A2 Hao kit or this.... both look like they're impressive kits anyway.

    I was thinking are they making the lower for the MCX too?

    If all you can do is replace the upper you're going to need to swap out the buffer tube for a RIS attachment to fit a fold stock.

    If that is the case I'm sticking with my Virtus/Rattler/m13 AEG.

    I keep wondering why they've not just done a Rattler of their own or even a Canebreak?

    Haha my thoughts exactly!

    Unconfirmed but seems likely you’ll be able to pick and choose barrel / handguard length seeing as Airsoft artisan already make a large amount of MCX kit.

    Oh fuck,I've got Artisan and Laylax on my virtus.

    Its all good stuff,how much do kidneys go for again?

    Thank you for the reply 😉👍

    MCX, it will be a kit to slap your internals into.

    Please god tell me this isn't an MCX Rattler kit...I don't think my bank account could take it 😭😫😭😫

    Not yet. It's the TM springer but for a springer it's probably the most conventionally skirmishable. Fires 270fps, stock it's set to hop 0.2 but I tweaked it to 0.23. Pump action function and slam fires.  Accurate to boot.

    Holy shit cant belive its a springer 👍

    Nope I am now running it like this, point me towards the aliens, I am ready to raid Area 51.

    Different stock will be added because it needs something more chunky to match the front but ho-lee-shit I love it.

    I've never been too big of a fan of bullpups but the SRU kit for the GHK G5 is pretty damn cool... Removed the top rail as the sight was sitting about 15 miles higher than I wanted it, much better now! Can see the benefit of it if you were wearing a mask, however. Second picture shows the rail (still detached though)

    Undecided if I will keep it as I do like my Vectors but we will see.

    My SAS M16/M203 is now done.

    Still waiting on side mounted m203 sight which is currently in the post.

    But it boasts;

    * accurate trades

    * C7 upper

    * STEEL barrel/front sight/flash hider

    * STEEL small parts, mag catch/selector etc.

    Just need to decide whether to leave as is, do a jungle stripe or GW1 look.

    Tokyo Marui Next Gen recoil AK47. 3D printed upper and lower handguard, Laylax stock adapter (heavily modified to fit next gen AK) and rear sight scope mount.

    I want to change the pistol grip but currently nothing exists so I'll probably design and resin print a PTS style grip for it.

    Wheres the hideous Bulgarian compensator? I like the idea of you making your own grip if you go down this road a few pics would be awesome🖖

    Thank you, it's basically my first child. For those interested in the gory details:

    • Tikka Compact Tactical Rifle 24" threaded barrel, chambered in 6.5mm Creedmoor (Finnish import for those 'White Death' vibes)
    • Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25x50 w/ illuminated reticle
    • Vortex Tactical Pro mounts
    • Harris lightweight 9"-13" bipod
    • 20x Hornady match-grade Ballistic tipped 140grain (9.1 grams)

    This rifle is built for 1000m-1400m target shooting and highland red-deer stalking.

    The bit that caught my eye was the 1000m-1400m target shooting and highland red-deer shooting most impressive. Remember not long ago watching a vid on the creedmoor vs 308,while I dont own a firearm I'm still interested in the innovation of not just the weapons but the ammo too 🖖

    Sounds about right for them, I often get sparrows on the car at work as they know I'll feed them.

    I'll throw up some more pics when I get the chance.

    Funny on how the Cornish coast got a mention, as that's where I live.

    Don't really do many coastal shots, but I have a few.

    Nice one,yep got house sparrows living in the roof 4 family's 2 in the front 1 on the side 1 at the back they keep all the pests down on the plants and eat me out of house and home too!!

    On occasion. I do try to avoid it. The Dorset section there is no need to as there are plenty of camping sites. East Devon is also good for camping. West Devon is more of a struggle and I had to wild camp or go further inland.

    Cornwall I have started using more Youth Hostels as there are plenty about.

    I take quite a few photos of my travels too, though i am not much of a photographer. Heres a few from the St Just to Zennor section, probably the second toughest section on the whole path for undulations.

    Honestly, go and do something like this, I go solo and its a very rewarding feeling, though many times I have just wanted to give up and go home.
