Is there any damage to the front of the nozzle? Sometimes the square bit at the front of the bolt bends upwards which causes jams.

You can gently heat it and bend it back down if this has happened.

They most likely add it because it sounds like it should be a good idea, which doesnt neccessarily mean it is.

Speaking from experience of using dry propane, I very rarely get a leak, my MWS mags for example have never leaked in the past 3 years that I have owned them.

Occassionally when a mag develops a leak which is a very rare occurance, I strip the mag down, apply a small amount of silicone grease tp the seals, heat them lightly with a heat gun and reassemble the mag.

I would not advocate the use of maintenance gas inbetween games, its a total waste of money and you are more likely to do damage venting the gas each time you change over. (Freezing rubber is never a good idea)

As for the adaptor, always go with a genuine madbull one, they are available on ebay and work flawlessly. The cheap clones are pretty hit and miss.

You shouldnt be putting oil in, I've run dry propane for the past 11 years or so and refilled my tanks from a calor tank. It has saved me a fortune and makes the gun more consistent.

It doesnt break your mag seals, and just requires you to apply a small amount of silicone to the piston cup in the blowback unit every now and then when you are cleaning it.

MAPP gas should be used in the winter when its alot colder, my MWS kicks like a mule on it, even in the coldest of weather.

You can also refill the MAPP gas cylinders with propane once they are empty.

One thing i would recommend is the silent fill valves for the mags. Only a couple quid for 5.

bit of a work in progress. Fitting LED's and laser to the TM Curve pistol. LED's work but the laser is giving me grief. Need to redesign the push button as the grey one on there now was just to get things working.

Technically it isnt fixed hop, even though they do advertise it as fixed.

If you push the metal hop arm towards the front of the gun, it increases hop, push to the rear and it decreases it.

You can also bend it to increase hop. Mine us currently easily overhopping 0.3g bbs with the hop set to around 70% of its travel.

Does pushing the trigger forward reset the sear? If so, its normally its due to dirt or burs on the sears.

I got my MWS some time ago, must have been a freshly hatched one, was quite small ...

Read all 228 pages here (yes really) and found nothing about small MWS (except for some guys rebuilding theirs into short ones)

Didn't want to send it back, so tried something:

IT WORKED (insert evil scientist laugh )

(don't know why picture is upside down)

Asking permission to join this exclusive club.

Had not thetime to go out and play yet, but while reading this thread the MWS has quite grown on me 😁 (ok ok, I'll let myself out)

Arktis have a good sale on for black Friday if you want some more obscure camos like Swedish M90 or even high-speed modern DPM kit.

I've found the RA-Tech nozzle and barrel to be good investments. The barrel have great accuracy and the nozzle has lasted 6 years now. The RA-Tech bolt unfortunately was way off spec and needed a fair amount of material sanding off the receiver to get it to cycle smoothly.

Mapleleaf buckings are great with the metal c ring which helps seal and grip the nozzle. I chose 60d for 450 fps, if you are running it sub 350 the 70d will most likely be too hard, 50d will probably perform better.

I would recommend getting a proper scope that is rated to recoil, Mine destroyed 2 scopes before I switched to a vortex.
