+1 for the use it before you upgrade it opinion Any new rif, fresh out of the box will need “run in” for a good few hundred rounds before it settles to a median accuracy. Hop rubber/barrel etc will all (I’d anticipate) need a good clean with isopropyl before its first shots to be confident 👍

One of them was dropped, one fell over - which belonged to one of the lads who works at Airsoft World Which is probably why the reaction from the store is so good, as the retailer has seen first hand that it’s really a design flaw Brittle plastic holding together a pressurised fitting (it appears) a metal plate to secure things would probably do the job. Let’s see what happens ………. 😆 But back to the dreamer.. Hes going to be lucky to sell it for £200 now He won it in a raffle, so it is effectively 2nd hand, no warranty cover, can he send it back to the prize giver? Would they want it ?. 😳

I think the fact that Airsoft world has already sent out a good bundle of them to new owners, proves that he is going to struggle. A good few hours with the dremel and it’s “almost” a perfect fit Fitted one of these to my M4 a couple of years ago and much prefer the angle for comfort. The standard 553’s grip is ok, but looks “meh” So got a MOE-K2 AK version for SIG Looks miles better imo Before: After:

A mate and I went last year He was first to get chrono’d , I was third in the queue after being told to empty a mag loaded with .36’s and get loaded up with .2’s for the Chrono!! Anyway, being chrono’d on the Friday morning and that was my only check for the entire 3 days Nothing stopping anybody from going back to their camp area and tinkering with their gun. Genuinely a stupid way to do things, but this latest plan of theirs is pure genius 😂

Apply a bit of pressure , it should slip in between the front of the hop unit and barrel, helps to keep the barrel tight to the hop unit
