  1. I looked online. The rail I have is one produced by ics themselves for the sa80. I plan to modify a spare picatinny rail for my sight so it should be fine
  2. I guess they just took out screws and literally replaced the 19mm with a 20mm rail.
  3. I have an ICS SA80, It should have but mine is second hand, previous owner must have swapped it out for a 20mm picatinny. My SUSAT doesn't fit a 20mm picatinny, so I assume it's a 19mm dovetail SUSAT.
  4. It should go without saying but don't actually look down your barrel lol.
  5. So my SUSAT unfortunately doesn't fit on a picatinny rail. and on ant-supplies it doesnt look like the adapter will come back in stock.. Any suggestions?
  6. If you're looking for US style things try GoArmy.co.uk or Military1st. Flecktarn.co.uk might also have some things you're after.
  7. See if your flash hider has one of those holes in it, if so, you'll probably need an allen key to undo it. This is a TM G36c so I assume most of the other G36c's should be very similar.
  8. Alright cheers I'll do that then.
  9. Ok, thanks, didn't know that. But I still want to use the carry handle from time to time, and the one I have doesn't fit on the weaver unfortunately.
  10. Hi guys, I bought my ICS L85 second hand and it came with a 20mm rail on top which is nice for my ELCAN, but I am currently looking at setting up my L85 with the SUSAT sight or carry handle for a little while. Does anyone know where I can get one of these 19mm rails so that I can fit a susat or the standard iron sights on my gun? I know you can get the 20mm to 19mm adapters on Ant-supplies but I don't really fancy having it raised up like that, looks a bit ugly. Cheers.
  11. My newest guns, and the three I'll be using the most throughout NAE later this month. Top one is a CYMA AK, I added a rail system, which required some "dremelling" to get it to work, (I guess it was designed for a AK47, not a 74 style front end..?) The Middle one is a Black FNX-45 Tactical, just got this today, really awesome kick on it, got it for £115 on Airsoft-worlds new auction thingy. considering their "sale" price is £150, not too shabby for a brand new pistol. Bottom is my ICS L85, got an Elcan for it, currently It's got a G36k flash hider on it because the pistol took all of my money and made me poor lol.
  12. Saving Private Ryan is my all-time favourite. Need to watch Kajaki and American Sniper still.
  13. Hop up wise, I put a guarder hop up rubber (the clear ones) in my M4 and it's performance was a lot better than before, so my recommendation would be to try that first, before getting a barrel and see if it does what you want. They only cost a few quid anyway, so even if it doesn't do what you want it to, it's not breaking the bank just for a test. If you want to buy one, Taiwangun.com sell them i think. I'm not sure about the Hop up unit for G36's so I cant help on that front.
  14. I suppose it's a bit useless to repeat what others have said, but my friend came to the UK from Finland with a P90 and an M4 for NAE 2014 on a plane. He contacted them several times before hand, so when he checked in at the airport, they had a note saved, security and police checked his guns, (in the middle of the airport...oops lol) to make sure they were fake, and once they gave the green light, they let him on the plane. He said it was about 30 minutes extra to deal with in Helsinki and 30 minutes to deal with in Heathrow. But yes, just inform everyone you think it might affect.
  15. Maybe spend sunday night in a cheap hotel to rest and then head out on monday?
  16. Got myself a TM MP5 for £30 from A2 supplies at the Mall when I was there on the 28th. It had no motor, selector switch, or magazines. Had a spare motor at home, and mags/switch is costing me £30 all in from Hong Kong. Not to shabby imo.
  17. I'm going with some old friends, we went last year and had a blast. Definitely worth going to, even just once.
  18. If you were willing to replace the whole receiver, you could get the standard AK74 folding stock, which is what my AK104 (or 105? idk) has. Like this. I'm sure HK shops will sell it. EDIT: Found it on TG, http://www.taiwangun.com/en/metal-body-aks74-a-c-m?from=listing&campaign-id=14 Dunno if it's worth that price. might be cheaper else where, but it's an option.
  19. I'm 90% sure V3s use short motors.
  20. Red 1 airsoft in Kings Langley area (Hertfordshire) is an old school site. not so industrial, but it certainly is awesome to play in.
  21. Site is called Reforger Airsoft, my Father regularly chats with the site owner. They don't host games regularly as far as I know, they post on Facebook when they have games/send out emails. Been there a few times. It's nice but they are a bit unorganised from time to time (this may have changed since I last played there). Right next to Red 1 School basically. If I had to guess, it's about 5 minutes apart from each of them. They're both 10 minutes from my house, which is awesome, (but irrelevant.)
  22. I did that on my older AK47, stick types fit fine for me up top in the receiver.
