*Sigh* Not exactly airsoft, but still a dumbass move to make!

Okay fair enough bud I understand where you're coming from. But yeah anyway as some one said, I hope anything they do in future doesn't negatively affect the game and its players -

People share videos everywhere nowadays. It's like trying to avoid cars on a motorway. I don't think it's ironic... then again, we aren't the same person, perspective differs I suppose. I don't share their videos on a page liked by 9 million (Lad Bible or those sorts of sites). I shared a few of their videos to a relatively small community so you guys know that they don't just shoot people with a nerf gun but also do other, even worse stuff (imitate an officer, walk around shooting a blank pb gun). -
Regarding the JG G36, watch out for the FPS on Chinese guns. They can be a bit inconsistent, so the FPS on one gun could be 30fps off from what another gun chucks out. That's just down to the lower level of quality control I think. It's just a friendly bit of advice as no one wants to turn up ready for a skirmish but find out they can't play because their gun is too hot (Happened to me about 4 times so far :'( ). Maybe get a new spring and someone to fit it. Note: I'm not saying don't buy Chinese guns; They can be amazing. My favourite guns, in five years of playing, have been Chinese clones, without even upgrading them I would suggest Chinese guns because they are cheap platforms that are clones, so they're compatible with a lot of aftermarket parts, means you can keep the same gun for years if you want

I find it hard to understand how these guys have that many views at all... Every video that I see by them is not a prank, it's not remotely funny, it's a waste of time for everyone involved. Their fans consist of people who say "Chill it's just a prank bro, it's a light-hearted joke". Here's some of the ones I've seen that piss me off the most, (as well as the main one in this topic) To conclude they're dickwaffles and need to be arrested in all honesty. They have video evidence of themselves committing crimes, especially ones where they impersonate officers (I don't know the exact laws of that, but looks to me like it's an illegal thing to do)... -
Looks fine to me. Personally I think it looks way better than the plastic-fake-wood-look that the Chinese companies try to do. Good work

I'm 99% sure that yes, it will, so long as the description of the suppressor is true, it will fit (14mm CCW thread)

I suppose this is a good place to mention this; I set up the Steam group a while ago when I was really active on here, but I stopped visiting the forum as frequently. Can you guys suggest who to pass the group admin power onto, maybe someone who is an moderator on the forum, so that they are trusted. You guys can make use of it to organise these game nights and stuff in the discussion areas etc and also make it easier to find other players. I feel like it's being wasted with me at the top. this is the group page if you want the link http://steamcommunity.com/groups/AF-UK thanks

I hope these photo's aren't too big haha. CYMA CM031, bog standard AK74 G&G GK5c, replica of the Swedish standard issue rifle the AK5c. TM G36c, wanted to set it up in an armed police sort of way, which was not difficult at all I have an ICS M4 and a TM G3 too. I'll see if I can get pictures of those later.

H&K Make a 20mm version in real life, I think. If I remember correctly BW (German Army) use it on MG4 machine guns as a carry handle. I found this after a quick google (there's an AUG and 416 in there with the handle on it). mmmmmmmmmm so much heresy.
-
Yeah thats exactly what I thought, since my other guns use the same motor too. I'll let you guys know how i do
-
Thanks for the link, I'll order it now and see if it works for my gun and gives it what it needs. appreciate the help guys

Would this one be recommended for my gun? It has a good price tag for me and has decent reviews.. http://www.amazon.co.uk/SHS-TORQUE-MOTOR-AIRSOFT-GEARBOX/dp/B00DPIVUG2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1423696658&sr=8-2&keywords=airsoft+high+torque#customerReviews

Ah, I see. What sort of motor is best? I dont really need anything ridiculous at all, I just want to quiet it down a bit and increase lifespan for the right money. I don't plan on upgrading the spring higher than 330 fps so i dont need anything too much.
-
Thanks, I will order it soon, looks simple enough to wire in. Gonna test motor height idea now, see where that gets me on the noisy-gearbox front. Gosh I really should learn all this troubleshooting stuff.
-
Okay thanks very much, Any mosfet you would recommend I install? I dont need anything like burst fire functionality, I just want something to make my gun work efficiently.
-
Okay thanks guys, I'll solder this one in next week and hopefully it can be the gun i want it to be.

Hi guys, been a while since I've really used these forums (or any forums to be fair) so I'm a bit out of the loop and was never really any good at tech stuff in the first place. My ICS M4 sportline is a CQB Model with crane stock and I am experiencing the following issues: -Sparking on Trigger Contacts -Terrible sounding (needs shimming and greasing) -Its not very accurate, I think its possibly an air seal issue however as i said, I don't really know what im talking about, I just read elsewhere that this was something ICS sportlines had problems with, It might not be true, I don't really know. I replaced my trigger switch with this, But it still sparks, I've tried using 8.4v 1600mAh, 9.6v 2000mAh (both NiMhs) and a 7.4v 1200mAh LiPo. I tried shimming and cleaned the gearbox, but ran out of time and quickly put the gun back together, which i can accept is my fault, but can i ask if anyone knows of any great shimming guides? I've replaced the rubber and nub with something my friend said was good (came in a pack of two and is red in colour, he gave it to me for free, I don't know who made it but he said it was a decent rubber). Also when I fire on semi, the trigger sometimes get stuck and I have to let off a burst in full auto to "un-stuck" the trigger. Apart from this the gun is stock and I want to know what upgrades people would suggest are essential and also what would be suggested to fix this sparking problem? I believe i need a MOSFET, and I have one of these, (got it for £10 with a rifle I ordered from them) but my friend said it wouldn't do anything in plug and play mode, but that's all he could offer me in advice. I'm not very good at the tech knowledge but with clear instructions I can do the fitting and fixing myself or with the help of another, usually my father or friend. thanks for reading anyway guys -Kaleem

It's him, I recall being banned from a JustBBGuns group a long time ago and he messaged me saying i used bad language or something to that effect.

when I got my first pistol, a couple of years ago, I was a bit smaller, about 12-13 year old. on my drop leg holster, the leg strap, fully opened was big enough to go around my waist Annoyingly, most bits of gear dont fit me too well, I dont have much fat or muscle on my bones. I like that idea of having extra straps, might have to look into that for my universal locking holster (which is super cool btw)

You could check out this FB page, I think it's KSK stuff, they made their own MG4 too! It looks amazing. https://www.facebook.com/pages/3-J%C3%A4gerbataillon-371/193813153993875?fref=ts The speak a bit of English so I guess you could message them, I'm sure they'd be happy to help.

Damn. I put one on my Dad's XPS for him when it arrived, but the thing was so mis-shaped and deformed that it hardly fit, and was almost impossible to take back off! I guess that's what we get for ordering ACM but as you said it's not too bad, I didn't put the cover on my sight since I hated the look personally, but it's all personal pref. What shield do you use? Custom made? I don't want mine shot out since both'll be on my mainly cqb weapons XD -

Fall 2013, probably Aug-Oct I'd think.

ha, similar problem here, my friends are all..."larger" than me so they wear vests and carriers fine but for me I had to find a "skinny-man" mod for the 6094A PC (only a chinese one by TMC) which required me to use a few cable ties and stuff, it was pretty annoying. even a Bulle chestrig was too big. I also have a viper molle belt which is also a little too large for me, but just a small bit.
