    Looking for a trade for gbbr’s Ghk M4 10.5” Gen 1 Absolutely NO QC issues Subtly “pimped” and with the necessary upgrades to turn this into a monster RaTech “Salient” steel bolt RaTech Npas (adjustable velocity, 300-500+ fps) TnT hop & barrel unit Waldo buffer spring H1 weighted buffer Magpul Moe 2 grip Magpul B.A.D lever Magpul mag release Magpul rear sling point Ambi charging handle 6 x leak free G mags 4 of which have devil hunter feedlips Spare standard feedlips 2 additional nozzles (low and hi power) All original parts which have been replaced are included Will not come with Romeo 8 optic or Warden/Manta Supressor I think a fair price for this to put a value on it is circa £750 So primarily looking for interesting gbbr’s of a similar value with a skirmishable amount of mags , preferably NOT Ar/M4 models as I want a change The lightest weight BB this is not overhopping is .36’s, so it’ll happily chuck heavier if you wish, 36’s flying to 70~m Amazing recoil and great gas efficiency I just haven’t used it in a year since I picked up my 553, so hopefully a change will get my attention Any Q’s , please hit me a DM

    Yes, those ones but note - they aren’t hinged!! so the possibility of snapping off is great! 😂 I use a couple of watch screwdrivers to tease them open a fraction then push the internals out

    I did a woopsy Once you remove the base plate, open the tabs holding the magazine innards and push from the bottom it comes out easily after you have freed the grip the tabs have on it 👍

    What are you wanting to take apart/remove ? I’ve dismantled all of mine the clean the follower & channel, removed valves to replace no issues. The bottom caps, I’d be leaving WELL alone unless they leak Once you have removed the baseplate and your spring has fired into orbit Let the follower slide out of its track and pop aside The actual gas reservoir is held into the mag case by two small tabs either side. have a close look , you need to gently prise them both outwards then apply pressure from the BOTTOM end to push it out Edited 👍

    Thanks for that I understand the physics of joule creep, I maybe worded my original post badly, but I’m wondering why gbbr’s can hop a heavier bb than aeg’s can (without heavy upgrades to an aeg) make more sense?

    Right, Something I have never understood, but have practical experience of Why do Gbbr’s work better with a heavier bb? If green gas or air compressed with a piston is coming out of a nozzle, then putting the bb through the hop up no matter what variant of replica (aeg or gbb) why does a gbbr prefer heavier weights Ive never understood the mechanics/physics involved 🤷🏻‍♂️ My gbbr’s both happily Chuck .36’s a nice flat trajectory (and send lighter weights into orbit with zero hop applied) My only aeg doesn’t really like above .28’s (with an upgraded rubber) Whats the story please?

    I had one, it was decent out of the box -standard Changed a couple of bits on it, wished I’d kept it but sold it for a Scar H Now that’s totally a forgettable MEH PewPew The Ak does make a nice “clack” when the fake bolt slides back and forward when fired 👌
