Just to put my spin on it, my "go to" is my tm m4s, bought from another player probably 15 years ago, he'd had a buying frenzy (as many of us do 😉), so had only used it once in the month he owned it (I saw the receipt), & I gave him £140 I think, saving £100 on something that was essentially new.
In the last 15 years its been used on hundreds of games, both by me & numerous friends, its never been serviced, never even been opened up, completely stock as the day it was "born", shoots straight & accurate as any gun I've used.
AND NEVER EVER LET ME OR MY MATES DOWN.
(prob jinxed it now😒)
Irrespective of how much dosh is in my pocket, would I spend upwards of 1k on something that flings bb's slightly faster than my tm, & feels a little bit more realistic?

No such thing as too long for CQB mate , I’ve played with a full length M14 and an SLR !

Thing is, most of the time these sales posts appear to be from relatively new users, who's sole reason for joining the forum is to use the classifieds to shift their overpriced rifs, prob cos their usually fb pages are no longer allowing rifs, & the likelihood is that they'll not contribute to the forum in any other way, so whether or not we give them a heads up that they're being "outed" is prob irrelevant, they're likely to have spammed their sales thread on every other forum they can find that gives them the same kind of ease of access.
If they're a "true" member, they're likely to see the post when they click "unread posts" looking for new content.

After having thought long and hard about it I actually like the white and black colors so am now thinking of a paint scheme to incorporate these colors . 👍

That, and the rest.  I'm not putting time into trying to reason with someone who's displayed unreasonable behaviour.  All it's likely to result in is an edit to shriek "NO MOAR TIEM WASTARS!!!!"

A £520 readily available gun which apparently still needed a £335 kit thrown at it (complete with a spring that puts it over 500fps, but it's £335 worth of art, not science). Add in three £18.50 magazines, maybe £15 of rubber and nub, and a £33 suppressor.
 
Now, you or I might make that £958, but the seller reckons they spent over a grand, or maybe £1300 (£1000 before the £335 kit?), it's not really clear.
 
Anyway, they'll do you a favour and let it go for a very fair £940.  With a whopping £18 saving (less postage) over the price of a brand new warranted gun with the same spec, you'd better hurry and snap it up before someone else does.
 

Bit the bullet & bought a g&p tactical ak, first ak in nearly 18 years of playing, needs a little tlc but didn't want to blow my wad on a pricey one only to find ak's aren't my thing.
roll on the afuk mall game to give it its first outing😏
